This place sucks. There are always homeless looking junkie sketchballs hanging out inside waiting for an opportunity to steal clothes. Someone stole my socks for crying out loud, and there is no staff to keep an eye on things. I’m actually more concerned for the women here because of all the weirdos lurking. Lots of options in town, I’d suggest a laundromat that isn’t also a homeless shelter.

Zero stars. No good working phone number. Used a $ 5.50 machine and it stopped in the middle of the cycle. I risked it and put an additional $ 5.50 and it worked as if nothing was wrong. Went to use the dryer, took $ 1.50 and worked for about a minute and just stopped. Wtf!!!

DONTCOMEHERE!!! — Unless you want your stuff STOLEN! I used to wash my clothes here all the time, but I had my favorite robe, jeans and winter coat stolen from the dryer, on different occasions! First my jeans, then tonight someone had gone through my dryer and removed my nice winter coat and the robe I sleep in! The management is NO help. There is never anyone staffing the place, I have NEVER seen staff except one janitor maybe twice out of 30+ times I have been here. The washers eat your money on a regular basis, and there is NO support from anyone. The phone number they have posted for refunds and emergencies is out of service! A few times when I have been too, there has been a man sitting outside drinking beer and yelling, plus making catcalls at women. Very bad environment.

Not sure why the reviews are so poor. The man who works there(maybe owns it?) was so kind to me, helping me to know which machines were good for what, and what the loads should look like. He was very helpful, and several of the machines are very new and high quality. Perhaps they were not there when the previous people reviewed. I am able to clean and dry large loads with great options(like cold and perm press, delicate, etc.) and with multiple wash cycles(certain machines).

My boyfriend and I moved to Live Oak recently and our washer just broke. We’re not going to be able to buy a new one for a few weeks, and clean undies are very necessary in our lives! So since this place was right around the corner, I thought I’d give it a try. The only review I read on this place gave me doubts, but I didn’t want to go to someplace(possibly) more expensive. I’m usually pretty easy to please, but since I’m writing a review like this, I’m sure y’all can tell I’m steamed. Let me give you all the details. I drove up, found a parking spot easily, and thought I had about two loads to wash. My basket was pretty full, but I’m used to big washers, so I just assumed they had big washers as well(like other laundromats I’ve been to). Nope, dead wrong. Their washers fit hardly any clothes in them, and I had to do SIX loads of laundry for $ 2.00 a load. Now, I’m fine with that price, but they had no ATM, and their change machine wasn’t working well, so I had to go around the corner and get change. After my first three loads were done, I looked around for the dryers, and the ones near the washer I was using were $ 8.00 a load. EIGHT. DOLLARS. A LOAD. That is absolutely ridiculous. I know, I know, laundromats aren’t cheap, but COMEON. Luckily they had the twenty-five cents/5 minutes dryers… oh wait, the motors just broke on me and ate three dollars of my change. Well, guess I’m gonna take my wet clothes home to dry in MY dryer. I hope that IT doesn’t stop working next. INCONCLUSION, this place is expensive, inconvenient, and I saw no staff come out whatsoever. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. If you have to drive two hours to do laundry at your parents’ house, I’d say that should be your first choice.

This place is pretty clean, its near a caffe and dollar store so that makes it more tolerable to do laundry and buy laundry supplies. The tv is usually playing a good movie and the video store is next door. They free wireless internet access. The dryers do not work very well. They also offer a service where they wash your clothes for you. They will come to your home pick up your clothes and drop them off but they have ruined some of my clothes and the clothes often came back smelling like mold. So I would not reccomend their pick up and drop off service or their home delivery pick up and drop off service but the laundromat is ok.
