Amazing food. Good portions. Clean place. Good service. There’s not much more to say. I was visiting with friends from Texas and we were looking for something quick, delicious and cheap but that was also going to hold us over for the drive back. This place met all of our needs. Easily five stars.

I thought this place was pretty good overall. I choose this place based on an episode of the food network and thought that it really looked good. I’m going to give this a thorough review and delve into the overall rating. Parking lot was vast and had an attendant directing traffic. The building is in a historic part of Santa Fe and the businesses are close by. The restaurant itself is pretty big as well. I was seated right away. The place was hoping and people looked like they were really enjoying themselves. My waitress was extremely nice and gave me her recommendation. The menu was loaded with many variations and specials as well. The drink menu offered plenty of options-the waitress was great in her recommendation of a marg. I went with one that was a middle price point. I was happy that they have a fresh marg on the rocks and can actually get the order right when I say no salt. I chose to eat a combo plate that had a chili rellano with green chili, blue corn chicken enchilada with red sauce, a taco and rice and beans. The taco was my favorite, the shell was made there and had a great crispness to it. The beef was seasoned well and the toppings were cold and fresh. The rice was Spanish rice and extremely moist(ha! Moist) but I prefer non-Spanish rice. The decried beans had flavor and a ton of cheese(can’t go wrong there). The enchilada was better than the rellano and I preferred the red sauce to the green. I’m use to pork green chili and think this was vegetarian-not bad but not my fav. I was a fan of the enchilada but the red sauce didn’t impress me too much. I did however love the guacamole-if I go back, I’ll find something with guac and not pay extra for a small amount. 3 stars because I wasn’t blown away with flavor. Very solid food though and I would recommend but I personally would get tacos or something with guac. I also have always been accustomed to free chips and salsa and I think that’s not a Santa Fe thing.
