Make the Cut

I don’t often get my hair cut (about once a year) and get highlights even less often. After not having a stylist I liked for years, I went to Krista at their old location and thought she did a very good job and their prices were reasonable. I decided I wanted to get highlights, so I went to Beth at the new location. Despite not knowing how to really describe what I wanted, Beth was able to give me exactly what I was looking for.
She ask good questions to figure out what I wanted and ask if I wanted a trim. I ask if she thought I needed it an she looked at my hair and said it didn’t seem damaged, so no need for a cut. I appreciated the honesty, since she probably could have charged more if I had a cut as well.
The price was extremely reasonable, especially for Santa Fe. For highlights, Beth charged me well under $ 100 even with tax and tip.
The new location is in the main building of The Montecito (the old Rainbow Vision) and there is parking along the driveway circle in the front. The atmosphere was very nice and calm and since it is small, it doesn’t have the chemical smells of larger salons.
I am very happy with how my hair turned out and have definitely found a stylist to go to from now on.
