Awesome as I remember when they had a full kitchen! Their meatloaf and salads are still amazing…

Super delicious food! I especially love the fried green tomatoes and chicharron burrito. Awesome place to stop on the way to work in the morning for a tasty burrito for only 5 bucks! Customers can also call in their orders for pick up. If you haven’t tried DGMK, you’re missing out.

We stopped for lunch at this mobile restaurant and were delighted with everything we got. They grow their own vegetables and use grass-fed meat and boy does it show! My husband had the meat loaf on home baked bread and he loved it. I had just about the best burrito I’ve ever tasted! We’ll be returning for lunch again soon. They’re mostly take-out now. Hopefully they’ll have some inside space before the weather gets too cold. They’re right across from Newman’s Nursery south of Santa Fe.

Delicious! Desert Grows Mobile Kitchen is a full kitchen built into a large trailer and located in the storefront of an old gas station/lodge. The food is excellent and the owner/chef will tell you all about his farm, where he grows many of the ingredients he uses. His other ingredients are sourced as close to Santa Fe as possible, from other farmers and ranchers. Grass-fed meats, all breads baked in-house, flavorful salads, and a passion for the work make this a great little business, both for your belly and for the local community of Santa Fe. The dishes stand alone among other options as fresh, inventive, and infused with pride. All served in take-out boxes and ready fast! There’s even enough room for trucks and RVs to pull in for a quick bite :) The old lodge could use some renovations, but don’t let that deter you from checking out the great food at Desert Grows Mobile Kitchen.
