Ordered online for takeout. Got home and didn’t get all our side dishes. I called in and was told to return to the store, my food was already 10 minutes cold, so they got over on me. The food that we got was good. But buyer beware.

Food would be better if it was hot. Everything was lukewarm at best. Bathroom was probably the worst I’ve ever seen at a food establishment. I’ve seen cleaner restrooms at gas stations. Not even paper towels in the holder so you’re left with wet hands or at the mercy of a seat cover. Yuck. Hard for a customer to envision that the kitchen could be clean and kept with a restroom so beyond neglected. Serve hot food and bleach that bathroom… maybe I’ll try again in the future.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Dickey’s. Food was as told, excellent. Was hard to order, clues for clueless nowhere to be found and had to rely on other customers for help, seemed to bother people working there. Mac and cheese, sweet tea, all on point as well. Work on new customer skills but food will keep us coming back.

Pretty good spot. If you looking for a quick meal but filling to the bully check this place out. The staff can be a little weird but it’s cool. Ha.

2 stars for friendly service. Unfortunately, our brisket sandwiches were tasteless. No salt/seasoning at all, plus the buns were soggy. We were really looking forward to some great brisket. Sad that it wasn’t at Dickeys.

Food tastes pretty good. I have to say meat is, some times, DRY. But over all good tasting food at reasonable price. Workers are 50⁄50(sometimes friendly or you get somebody who doesn’t give a c*#@ about you. They mostly work behind the counter which means I haven’t seen them clean whenever i was there and it looks like the place needs to be cleaned little more often. Door handle is sticky, beat up table cloth is sticky and highchairs are sticky… you get my point.

Overall pretty good. The only thing lacking was the sides. Mac n cheese was soggy and overlooked and so were the green beans. Ribs and brisket were fab!

We placed an online order, 2 meat plate which we chose ribs and sliced brisket with baked potato casserole and beans. When we arrived to pick it up it was ready and bagged. The gal behind the counter offered me a slice of key lime pie for only $ 2 more. When we got home I realized most of our order was wrong. We got ribs, chopped brisket not the sliced we ordered and potato casserole but no beans, to make matters worse the key lime pie was actually lemon meringue. The food here is tasty but the person who put the order together ruined the experience for us.

We had the dinner for 4 with Brisket, beens and mac and cheese. We loved every bite of it. You have to get the fresh baked rolls as well! The customer service was amazing and the online ordering was easy to navigate. I would highly recommend trying them out!

WORSTCATERINGEXPERIENCEEVER!!! Hired Dickie’s for our Christmas Party. Met with the manager. Three time to confirm 1:our order 2: we’re concerned about keeping the food warm and she told us that she would send stereo chafing dishes 3: wanted it fully served not just drop and dash The day of our party three showed up in dirty Dickie’s t-shirts with no stereo no chafing dishes. Said our counter was too wide to serve across so they left the food on a cold granite counter and left. When it came time to eat everything was stone cold, that means the Mac and cheese was a clotted mess. Called the manager that night and told her(she called back well after dinner) the situation she said«what can I do to make it up to you?» I said you can give me my money back and she agreed to credit mu card back. By Wednesday nothing so I called, and she said she didn’t know how to do that so the next day I went in with my credit card and she said she wouldn’t credit the card but would have to pay out of her own pocket and would have the money Saturday. Got a call Friday night from«George from Dickie’s» who told me that wasn’t going to happen either. So my total experience consisted of paying for a catered service which they didn’t do, and food that was stone cold. IFYOUWANT A NICECATEREDPARTYGOELSEWHERE!

I used to like this place but it has gone downhill. The restaurant was filthy. Nothing was covered up completely and the covers to the food were dirty. I wrote a complaint to the company and all I received was a coupon for a free drink. They can keep the coupon, I won’t be back.

Ordered the brisket and BBQ chicken last night with cole slaw and crispy onion rings. It came with the dinner roll. I also got a big yellow cup full of sweet tea. The only food that was enjoyable out of the entire list were the onion rings(hard to mess that up…) and the sweet tea. The brisket was off the shoulder and dry and the chicken tasted pretty standard. Thank goodness for the regular and spicy BBQ they have to self serve. The dinner roll tastes like soft, gooey, empty carbs. Throw some butter on it and you’re in unhealthy heaven. This is the only BBQ place I’ve tried since living in SM but I will definitely keep my options open next time I’m craving the Cue

I give it a three because the food was very good it’s just the service and the lack of cleanliness is what makes it bad. But I had the brisket and my wife had the turkey and both were good. Just wish the staff took more pride in taking care of the resturant.

If you are a fan of overpriced mediocre fast food, then Dickey’s is the place for you. Tonight is the third and LAST time I ever eat at this terrible place. The staff is grossly incompetent, as though they just walked in the door 5 minutes before I arrived, and are now preparing food and mishandling a cash register with ZERO training. The food is aweful, I’ve had much, much better TV dinners, and I HATETV dinners. The meat is horribly dry and the sides are just as bad. My wife thought she was getting BBQ chicken, instead she got some dry sliced up mystery meat that looked more like pork. You would have to PAYME to eat this aweful food, I can onlu hope I get sick so that it escapes my body faster than what it would take to normally digest.

The pin on Unilocal wasn’t at the right place so it was a bit annoying to find. However the search was worth it. Great ribs, Mac and cheese, and beans. Glad I found the place. Good food at a good price. I certainly recommend it.

Not a fan. Ordered the Brisket & pulled pork sandwich with mac n cheese. The pulled pork was as dry as the bone that was pulled out of the shoulder, bread was old, mac n cheese tasted like glue and it was over priced. By the way, you do not know what«real» BBQ should taste like if you think this place is good. Should have gone to Costco to eat a hot dog.

Stopped for lunch on a Friday– day one of a road trip from Oxnard, CA to San Fran and then on to Sonoma. We had some bad food«mojo» on this trip and it started here. I would have loved to have found some good tri-tip since my Canadian boyfriend didn’t realize that SM is famous for it, but we were anxious to eat and get on our way up north. We both ordered a brisket sandwich with sauce, no sides. The meat was unbelievably dry and flavorless. My BF has a sweet tooth so he thought he’d enjoy the free ice cream, but NOPE! I put a dollop into my little yellow cup(the best thing about the place is the cup) and then added some root beer for a float since I’m not a fan of cones. I was immediately put off by the waxy taste of the«ice cream» but didn’t want to complain further to my BF– hey, wanted to stay positive, we were starting a road trip and no one likes cranky folks, right? But, he made himself a cone and commented on how gross the ice cream was so I was able to agree without feeling bad. It’s sad to know this is a chain. We will not be going to another location as we know where to get good bbq near home.

The staff was very friendly and the food was DELICIOUS! It was $ 28 for 2 of us, we both ordered a 2 meat plate with pulled pork and beef brisket and drinks. It was delicious! Definitely worth the money. And ice cream after!
