BESTFRENCHFRIESEVER!!! We ate here twice during our visit to Santa Fe and enjoyed both meals thoroughly. Friendly, professional service. Family atmosphere. Made us feel welcomed and special. Best part was(from a Mom perspective) my picky 14 years old loved his meal and so did I!

Amazing café with delicious food and drinks. The staff was more than friendly and the chef even came out and chatted with us. Beautiful location with such a historic feel that will leave you feeling replenished and ready to explore the rest of Santa Fe. I highly recommend this place!

Bustling little café the day I walked in. Great if you are ready to chill out and are not in a hurry. The staff was very friendly. Huevos rancheros: a little on the sloppy side for my taste, but decent flavors. The green chiles made this dish. I give this one 3 stars. Enchiladas with red sauce: the red sauce had great roasted chile flavor. I will be ordering this next time. I give this dish 4 stars.

This place is awesome! A Quaint little restaurant. Friedly staff that seem to know all the regulars. 12 tables inside and two outside. Most tables aee for two, but ciuld be moved together to seat 4 or 6. Off street parking. A must place to eat. Fresh, fresh, fresh!

Go somewhere else. Not much good compared to other alternatives around. Shocked at the outpouring of Unilocal greatness

Lovely, quiet place, a bit away(walking distance) from the hassle around the main plaza. Nice Mexican breakfast.

This was the best food and most hospitable place we went in Santa Fe. The room is beautiful, with warm colors and amazing art(yes, I know it’s a restaurant and not a museum). Our breakfasts were so delicious and obviously prepared with a lot of pride. I love to see an owner on premises, not a corporate environment. These people really care if you come in and leave happy. The lunch menu looked good too… but I thought twice in one day would be a little ridiculous. Walk a block off the square and treat yourself!

Staying at La Posada, the concierge recommended this place because the owner was a former employee. Its a cute little place right down the road. Run by a man and his wife who couldn’t be nicer. Food was fresh and delicious. veggie omelet was delighftul Great for kids. Great place!

I don’t think I’ve ever used this expression before but this place knocked my socks off. Hands down the best veggie burrito I’ve ever had. I wanted to get the recipe or bring the chef home to LA so I can eat it again. And the flan! Not too sweet and dreamily creamy and delicious. I will be dreaming of this place and sad it’s not closer to me.

I grew up in Santa Fe live in AZ now. Every time I come back to visit everyone knows to go to all the«regular» go to places. But those places have changed and don’t taste as authentic as they used to. The chile here is authentic! It’s hot and spicy! Everything tasted delicious. This place small in size but big in taste! This place will be my «regular go to» whenever I’m back in Santa Fe visiting.

Small, cozy, family run, very good tasting food. We both had the Huevos Rancheros one with green chili, one with red chili. They had green chili as a lunch offering so we asked for a taste trying to decide if we wanted to order some to go. It was delicious and we did take some for the road. Although we arrived a few minutes before 11 we did not order lunch, except for the to go order of beef green chili stew. If we are ever in the area we will definitely come back at lunchtime is they have some very interesting menu options for lunch.

Best breakfast burrito on Earth. Best green chili stew I have ever had. This unassuming café a few blocks from the Plaza totally delivers. It is cozy and has welcoming staff who truly care about delivering great food and great experiences. I will never pass through Santa Fe without eating here.

Small place, with wonderful service. Felt very mom & pop. The food is not bad at all, I just didn’t feel like it was any different from the standard Mexican food experience in my home state of Indiana. I was expecting more in the Southwest. Certainly fine for a stop if you’re hungry, in the area & not looking for much different that what you may get at a chain. The portions are plentiful, and the prices are fair.

Would love to show you the«Palacio breakfast» with fresh fluffy pancakes(add on) perfectly cooked eggs and bacon so crispy I didn’t even need to trim the fat. But as you can see, I ate it all! My wife says she had the best mocha ever. She also loved her veggie omelette. Perfect location for stopping by after a long run or bike ride up the canyon. Outdoor seating with a bit of sunshine in the AM.

The menu had really delicious sandwiches and food on the menu. Unfortunately we decided to visit on a Sunday during Lent. That meant no meat for us. We were highly disappointed, but we made the best of it. We all had the tomato and mozzarella panini. I believe it is called a Tom Mot. The sandwich was good and everything tasted fresh. We still drooled over the other lunches that included the Taos. The restaurant itself is small, but on good days you can sit outside. We sat outside since we were a large group of 3. Seriously, larger groups will not fit in the restaurant. Outside you can arrange larger groups. Service was quick and friendly even for sitting outside. Drinks were topped off, but soda comes in a can so once gone that is it. I will be back to this restaurant to try the meatier sandwiches available.

We had breakfast, it was solid, nothing to write home about, though. The restaurant is run by a family, it’s got a patio and a good indoor space. You get good mexican food — I had huevos rancheros which was good — be aware when they say the sauce is spicy, it actually is spice — and my cousin had the burrito. The burrito was a much bigger success than the huevos rancheros. Whatever you do, though, try the homemade flan. It was so good. Worth going there for just the flan.

We both had the Steak tacos, Spanish rice and beans — all tasty! Huevos Rancheros served during breakfast hours only, so we didn’t get to try it. We shared a homemade flan for dessert — also very good. Small dining room plus a few tables on the sidewalk patio. Very crowded when we walked inside and we grabbed a table as another couple stood up to leave. We ordered at the counter and much later our food arrived, after we asked the counter about it. Probably not typical of their service, though. Parking is limited to wherever you can find a metered spot — this is downtown. The closest parking garage is quite a distance away, and when we were about to turn in we discovered it was full today(Saturday mid-afternoon) Parking tip: Metered parking — some streets take credit cards, others are quarters only 0.25 per 15 minutes.

This is a must ‘eat at’ café if you are in Santa Fe. The Huevos Rancheros was outstanding in flavor was over 2 corn tortillas & came with a warm four tortilla that I couldn’t stop eating. My husband ordered the Smothered Breakfast Burrito which would feed a family of four! Their coffee comes in generous mugs & was very good. This is a mom & pop café. Our server was their son who was sweet, & mom was helping serve. Dad is normally the chef, but was helping serve & his brother was today’s chef. They were so busy, & the tables stayed full with customers. We will be back!
