Nicole is amazing! She’s been grooming our 2 Bichons for several years now and I can’t say enough good things. I have no idea how she turns them out so quickly and well groomed. I use to groom them both before I became disabled and it’s NO easy task… time consuming and labor intensive is an understatement. I own professional equipment as well, but my home-​grown skills made me look like a beauty school drop-​out compared to her talent.
In addition, my 2 dogs each have their own psycho personalities. One is anxiety ridden and the other is loud and obnoxious, but also truly meek. They are both calm in her presence and even though they don’t want to admit it, I think they both like getting froo-​froo with her. They willingly hop in the car when they know the word «bath» is at the other end of the journey.

been bringing our dog to Nicole @ paradise for the past several years, we now have two dog and bring tehm both to her. Nicole does a great job, our pets look great and she does great terrier cuts!!! Her price & quality of work is great!!! She is highly recommended!!!

We have taken our Sheltie to Nicole a number of times and have been consistently happy with the quality of her work. His coat looks beautiful, nails trimmed, feet and hock fur trimmed too. She even came in an hour early one day to accommodate our last minute appointment request when we were headed out of town for a trip. I would recommend Paradise Pet Salon without hesitation.

I have been taking my miniature poodle here for years now. The place smells great, its clean and has really cute accessories for sale. There was a time when my dog actually LIKED going. I have had many more positive experiences with bringing my sweet angel here than negative experiences by far.
Her business is really booming and she handles it all by herself for the most part so lately I have been asking to be booked on a day when she has some help or a day that might be less busy so my dog will get a better look. She knows how to do show cuts and she knows poodles because she has one. I also try to be nice to her because not only do I just like this person after all these years of witnessing her professional friendly behavior towards clients but I know what a good job she can do. I also communicate with her if I don’t like something which is rare and she responds fairly.
My dog was super cute last time, not 100 percent perfect in the sense that she had a couple little spots on her but you know what, she is a dog and frankly her well being and cute hair styles are an ok trade for tiny bit of imperfection here and there.
My dog is not kept in a cage for a long time and she doesn’t come out of there with a bunch of hair all over her like some places will do. She is professional, thorough and my dog approves of her. Also the location of her business is a comfortable place to park, shop, walk the beach and be.

I would give zero stars if I could. Not only did this place cut up my dog– they gave her fleas. Yes– cuts and fleas. I went back to get a refund (I asked for this it was not offered) and Nicole blamed the dog for her wounds. Yes, let’s blame the dog for your poor work. Do not take your pet– my poor dog is still recovering from her injuries and I had to shell out money for flea shampoo and spray (paid for by me– not the business that infested her).

Nicole is a wonderful groomer. She always does an excellent job and in addition she is one of the few groomers in the area that have space for her clients. Her shop has a lot of space so She always treated my senior Hobbes with gentleness and kindness so she was never afraid to go to see Nicole. Nicole now carries pet clothes, toys and treats. I highly recommend her!

This was our first visit to groom our little Ollie and I have to say I was super impressed. Nicole is super kind and mellow and extremely knowledgeable about his small breed. We were back in less then an hour and a half which is incredible since most groomers like to keep him half the day. His haircut is adorable and perfect and his nails are trimmed and he is good to go! Glad to say we will be back in 8 weeks!

I love the way Nicole at Paradise grooms my dog Oliver. She is always on time and Oliver always looks (and smells) great! Her shop is wide open so you can watch your doggie being bathed and groomed. She also has really cute doggie outfits and the cheapest chicken jerky in town!

Absolutely the best in town!!! She is amazing at what she does and is always friendly and treats my dog very well. I’ve taken my dog all over town to get groomed and once I found this place I stopped going any where else.

Wow! Nicole the owner is so great with the pets at her salon! She does an excellent job grooming our two Shih-Tzu’s and remembers them by name. I go out of my way to schedule grooming at Paradise Pets since I don’t even live in Santa Cruz. We visit often enough that I will no go to any place in San Jose again.
She’s simply the best!
