Food is excellent and the atmosphere totally Santa Fe. Their green chili stew is unique as it uses a tomato base and has wonderful flavor. Expect great service and definitely hang out in the patio.

We went to this restaurant on May 31 after searching Unilocal reviews and the Internet looking for a good steak restaurant in Santa Fe. We weren’t disappointed. The young lady the great us at the door was helpful friendly and agave us a very nice table. The restaurant was not busy. Very beautifully decorated. The steak was very good. Very different from what I would very find any place I have traveled. It was a little over cooked. This is the only reason I did not give the restaurant 5 stars. I would recommend this restaurant to a visitor in the Santa Fe downtown area.

It’s the first time my wife and I have been to Santa Fe and The Pink Adobe was on a recommendation of the B&B we were staying at. All I can say is it was one of my favorite meals while we were in Santa Fe. The ambience and service were fantastic. My wife had lobster salad which was incredible and I had a shrimp etouffe which was outstanding. When we go back to Santa Fe, we will be definitely be going back to this restaurant.

My wife and I were visiting Santa Fe and wanted to have a romantic night out. Her only requirement was she wanted some seafood. As you probably know, seafood is not the most common restaurant in the Southwest. We found Pink Adobe on Unilocal and gave it a try. Alright, I’ll get started with the reason why this place gets 5 stars: Diablo Clams. Actually it’s not even the clams, it’s the wonderful broth they come in. It is spicy mixed with creamy mixed with so many delightful flavors. I used the free bread to soak up as much of it as I could and then just used my spoon. We also got the seafood enchiladas(very very good) and the poblano rellenos(get the shrimp, I got both and was not a fan of the nutty one). Oh, we also sat next to a lovely real wood fire. Only thing that could make it better is more draught beer, but they had some decent bottles. Definitely worth a visit!

We had eaten here 2 years ago and loved it so we were excited to come back. We ordered the salmon and it was dry and tasteless. To be fair, the appetizers and the dessert were fine… just don’t order the salmon!

Low quality food that is totally over prized. What a disappointment. We will never done here again.

Stopped in today while in Santa Fe… met LaDonna who was delightful, warm and inviting… Last time I was here was in 1982… it is still as charming, eclectic and wonderful as I remember… Start with a cocktail in the bar and dine in the charm of the restaurant with Rosalies«original» recipes… a bit off the main stream but WELLWORTH seeking it out for a truly memorable experience!

So this is not so much of a review as an homage. I know nothing of the current restaurant, although judging from the reviews here, I would like to return. I ate at The Pink Adobe only once in 1979, on a family trip to Santa Fe. I was 15. I recognize this is a bit odd, coming 37 years later – a time long before the internet, let alone Unilocal!– but this was probably the most formative meal of my life. I remember each of my three dishes perfectly. I started with a brilliant onion soup(no longer served, from what I can see on the current menu); then tornadoes of beef and finally a rum apple pie. A simple set of courses, all beautifully served and offered in a refined, quiet setting. Every course was a new experience of flavors, even though I had had these dishes in one form or another before. It was that night that I realized what a joy dining can be: good food, good settings, good company(my parents are still reasonably charming). In the 37 years that have followed, I have eaten at some amazing restaurants – one or two I have reviewed here – but that meal is still the ideal by which I measure others. I may be remembering The Pink Adobe slightly with rose-colored glasses, but thank you for the experience.

So I made a reservation because it seemed like a place that got busy, and then there was almost no one there, but hey it never hurts to have a reservation. I guess Tuesday night in February is not when people come here. I thought it was really tasty. My mom and I both go the Fire Roasted Poblano Chiles — and they were so good. The combination of Montranet cheese and walnut, although unexpected was perfect. And the peppers themselves were extremely flavorful. Really delicious green Chile and red chile sauce. Love that it comes with Pozole. Plenty of food. We also got green chile stew for starters which was tasty as well. It’s very eclectic inside, but that’s something I like. Lots of different rooms with fireplaces and things. I guess it was kinda expensive? Not that bad though.

Liz and her staff at The Pink Adobe went above and beyond to host our dinner group of 38 people in their cozy private dining area. Not only was the service fantastic, but so was the food! They were incredibly accommodating of all of our requests to set up the room for the presentation we had and they made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend The Pink Adobe for a special occasion that leaves guests feeling welcomed and well fed!

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is for the margaritas. However if you don’t watch your check they will overcharge for them. The food was bland, I don’t require much seasoning, however salt and pepper should at least be a staple. Don’t ask for the bland green chili sauce to be left off either. They do not cut anything from their menu.

Restaurant and Bar are both great. Locals love it. I had the house steak special«Steak Dunnigan». 10 oz ribeye was perfectly grilled medium rare. Ambiance is old Santa Fe. It’s right around the corner from Five Graces Hotel. $$$ but worth it!

This was my best meal in Santa Fe this weekend and I especially appreciate that they treated a solo diner just as they would any other party. I never felt rushed or in the way.

/Guadalupe at Pink Adobe for brunch. Out of this world! The crab cake eggs Benedict with chili hallondase was beyond words. My father had the seafood enchiladas and we fought back and forth, it was so hard to choose. Try the gypsy soup as a warmup. I liked the red chili better than the green but both were excellent. Mom had the lobster salad which was fresh, generous and beautiful; but I’d ask for the dressing in the side next time. I’m shocked that there was no wait. 10 out of 10.

Came back, this time with four pups in tow. My family grew by one pup and we subtracted a husband, so it evens out I suppose. Had to come for brunch and I just adore their cute courtyard! It’s romantic, very much what I think of when I think of Santa Fe and just perfect for a sunny afternoon break. After a good walk around town we stopped in for a bit of a nosh. Had the green chili — yum ! Forgot how good it was here! I love it– it’s delicious! It’s got a smokiness to it, just spicy enough and this time it didn’t have potatoes! The staff was super attentive and brought the dogs water and accommodated us. They were so nice! I really appreciated the attentiveness of the service. Split a sopapilla with beef and it came with hominy and beans on the side. It was great– had a beverage and a lovely time, great ambiance, soft music and quirky regulars that want to chat. Perfect little place for lunch! A must visit when you’re in town!

I should have listened to my friend Mike W. This place was totally 3 star, but it came with such glowing recommendations. We made a reservation here and unlike other places, had no problem getting a reservation. We showed up, on time, for our reservation after walking their in a light rain. I was disappointed when they sat us in the front room in the corner in main traffic flow. It was like being seated in the lobby. My husband’s chair got hit every time people walked through the door to the main dining room. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive. I had the crab cakes appetizer as my meal and I enjoyed it. My husband thought his pork was very so-so and not something he would get again. We shared the chocolate mousse which was pretty good. I don’t think the price of the food is commensurate with the quality of the food. Next time we’re in Santa Fe, we’ll be skipping this place. And once again, management: If someone makes a reservation, don’t give them the worst table in the restaurant.

Wow what a fun dining experience! The food, margaritas, and service was amazing. Our server was Roberto and he was very friendly and prompt. We all shared the Trio dip and chips — wonderful cheese sauce and guacamole. We all had either pink or black dragon margaritas and wow! The drinks are strong and very tasty! My mom and I had the chicken enchiladas and they were very good — a lot of flavor! I’m glad we choose to eat here on our first night in Santa Fe. I highly recommend this place.

This has been a favorite spot for the past few visits to Santa Fe, and this year was nothing different. I love the story/history of this restaurant and the great ambiance adds to the coziness of this restaurant. The steak dunigan was probably the best steak I’ve ever had and so was the apple pie with ice cream. My husband got the burrito with the lobster bisque topping(so good), and my mother had the salmon(very good as well!). This will always be a top recommendation for a great restaurant in Santa Fe!

We ordered the trio with salsa queso and quac, the salsa was okay and the other two was pretty good. I ordered the mexican platter the one with the combo. The red chile wasn’t that good, I would suggest to get the green chille. Everything was small portions, they put a lot of sauce so it makes it look like its a lot. The tacos were okay too. Better than the enchilada though. Overall the food was alright, it sure wasn’t worth the prices. They give you free bread though.
