Waffles N Cream

The service was good however the ice cream is horrible. It was icy, not creamy. There ice cream selection is nothing great. We still ordered a banana split which looked wonderful, too bad it didn’t taste as good as it looked.

This place has such a great atmosphere. Very laid back, cool decorations. The food is great and fairly priced. I can’t wait to come back!

I love this place great service too highly recommend the «chicken spinach wrap» with an extra side of the chipotle sauce (trust me you’ll need it).

Yesterday was my first time eating here and I hope to come back at some point. The breakfast is fantastic and so are the juices. I can’t remember what it was called, but I had the waffle with fresh strawberries, cookies and cream ice cream, whipped cream, granola, and syrup. It was absolutely delicious. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that I think I should’ve chose vanilla ice cream instead of cookies and cream. I had a juice with apples, bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. It was very refreshing and I was sipping on a small size for over an hour. The service was really good and the atmosphere is quirky and fun. If you’re ever in Santa Fe Springs, I highly recommend checking out Waffles ‘N Cream.

I love this place! They have juices and waffles. They also have sandwiches and ice cream. They have quesadillas and fruit. The décor is electric and the music can be a bit loud at times. The service is ok so I can’t complain too much about that. Overall, it’s a very cool place in an area that’s lacking of trendy places.

The old owner sold Waffles and Cream and started a new place in Downey. It’s been steadily going down hill since then. I still enjoy the smoothies, and berry bowls, but the atmosphere is much weaker now. Nothing is priced on the walls either, what’s up with that.

This is by far the best food I have ever eaten. I got one of the special waffles and it was incredible I sent pictures of it to everyone. The owners are awesome and everything is made from scratch. Overall great service the place is super clean and the décor is amazing.

Came in and definitely a hole in wall. And looks sketchy. BUT I got strawberry dessert waffle with bubblegum ice cream and everything but the ice cream was good. There were unexpected gummy bears in the bubblegum ice cream. also the ice cream was too sweet. Next time I’ll get it with froyo. But the waffles are so warm and sweet and delicious. definitely recommend anything with a waffle. I will definitely go back for a breakfast sometime.

Place looks like a chill spot. When in during lunch fast service. Ordered the spinach chicken wrap & smoothie. Everything was perfect for my taste buds. Will be back for other stuff on the menu.

The waffles are okay. The smoothies are good. The horchata is blended horchata ice cream and milk. Eh. Not a «go to.»

This place WAS owned by a very nice man. I am almost positive he sold it because every time we have been in here the staff is different. First of all, I loved coming here because the employees were so clean (washed hands before handling your food) and now when I walk in I feel like I am being helped by Disrespectful high school student. It shouldn’t take 20 minutes to cut up some fruit and put it in a bowl, but since they like to talk amongst themselves and mess around then yes it takes forever to get even the easiest item on the menu! We used to be helped with courtesy and fast, quality service. I haven’t been in since our last encounter. Done with this place.

Awesome staff. Everyone is sweet and friendly. Love the vibe and the music! I’d come here for the delicious food alone but it’s wonderful for the whole environment to be chill and welcoming.
So much selection also with a lot of healthy options.

Service here is AMAZING!!! The customer service is unparalleled.
The vibes here are fast, friendly, top of the line service. The music is great and the joint is clean. The ladies smile, they laugh and know their products. I felt welcomed and enjoyed ordering my yummy ice cream.
I ended up getting the pistachio and strawberry on a waffle cone. Omg! I’m loving it.

Food is good, the reason for the 2 stars is because service was slow ave the wait was way too long and to make matters worse, their credit/​debit machine was down. NO SIGN POSTED OF «CASH ONLY». not my first time here but I definitely won’t be coming back anytime soon.
PS, I had to go next door to bank of america to withdrawal cash and I was charged their $ 3 service fee since I bank with a credit union. FML

They have horchata ice cream!
The waffles are wonderful. The drinks are tasty! They will make any type of waffle creation you want, with your choice of toppings if you don’t see something you like on the menu. I love that the fruit is fresh. Always a plus for me.
I noticed there were complaints about the wait time. But that’s the difference between fast food and an establishment that will make food when you order it. If you want pre-​made dessert, go to McDonalds or Starbucks where the pastries have been sitting out all day waiting for you.
I highly recommend this place if you have the craving for something sweet!

I tried the vanilla raspado based on a reviewers recommendation, but the milk was too syrupy and thick for my liking. It was like drinking condensed milk from the can. The place was a little dark and the employees were hanging out in the back so I actually had to get their attention for help. I did see really good fresh fruit and I might still be going back to try their chamango.

Out of Waffles!!!
That’s the name of your place and youre out of waffles? Yes but we have ice cream and blendies and fruity concoctions. If I wanted just ice cream, or blendies or fruity thingies I would’ve gone somewhere else. I specifically drove my ass over to a place called waffles and ice cream cuz I wanted waffles with ice cream. How can you be «out»?
Expecting that I would just buy whatever we instead left and will probably never go back cuz they didn’t seem to care that they were «Out» of the main thing that’s on there frickin sign!

Let’s start off with the bad, which may not even be a big deal to you: I don’t like anything about the décor, which is really just a mish mash of «art» and junk strewn about — it is painful to look at for someone as critical as me, which is why I rarely opt to stay for a meal. There are way too many eyesores and bad color choices of paint splashes on the wall for any of it to be considered charming. No idea why, but there aren’t any windows, and only only a few flourescent lights [the worst] around the place. There is so much stuff cluttering the place up which makes it feel dingier and a little too dark and claustrophobic for me… BUT, with that said, they do make great snacks, prepare everything fresh, and their juices are fab.
1. Bionicos — fresh sliced apples, melon, banana, strawberry with coco shavings, raisins, granola and a healthy serving of sweet cream. This is one of my favorite sweet treats on the planet and they definitely do it justice here at Waffles n Cream. A small container of the stuff will run you about $ 4.50.
2. Juices/​Jugos/​Licuados — all made to order with fresh ingredients. You’ll pay standard Mexican juice shop prices for a fresh vegetable/​fruit juice here and less than what you’d pay at your Nekters, Juice it ups, fancier juice bars, etc., but more than if you’re juicing at home, of course. If you don’t absolutely have to have organic produce, these are a good deal and always taste perfect.
3. Bionicos Waffle — The main reason for my most recent visit was news I received from my roommate of a «BIONICOS WAFFLE.» Right now they have a Unilocal check-​in offer for «$ 3 for any waffle!» I used that offer so hard and about 10 minutes later was presented with a big, fluffy waffle covered in my beloved sweet cream and all the bionicos fixings. I don’t know if this is standard for this menu item, but my waffle was orange in color because it was a pumpkin spice variety [hello fall, still hot as fuck outside, tho] and the cinnamon and other spices went so well with the bionicos! I haven’t had any of their other waffle varieties, but highly recommend this one!
Every time I visit I try my hardest to ignore the look of the place and just shut up and enjoy my bionicos or take it to go.
