This is so sad. .. this was one of my favorite places to eat in Santa Fe. Not a tourist trap, but a place that locals went. CLOSED. All the good ones are slowly fading into oblivion.

CLOSED… dammit! as of late March, 08 Classic. A one of a kind. The green chile cheeseburger is second to none or maybe one(Bobcat Bite) and the Chile Rellenos rock. One of the best parts about this place, which is smack dab in a residential neighborhood, are the usually eccentric looking and of course, acting locals. The best part about this place is that I dig it!

Chile Rellenos get five stars. I had the green in a combo plate with a chicken enchilada and a beef taco. The enchilada and taco were dull and boring. My wife had two red Chile Rellenos and she loved them. Next time I’ll get the red and she’ll get the green. We ate around 6:30pm Tonight(Thursday). It wasn’t crowded and service was acceptable.

I used to go to this place all the time, but it has fallen off recently(not sure why). Without a doubt a locals joint — there is zero chance you’ll find one of the typical stupid Texas tourists roaming around in here. The food is so-so, which is why I gave it a 3, but I wanted to give it more(just couldn’t bring myself to do it). Small atmosphere, cozy, but loud. Not sure why you would read this review, because if you live in Santa Fe you probably already know of this place, and if you don’t then you will probably never go here. And besides, dave isn’t even there ;)
