Great authentic food! Hot sauce and pepper bar. I had the street tacos, I should have ordered 3!

Absolutely love it here! The torta and carne asada burritos/tacos are the way to go. Menudo and taquitos are also very good. Inexpensive, great flavors, and authentic. Service was awesome and had my meal out fast. Family owned restaurant that will never get old!

This place was very delicious! Yummy drinks and a terrific chimichanga. Salsa and chips to stay that were very tasty, 3 dips to choose from. Hated to let my plate go, but to much to hold :)

I have been reviewing Mexican food from Oregon through California, Arizona and New Mexico. This place is a solid number 2. The food here is outstanding! This place is better than Felipe’s. I cannot give it 5 stars due to décor and a lack of a good tomato based salsa. I would easily give it 4.5 stars if I could. So let’s start with the food: The have traditional Mexican waters: lime, hibiscus and horchada, as well as Mexican soft drinks and a soda fountain. Order chips and indulge at the salsa cart. Yes I said cart. They have a wide selection. Six different salsas plus other additives such as onions, limes, pepper, etc. See the photo. One of the salsas is a creamy avocado. Great taste and very mild. They also have three green salsas and a killer red. I just wish they had a salsa fresca(tomato, onion garlic and peppers) and sliced jalapenos. I ordered the pastor tacos. The pastor tacos come plain so you can add whatever you like. I added some lime juice, mild green sauce, cilantro, onion and salt. They were nearly the best I have ever had. There is only one place, in Carpenteria, CA that has better. I was happy. My son, a big eater, ordered chicken tacos and a burrito. The chicken tacos come with cabbage and cheese so be aware. I tasted the chicken and burrito. The beans were very flavorful and the chicken is really good. So good that we came back a second time to order the grilled chicken dinner and some asada tacos. The chicken dinner is served with rice, beans and avocado slices on a small salad. Each item is a delight. The chicken is marinated overnight and filled with glorious favors. It is sweet and tender. It nearly melts in your mouth. The asada is also well marinated and flavorful. I will come here again and again! Forget the run down look of the strip mall it’s located in. The staff is friendly and the interior is lively. Yes bright colors but it’s fun. You have to try this place. You will not be disappointed in the food.

It’s Christmas, almost everything is closed, it is cold outside and we are not from here. We saw the open sign and drove here, after all day snowboarding we are tired, cold and hungry. I ordered the menudo, It was sooo good ! Good street tacos, good enchiladas. The staff was friendly, prices ok . Definitely will be eating here again !

Very good mexican street tacos. Lengua, barbacoa and about 5 others. The salsa bar has 5 – 6 very fresh and nice salsa’s as well as pickled pinion, cilantro and onion, limes, roasted jalapeños, etc. They also have a selection of drinks from hortchata to pineapple to watermelon plus some cold cervezas. I ate here to lunches in a row!

Way better than most mexican. My highest rating yet for mexican. It a small joint with spanish only menu. Have a chili and salsa bar for the fixins to your tacos etc. had delicious tacos. To the person who said typical mexican and gave one star, when was the last time a typical mexican joint had tongue, stomach and other non typical meats? Did you review the correct restaurant? Check the address.

Holy crap this place is good. I live most of the time in Colorado, where the food is typically bent towards«tex mex». Beans, rice, cheese. ick. This menu was not in English, fresca, horchata on the counter, and the most delicious tacos. I had carnitas(what else?) and it was perfectly moist, stringy and really really good. Just a little cilantro, onion and pico to give it flavor. Plus, the salsa bar had lots of things to try. Everything from mild to tongue burning off. I only tried the tacos, so I have no experience with the other food, but I loved the delicious simple authentic style. Yum!

I go here for lunch about once a week. Horchata, great. They have a dark almost black chrarred guajillo salsa which I am addicted to. If you prefer Mexican over New Mexican, this place kicks ass…

Not worth it. Traditional Mexican food, the torta relleno was terrible. Too much bread and fries, not really much else. The chicken fajitas are pretty good, but overpriced. Better than the KFC next door, but worth a drive someplace else.

First, I understand that they changed owners several months ago, so I believe the name is now«Tacos Adelitas» or something similar but the menu and the restaurant remained pretty much identical, just the sign out front was changed. One comes here for authentic Mexican tacos of many varieties. Very cheap. You are free to mix-and-match different kinds of tacos. There is a large toppings bar to decorate your soft corn tortilla tacos with various delicious ornaments at, just like in Mexico. They sell various Mexican beers and horchata. They have a big TV often showing Mexican soccer games and the place seems to be popular with the local Mexican immigrant community. Tacos de carne asada is a good choice if you are unfamiliar with truly Mexican tacos. If you are truly adventurous you can try tripas(fried intestines). Anyways, they have many different options. I ate here countless times and was never disappointed. During the World Cup in South Africa I found this to be a good place to come and watch the games while munching on tacos and beer. Another plus, they sell real Mexican Coca-Cola(in a glass bottle, uses cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, tastes much better…) But you need to ask for«coca-cola de botella». They also have conventional soft drinks from a machine using the standard syrups.

«You been here before»? «No» “I do MEXICAN Tacos. I don’t do beans. I don’t do rice. My menu’s not in English. The Tacos Carbon are my specialty“ Heaven!
