This 5 star review is for Courtney widmann, PA-​C. She is excellent with children and has great knowledge of how to care for a sick child. After days of back and forth with other doctors who could not help us when our child was very sick, we saw Courtney at the very friendly aptos office, and we’re pleasantly surprised. She prescribed medicine that worked, did the proper lab test, and at last our 3 year old was much better. She called to check in on us and scheduled a next day follow Up appointment. Not only does she help sick children in the moment, she also follows up on them. She truely cares. Sometimes the capitola office is a little hard to work with as far as getting an appointment last minute when you really need it, but the aptos office is more then accommodating. Also her staff were extremely friendly. Parents know nothing is harder then watching your child sick for days with no improvement, and Courtney totally gets that’s she is a parent herself. If you are looking for someone great in pediatrics and goes above and beyond expectations Courtney is it. Another wonderful doctor with children of her own is doctor gorum at the capitola office, she is very caring and efficient.
