Haven’t even ate yet and it’s like 100 degrees. No ac what so ever. All they have is those stupid fans to blow the heat around. Place sucks. Waitress is very rude. Never coming back. NEVER! BUT… The pizza is alright I guess, if you can afford it.

Wow, Nick and the crew are top notch! The Upper Crust delivered both literally, a grad party for twenty, and figuratively with awesome food, anti-pasta, salad, pizza, ravioli and tortellini. We can’t thank you enough UPPERCRUSTPIZZERIA!

Upper Crust is the best! Accepted our party of 20 and had two large tables set up for us to sit, and reserved two booths to place our food and beer pitchers on. Very helpful and very welcoming staff. The pizzas were awesome, the beer selection was good, and their family sized salad was the perfect amount. Thanks so much for everything!!! Will definitely come back.

Came in today and got the Sicilian style pizza. Pizza was below little Cesar caliber Detroit style. I also ordered a ten piece wing order and they delivered nine wings only which were undercooked and a little cold. I was really disappointed with the poor quality given that this joint is not that cheap. If you are trying to save a buck your better off getting something else.

So we came here based on the great reviews and waited one hour+. We ordered a kids pasta, kids peperoni pizza, spicy wings and a medium pizza. The waitress and cook Julio after I asked twice said we are busy. However, as we were walking out miraculously our food was ready. I cannot believe it… then not even a courtesy discount for our wait. If you cannot handle the crowds on a game night with reasonable wait times then get more competent staff or have less tables! Worst experience on our Vacation to Santa Cruz.

Glad to have tried it but this is the worst, most bland pizza I’ve ever had. Slice pricing is good and the pizza + beer deal is enticing but I just ate the worst pizza I’ve ever had.

Fantastic pizza! You can taste the fresh made dough flavor. The crust was nice and thick. It also had plenty of toppings, too many times at other places I have had something similar and the tops are little to none. There was lots of garlic on my pizza which I was pleasantly surprised about! I ordered the deluxe veggie pizza, I was debating on ordering extra garlic but it was not needed, it does not have too much. It was perfect! I didn’t have to wait as long as the online ordering said it would take which was great as well! Matt b. My delivery guy was very nice and Professional. Definitely will be ordering from here again.

Classic Pizza place. Awesome ravioli too. You gotta try the thin crust pizza with Italian sausage and mushrooms. Trust me. The Sicilian Muffaletta appetizer is pretty incredible too. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff! Good choice.

Yummy pizza, good veggie options. We often do take-out but I used to have sports team parties here and they seated us and took care of us well. They have other sides too.

This is a pizza place located on the highway 1/mission road route into santa cruz. While they do serve salads and sandwiches the focus is on the pizza. They have their own parking lot-in the back of the restaurant which is unusual for a santa cruz restaurant. Parking will not be an issue here. There is a decent mural on the north side of the building which makes it easy to find. The staff are all used in the promotional materials. The photo’s of men and women you see on the website, on the coupon flyers, and on the menu’s and napkin dispensers all work in the restaurant. Kinda trippy when the person taking your order is on the menu but in a nice way. The seating is your usual booth and table combo, and there is a small bar with room for six people or so. The daily specials are totally a bargain. A drink(beer or otherwise) and a slice will run ye about 5 bucks on the lunch special. The dinner specials aren’t quite as good, but still some of the best pizza value in town. As for the pizza itself it’s pretty good. Everything but the thin crust comes in square cut style. The sandwiches are decent, and the muffaletta is an argument waiting to happen. People that like this item really really like it, and people that don’t think it’s glorified garlic bread. I have never tried the wings, and the salads are merely meant to complement the pizza, not intended as a standalone meal item. They have 14 taps, and while they are heavy on mass market brands there’s a couple of local beers mixed in. The wine selection is laid out along the same lines, not too much local selection, but enough depth where you are sure to find something to enjoy. I’ve almost always had a great experience with the staff, with one exception which is why the this is a four star not a five star. It involved some ordering confusion wherein the waitress forgot to input the order for one of our party, and then chose to take the food from another patron to give to us. Pretty shabby thing to do really, both for the other couple and for us. I don’t feel as an entire restaurant should be punished for what seems to be a one time mistake, but I recommend being as clear as possible on your ordering. For my final note-Wed. is trivia night and it’s the one of the best things ever.

The thick crust pizza was plain amazing. We did a half veggie gourmet and a Mt. Etna and OMG it was heaven. The staff was very accommodating to our large group!!! A+ Upper Crust

Since it was national pizza day, we decided to go try this place out for the first time and it was satisfying. The pizza was delicious, so was the caesar salad and the molted cookie sundae, although I wasn’t too thrilled about the buffalo wings. Spicy but not saucy. This place is definitely worth the try.

The pizza is definitely worth a try! But the customer service from the team working on 1÷1÷6 was awesome! Thank you for making our meal right and driving it to us :)

I’m going 4 based on a really pleasant overall experience: — super nice and efficient waitress(I ate slooooooow tonight and she never rushed me — damn good pizza — none of the usual Santa Cruz mixed-bag of feeling like I’m gonna get stabbed when I step outside — or inside. Despite not living here, I have eaten here a lot and have always had a pleasant experience. Including a delivery guy who once was super cool when there was a problem with paying(long story).

I suppose a lot of people have different opinions about Pizza. I personally, found their pizza similar to what I had in high school. I had the scilian style thick square. Everything about it tasted very frozen. I don’t know for sure what’s fresh, but I didn’t care for it. I did like the old school pizzaria environment and the wait staff was fast and friendly(a very slow sunday night) Honestly, the happy hour is better at the Parish and the pizza is better at Woodstocks. Too bad. It’s a nice little hole in the wall that could be better.

I stopped in here late in the afternoon, for an early dinner, late lunch thing. I chose this place because I know that they sold pizza by the slice. The original employee greeted me with a smile and seated me. I ordered a beer, and she told me that they did not carry that brand, and I pointed to the bottle in the fridge, then she realized they do carry that brand. The pizza I got had been under the warmer for a very long time, because the crust, was like rubber, and it was not very hot. I have had better there, but this time, was not that great. It was very quiet there, because no one was in the place, business was very slow

Solid place in Santa Cruz for pizza! Pizza is good, but it’s also really cool that they have all those special deals on certain days. They have ayce pizza Tuesday’s/ayce pasta Wednesday’s, etc. which is worth the price especially for them broke college student wallets. From the outside, it’s an easy to miss, small place, but inside it’s bigger than it looks. My favorite from this place would be the Italian Sweet and Spicy which is pepperoni, jalapenos, and pineapples. The spiciness from the jalapenos and the sweetness from the pineapples go well together!

First time here but I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. After my appt, I decided to try it on our way home. Since Will was with me it was even better. Their lunch specials are good although adding $ 3 for a side salad is kinda pricey in my opinion. We should also mention you cant see the salads without ordering first and it was a risk Will wasnt going to take. I don’t blame him. It could’ve been smaller than a McDonald’s dollar salad. I ordered 2 slices of pesto. Will ordered pesto mushroom and a slice of combo. One thing I am not happy about… the ONLY non carbonated drink is hi-c poppin pink lemonade. No iced tea. Ugh. That lemonade doesn’t mesh well with my pizza flavors. I’m wondering why the drink machine has a sign on it stating it’s closed after 4pm. Are there that many homeless people coming in after 4? Interesting. Will ordered a center slice and was given an edge piece. They exchanged it no problem. He likes the music here(AC/DC) and we both recommend trying their food. The pizza is very tasty. This is not a 5 star place. So don’t come here expecting fabulous service. Expect to get your own napkins & such. It IS a homey and fun place to enjoy family & friends. :-)

Well, I would give it a 2 ½ if I could. This was overpriced for what we got: a pitcher of beer and a square pizza composed of 6 squares. In total, it was about $ 40.00?! The combo pizza wasn’t bad but didn’t care for the other ½ which was«Ham-apple». If I were to go back, I would just get a slice at happy hour. Nothing to write home about!

First I want to say this review is based mainly off trivia night and their pesto pasta. I got the Wednesday night special, which is all you can eat pasta for $ 9. You can chose between spaghetti or those misc. pasta with the pinwheels and other random shapes and your choice of sauce(pesto, cheese+butter, tomato or Alfredo.) I ordered the pesto spaghetti, and the food was so bad that I couldn’t even finish half of my plate. The sauce was very bland and very rich in nutrient. The garlic bread that came with it didn’t have much of a garlic flavor as well. Just the food alone I would give this place 1 star. Trivia, however made my experience a lot better. The host of the game was very nice– he offered a free pint of beer to the largest group that came back for another game night. Although the game was very slow paced– I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the honesty of the players.(Even though you can google the answers, people actually didn’t!)
