I know it’s not rated highly and I cannot understand why. I love their pizza. We ordered the garlic chicken and hot Hawaiian. We ate in once in a Friday night and it was packed. But it was a Friday so what do you expect? The second time we got pizza, we ordered take out. Our guests loved it and were from it of town wishing they had a me and ed’s pizzeria in their hometown. The only thing I have to say is that their hot wings are not hot but they are still good. A plus about eating in is that they also serve Figueroa mountain beer. One side of the restaurant is for families, the other is a bar.

My friends and I tried to order food for delivery and the experience was not good. First off I’ll say the website sucks. It’s not user friendly and it gives you nothing but problems. So we tried to call in our delivery and we were told the deal that was online is not offered at that location. So we were charged more money. I understand the concept of franchising and offering different deals for specific stores. But sorry Me and Eds your not a national chain. You should be able to offer the same deals online at all locations. Especially over a couple dollars. So long story short, we called in our order and we were disconnected. Then we were told«I don’t know how the hell that happened.» Word for word. So then we placed our order and were told we can’t use a gift card for delivery. Which was purchased at that location. So now we must go pick up the food we ordered to use the gift card. It just seems this place has a lot of improvements which may seem minor to the company but huge to the customer. Which is sad because in the area next door at Figueroa Mountain you will receive better service and good beer. They are NOT the same company.

The first half of my experiences was wonderful and inviting. The cashier was friendly and did a great job taking our order. But the second half of our meal was like kill bill part, very slow and not much payoff, it took them over 15 minutes to get 2 beers thats just pathetic and shouldn’t happen in a civilized country.

I came in alone ordered wings and a salad. It took 10 minutes to be acknowledged as the manager was scolding an employee in front to the counter. My order was taken and food was received in a timely fashion. I got a salad from the salad bar. The lettuce was wilted and topping we’re dry and tasted like they had been there all day. My beer was flat but no complaints there I still drank it. My wings were good but very small. The men’s restroom was extremely dirty. The manager needs to focus on the cleanliness of the business and scold employees behind doors where the public can’t see.

It was my first time eating at one of these pizza shops. The food was AMAZING! I had a salad and a personal pizza with about 4 toppings. It was a number 2 lunch special. I would definitely be back if I’m in the area again.

Wings: 90% positive they are frozen wings from the supermarket. 100% positive they are the smallest wings I’ve ever had in my life. Pizza: Nothing to waste a tissue over. Decent crust from the brick oven, decent amount of toppings, but coupled with meh service and meh environment, next time I may just stay home and order Papa Johns with my pants off.

Great staff, great pizza. Go above and beyond to provide excellent service, and having Fig Mountain next door is even better. I think it’s a far better atmosphere than Klondike’s.

Good pizza, great calzones and the best wings in town. Service definately could use some work, but I tolerate that for the good food and beers.

Worst customer service ever and I know all of the«fresh» food comes from a Sysco truck or worse there new purchase of some small company. The hospitality industry is going to evolve like always but these people just need to get out and do something else. The are not good do not go!

My small family was passing through and we stopped here on a whim, very hungry, ten minutes to eleven am. The doors were open and no hours were posted so we stood in the entry completely ignored by several employees for several minutes. Then one gal rudely informed us that they were not open yet. This made us feel awkward and unwelcome so we ate next door at subway where we were warmly welcomed immediately upon entry!

Wife and I came in for an early dinner after watching a movie. She ordered the spaghetti and side salad. I ordered the Italian hamburger and side salad. You know the canned spaghetti we all enjoyed as kids? Well it isn’t as enjoyable when you are paying $ 10 for it. The noodles were mushy and the sauce was HORRIBLE. Store bought Ragu tastes way better than what they served here. Even my Italian hamburger, which was $ 8BYITSELF, was unseasoned and overcooked. About the only thing enjoyable was the fresh handcrafted salad that was reasonably priced. Oh wait… it was $ 5 for you average salad bar with few choices for toppings. I should have demanded my money back, but there was no longer a cashier at the front, so we decided writing a bad review would accomplish more anyways. So buyer beware. The food at this place is overpriced and disgusting. Stay far away.

Decent pizza when it’s not burned on the bottom. The staff is nice in the sense that it’s as good as you’ll get in most of Santa Maria. Me-N-Eds is one of the more tasty pizzas around mainly because of the toppings. I think the crust is the only downside. Come before 4 if you’re by yourself. Best lunch special is before 4.

The red-headed bartender was rude. After seeing us walk in and sit down, she rudely shouted across the bar and asked us for our ID’s. I understand my boyfriend and I look young because we are Asian but damn… At least be nice about it. And when we ordered beers, she was still short and not personable. As we sat and enjoyed the game and our delicious beers, I watched multiple people walk into the bar and she didn’t ID any of them. I would love for this company to hire me. At least the people that come would be able to enjoy their drinks and watch the game with a personable bartender who is friendly, outgoing and loves conversation. I wouldn’t discriminate either.

Came here while visiting in town and the food was good. Partof the order came and mine was forgotten but as soon as I said something they were super polite and refunded my money and still brought me food and brought us beers quickly. Very great customer service! They handled it very well. I will definitely come back here again next time I’m in town. The server Janet was amazing and very sweet. That girl deserves a raise for keeping the customer happy! Thanks Janet!

Horrible!!! Worse pizza ever!!! The operator didn’t even understand our order. They didn’t bring us the complite order. The cheese in the pizza looked old and the taste was disgusting. we eneded up no eating it. Plus it was so expensive for what we ordered.

This is four stars for Santa Maria. The pizza isn’t gourmet, it’s got a Straw Hat type crust(read: cheap). But the toppings are fresh and tasty, and I really like their salad bar. Service tends to be very friendly. And apparently they’ve recently added on a sports bar that looks pretty popular; they’re serving a bunch of new beers(some local ones like Figueroa Mountain) on tap. All in all, a nice ambience for a casual dinner.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Santa Maria. Staff lacks any common knowledge of the specials or products. The management seemed extremely overwhelmed and in no control of the business or their team. Them opening the Figueroa Mountain side seemed very unthought out. You can’t order pizza at a pizza place if you sit in a certain section?! Seriously? We were served beer in plastic cups instead of pint glasses and the pizza took well over an hour for a dine in… Prior proper planning prevents poor performance… Unfortunately this team was set up to fail. Their performance was a direct reflection on their leadership.

I got the spicy chicken wings that came out kinda mushy and semi spicy. I tried buying their home made chips(which is on the menu) but they«no longer serve it» :(my friend tried getting beer but it was tapped out. At 8pm. On a sat. The staff is super friendly so it depends on what you’re coming here for, the good company or mediocre food.(I’d go to Hooters if I’m leaving the house just for the waitresses!) *pro tip* The more reviews I write and the more places I go make my reviews inherently harsher than they should be. So take it with a grain of salt!
