Haven’t been to chili’s since 20 something years ago, went the other night and just as bad as I remember. Fried asparagus was way too greasy, plate soaked in oil. Soup came out luke warm. Shrimp fajitas, I knew something was wrong with them, tasted slimy and after the fact i was right, they weren’t done. Puked all day. The best thing about meal were our cocktails and the blueberry crumble with ice cream. Never going back. But if you want to lose 5 lbs and get a good Ab workout, order the shrimp fajitas.

What a disappointment! Went in for late lunch. Terrible service; slow, sat a bar; inattentive. Few people in bar area so not busy. ordered sandwich and chili. Requested no tomato due to allergy but sandwich delivered WITH tomato. Told bartender who seemed totally unfazed and muttered oops! Took no action or asked if I wanted a new sandwich. Chili was delivered at cold temperature. Sandwich was basically dry bread. I noticed that bartender did the same with new customers in taking a long time to take drink or food orders despite not being busy. We were customers of the first Chili’s on Greenville Ave in Dallas. The Lavine brothers(founders) must be mortified at what their Chili’s has become — a totally subpar pedestrian chain restaurant. Do not waste your time or money with this eatery.

Wife and I had lunch there today. We both enjoyed the food and service was fine too. Usually my chilis experiences end up with me being irritated with the lack of service but this visit was pleasant. Better than the chilis in Espanola NM.

Very mixed reviews on this Chili’s. When I dined in for lunch the waitress could not have been more quick, friendly and helpful! However the 2 times I’ve ordered To Go, the girl taking orders is rude and doesn’t listen to the order. It takes such effort until she finally gets it right. Then when I go in to get it, they carefully watch for your tip amount before they go get your food. That’s very unprofessional and it happened both times. They literally look right at the tip before they go to get your food — after rude service on the phone. This time, when I picked up my food and checked it, the fries and ranch were missing. Just super shabby service. Last time, the fries were so old I just tossed them. Too stale and soggy to eat. This was my last visit. First time shame on you, second time shame on me. There won’t be a third. From the looks of their reviews, they need all the customers they can get too.

This review is only getting two stars because I mean, we went to Chili’s, what do you expect? The entrees and the appetizers came out at the same time, and our salads took the longest, about 30 minutes. Everything was barely warm. The waitstaff forgot half of our refills and then begged for a good review so they could get more hours. Nope.

First time at a Chili’s. Expensive for a chain restaurant. No bar to sit in while waiting for a table. They have a good menu, good selection of Margaritas with top shelf tequila. My steak was OK. They explain to patrons the difference in how you may have your steak cooked. The service part is well structured with good intent but needs work. The problem seems to be in the coordination of the kitchen. All the food was over salted. What is cool is paying at the table with out having to find your waiter. One time experience of Chili’s is enough for me.

I be given this restaurant two tries and hope I just can’t give it a third. It’s dirty and unorganized the service is good but the food is gross. The food is not good at all is either too cooked or cold and it’s just not good. The tables are always dirty and floors.

I’ve now given this restaurant two chances and it won’t get a third. I’ve read the other reviews and many say that service is terrible, and I think a large part of the issue is that the kitchen is VERYSLOW and there is not enough wait staff including people to clear. We arrived at 12:30 on a weekday, got seated immediately, and it was 45 minutes after ordering before our waitress told us our order was next up in the kitchen; not acceptable for enchiladas and a burger. The food is just ok, not close to a par with other food selections in Santa Fe, and it is not very appetizing to eat meh food surrounded by tables piled high with dirty dishes and food left by diners who recently escaped. The Brinker restaurant concept, which works so well in Texas(where staffing and kitchen speed is not an issue), is not working well here, and I think three months is enough time to figure things out.

This past winter I ate in a Chili’s in Oklahoma & it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. When Chili’s first started it was very good – that was a long time ago. We now have one in Santa Fe, NM so with some free coupons I decided to go. It was not good. Everything was prepackaged requiring not much more prep than a deep fryer or a microwave & the wine was sweet(chardonnay). Service was alright. I don’t expect anything to improve since it is basically fast food & has been like this for a long time. I guess there are enough out there that don’t mind.

Food was ok. service extremely poor. Got our food 45 to 50 mins. after ordering. Waiter was nice like he couldn’t speed things up. Will not be returning.

We ordered the special two dinners for $ 20, a good value. You share an appetizer and then have your choice of main meal. We each had the sirloin steak with asparagus and French fries. It was odd — the asparagus was quite oily and tasted like the steak which tasted like the French fries. I don’t know how they all got doused with the same flavor unless it was the oil. Plenty of food. Noisy, too, but seemed popular. I might go back to try a burger which looked good as they were delivered to another table, but Santa Fe has so many great restaurants that I don’t think I would be a regular here. Service was fine. We explored the computer that you pay with on your table, and the waitress kindly came over and offered to take the payment on her computer, but we were playing with options. Yes, do notice that the tip is set automatically at 20%. You have control but have to change it.

We arrived at Chili’s on Thursday about 2 in the afternoon, place was fairly busy. We placed our order for drinks, and they arrived about ten minutes later. By then we were ready to order our meal. Wife and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger which comes with fries. Meal was served promptly, and was very good. Enjoyed it, and will be back to try other meals.

Been twice now since opening. 1st time, server«forgot» to enter my order, then brought me chicken fajitas instead of carnitas. 2nd time was yesterday(1÷9÷16), Waited 10 min then saw about 15 – 20 empty tables, so why the wait… Again, server got my order wrong. This is twice I’ve had to wait while everyone else eats. I do like the dinner & drinks for 2. Great price @ $ 35.

Terrible service. Got there with my parents around 8:40 and the host wanted to sit us at the bar. When we ordered drinks and an appetizer they said that they didn’t have chips anymore. Really bad costumer service never had this at Chillis before.

The food was horrible! It took 20 minutes after our food was delivered for my mom to get her house salad. The lettuce was wilted. She had to watch us eat. It took a total of an hour for our food. The waitress did not bring our food or come to check and see if we needed anything. My daughters cheese quesadilla had grease dripping out of it. Justin the general manager was very rude. We watched him talk badly about us to the waitress. When I mentioned it to the waitress she said that he was being very rude and she was sorry he felt the need to speak to customers in that way. Needless to say my daughter left hungry. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

I know Chilis is a good old stand-by restaurant but this time it disappointed. Absolutely horrible service. Nice young man but obviously clueless about how to manage a busy bar area. It’s possible he was in training but his trainer should’ve taken over seeing as the place was packed and people were obviously waiting to be served. The beer was cold and good but the nachos disappointing. I hope they aren’t losing their touch.

For opening night, the staff worked really well together, and we’re very accommodating when I wanted a different drink. They brought us to our table and have us drinks and food in a timely fashion, despite it being their opening day and there being a raging blizzard outside, tracking water throughout the restaurant, which they kept dry. All in all, I will be back.

Very new and needs much more time to train the kitchen staff. Food wasn’t cooked right and out of many popular items on a Monday night. First steak was over cooked and second steak had a funky taste. Fries tasted fishy too. Staff was great though. Will try again in a few months if they’re still open.
