A group of us had lunch here, we heard they had the best Mexican(authentic) in the area and they didn’t disappoint. From the burrito to the salad to the burger it was all excellent. Next time we’ll have try their Sunday brunch!

It was as good as it gets! Now closed! Don’t know why. Bummer!

This place was ok. Had some good meals and had some«not so good» meals. I guess it wasn’t good enough though since they are essentially OUTOFBUSINESS. Not much else to say.

We’ve been enjoying the fresh food at Nuevo for a couple of years. Might be a bit expensive but the chef really does a great job. The dishes are fairly simple but really good. Today, we were going to have lunch but a sign on the door informed us thay they were open by appointment only, and were available for catering :-(

WOW!!! I want to give more stars. While doing a car run with our club I was In charge of finding lunch spots. So I found this place and made a reservation. We were running late so I called to let them know we would be late. They were ready for us when we arrived. The food and service were phenomenal. I had the chicken burrito my husband did the crab omelette. We were thrilled that all 12 of us loved our meals. So fresh and tasty. Great prices too, my burrito was only 7.95. Oh and I ordered a side of the freshly made corn muffin Omg those were delicious. Only bad thing that I can say about this place is that they are a few hours from home.

I had the seafood risotto and it was phenomenal. Five juicy prawns fresh salmon and crab cooked to perfection. Unfortunately the chips and salsa weren’t complimentary, but the guacamole and salsa that came with it were fresh, zesty and tasty. Service was great and the food came out relatively quickly. The drink menu looked limited but I don’t have a fake so didn’t affect me. Great stop, but seriously get the seafood risotto.

The Good: My husband & I loved our Mango & Beet salad we shared as an appetizer. My husband also really enjoyed his nachos. The service was friendly, quick & enjoyable. The atmosphere is fun. The Bland: I had the Veg Risotto. It was tasteless. I traded it in for the Potato Enchiladas. This dish was better. I really enjoyed the red sauce. But, overall the dish was nothing special. The Bad: THEPRICE!!! The average price of an entrée is $ 12…it’s just too much for the quality of the food. Also, the table tops are weird… a black table with little green diamonds… it played tricks on my eyes.

Whenever we are in town we go here for breakfast. Their hot chocolate alone is worth the visit as is their corn muffins. The portions are a bit small but it’s probably more like what restaurants should serve but we are so used to being overstuffed. Friendly staff and just a nice place to go for breakfast.

This place is really just so-so after 3 visits. The food flavors are interesting but very small portions and a tad pricey, waitresses are slow and the setting is cold. When attempting to use a Groupon a day after it expired they refused to honor it for anything more than I paid for it and every other business honors these for at least a month! This shows me they really don’t care about customers either new or retaining them so oh well… my money will be better spent elsewhere.

This is pretty much 100% generic southwest/mexican/texmex. My girlfriend had the chicken fajitas and I got a chicken breast dish that had goat cheese in it. It was fine, just nothing to get excited about. I probably wouldn’t come back here again, I was hoping for a bit more given their ratings on Unilocal

We stopped here because of Unilocal. It is probably more fusion food than it is authentic, BUT the watermelon auga fresca was DELICIOUS. We got to go food. There was a sauce that was put on top and we weren’t told what it went with… so we didn’t use it at all… I thought that was lame. At least tell us what the sauce was for. The food was good, the quesadilla was FILLED with cheese and steak and the taquitos were delicious. This place was a little too expensive for my taste, but that comes with going to a $$ restaurant, so I won’t downgrade a star. 3 stars because I just wasn’t particularly ecstatic about the experience at this restaurant.

I can’t believe a couple of negative reviews I just read. I have been going to Nuevo for at least 3 years, and it is consistently excellent. I most often go for lunch on the weekend, and the choice is great for whatever I am in the mood for, lunch or breakfast. The vegetable frittata is fantastic, along with the corn biscuits. As others have mentioned, they are the best. Be sure to ask for butter and strawberry jam! Coffee is excellent too! The salads for lunch are wonderful, the soy/ginger dressing is excellent, as is the caesar salad with tortilla chips, roasted corn is excellent. I usually order a side of grilled salmon to add to the salad, which is fabulous. You will love this place!

I was a bit disappointed. For vegetarians, there aren’t many options… Potato enchiladas kinda tasted like hand soap? Also: no chips and salsa served with the meal!!! 3.00 extra! WTF?

Ohhhh the corn biscuits! Came here for breakfast with my pops and liked the colorful interior with lots of windows. Coffee and water were promptly served, and the waitstaff was friendly and helpful. They recommended the huevos rancheros, and they didn’t steer me wrong. Only thing, I switched the eggs to scrambled. Tasty sauce, guacamole and black beans. I ordered a corn biscuit on the side, certainly not because I needed it(portion size was a-plenty!), but because it sounded so darn appealing(and looked appealing on other tables). The sizeable biscuit was moist but sturdy and held up well on its own, with butter or with jam. If I lived closer, I’d be back again soon. My pops says their burritos are pretty good too.

We had our staff Christmas lunch here — about 20 of us — and it was a fun experience. We sat in the raised section of the dining room at one long table. It’s kinda squished inside, but it was comfortable and hey, not everyone brings 20 people to lunch! Chips and salsa and guacamole(all good) were set out when we arrived(not sure if the guac is standard or just for our large group), and we had a limited menu, but there were still plenty of lunches to choose from. Most of my coworkers had the carne asada plate or the southwest scramble. I chose the salmon burrito — salmon, black beans, and a verde sauce — and a salad. It had great flavor and was a really good, light lunch. I ‘washed it down’ with some watermelon juice(which brought me back to a childhood taqueria I used to go to). I felt like the whole menu selection was either a ‘classic’ southwestern dish or a dish that would have been kind of «eh,» except that they added a southwest twist that made me go «eh?». It was hard to choose because everything sounded interesting. For dessert, I had a slice of mud pie with a raspberry sauce. The ‘crust’ — the whole dish actually — had great texture and the filling was cold and creamy. We did a gift exchange while we were there and the staff very kindly provided a bag for trash and a basket to draw numbers from when we asked. I just wanted to point out how helpful they were. Can’t wait to go back!

The service is great. Very family like. The food is spectacular. Never any surprises. Always a full house but never a long wait if any. No wait if you go early like us. Full of the locals so you know it has to be good. Our very favorite.

I’ve been here twice for Sunday morning breakfast. Before 10:00am there is plenty of parking and the place has not filled up. The menu offers some unique southwestern breakfast options and still has basic items that the children will enjoy. This is just across the street from a Sunday morning farmers market.

The first time I went here it was good, but not great. However this last time everything was perfect! I think the best of all was the salsa fresca with tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. So simple, flavorful, and of course fresh. The chile relleno that I had was one of the best I’ve ever had. Other perfect stuff: salmon, quesadillas, corn chowder, and black beans.
