4÷10÷16 My father and I had a great shopping experience at Carr’s today! I needed a dinner jacket, white shirt and black wranglers. Arolonda… I believe that was her name… took one look up and down at me and Bam! Bam! First choice on a jacket and shirt was a spot on perfect fit. She guessed my pants size and was pretty darn close as well. Her co-workers treated my 86 year old father with respect and listened to him as he explained his requirements, he has a colonoscopy bag, for blue jeans and within two fittings had two pair that he liked. They were all nice, respectful, professional and fun to work with. I have been a customer off and on at Carr’s for many years purchasing cowboy hats, shirts, jeans, boots for both work and leisure ware and even had some soles replaced on my UGG boots and work boots. Every time I had top knotch customer service. I highly recommend stopping buy there for you Western ware and work ware needs.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They will NEVER have my business again! I had a terrible experience 2 years ago when I went to purchase boots that I needed for job I was doing outdoors. I stressed that I wanted a boot that was good for working in and around mud/water but was EH rated for my everyday electrical work. The guy sold me a cheap pair of boots that ended up popping in the seams less then a week after I purchased them. I was assured they were great boots like everything else he sold but better for someone on a budget. When I returned them I then got an attitude and comments like«well of coarse, you get what you pay for.» I would have taken my money and gone elsewhere but I was stuck exchanging them, so I went for a pair of wolverines. I just recently went in to buy a pair of $ 250+ work boots and interacted with the same guy who sold me boots before. I believe this guy is the owner John Carr, and if that is the case I am BLOWNAWAY this place is still in business. He is a slimy old salesman who has no concept of what customer service is. When I went in to purchase this last time, I waited for him to finish up flirting with the 3 girls working at the counter before I could get his help and even then he helped another family who walked in after I did because his conversation was so important he must not have noticed me walk in. When he went to get me a price he again engaged in a very inappropriate conversation with the same girls right in front of me. While we waited I asked him about honoring a discount that this particular brand offered to union members. He played dumb acting like he couldn’t understand what I was asking him. I repeated and broke down what I was asking 3 different times in which he finally replied«oh I have no idea if these guys offer anything like that, but we love the unions.» He walked away to help someone else and said nothing to me. Once I received a price I began to leave and he told me they were having a sale soon and to check back. Side note, the customer he helped when he walked away from me was a hispanic gentleman who wanted to try on a pair of boots he walked up with. He was asking for a specific size in broken english, yet I was clearly able to understand what he wanted. This guy starts talking down to him in a very condescending way asking«did you want that size in US or European?. Why on earth would you ever ask that? I have purchased many pairs of shoes and NOONE has ever asked that question including this salesman. I began to do some research because I didn’t feel like he cared at all about helping me out. Now both times I came in I stressed I wanted EH rated shoes specifically ones with composite toes NOTSTEEL. Steel toes can still receive an EH rating but if a brand offers the same shoe in a composite why bother? The shoes he attempting to sell me were steel toe so I looked up the wolverines I purchased 2 years ago, BIGSHOCKER they were as well. I have never dealt with someone with such blatant disregard for their customer. Besides the fact that this guy is obviously inappropriate with his female employees that are at least half his age, he attempts to make you feel like your asking him questions no one has ever asked before if you are inquiring about a price match or discount. I love to support local businesses but when they are $ 80 more and would have to wait 6 weeks for my size, I have no choice but to go direct to the manufacturer. I feel bad for all the employees who have to work with this washed up joke of a sales person. Don’t be surprised when you hear about a sexual harassment case or a going out of business sign posted up because this guy has chased all their customers away.

I went in to get the heel on boots lowered and I was helped with wonderful friendly customer service, and my boots were all ready to go in just two days. The lowered heel feels amazing and it was only $ 25! Definitely my favorite boot place

Great local business! I bought a pair of boots that were the exact same price as Boot Barn. Great competitive pricing. However, I had my older pair of boots repaired for very cheap. Best price around! The staff is very friendly and eager to assist. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the staff likes to follow you around and ask if you need help to often as if they feel you are going to steal something or touch things you shouldn’t. I felt as if I was in a museum and not a western wear clothing store. Never the less, I highly recommend!

Carrs boots is the best shoe repair in the county. They are very customer oriented and do excellent work. And, they will work on everything, unlike some of their competitors. Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this store

Fantastic shop! Great staff, great products, and reasonable prices. This is a great place to check out if you’re in the market for clothing and boots that will keep up with real work or just look good while wandering around. If you’re new to the shop… I’d suggest mapping it first… the tiny strip mall in which it’s located is something you have to be looking for to find.

Hands down one of the best Boot shops in the state. The store has been there forever. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable and occasionally have really great deals. One of the last great family owned business you will come back to again and again.
