I only realized not too long ago how privileged us folks in Santa Maria are to have one of these, as they are even more rare than an In-​N-​Out with a scarce amount of these through most of California, and about a handful through the rest of the U.S. The food quality I would put above an average fast food place, sort of like an In-​N-​Out. The price is very right for quality and taste, with this one accompanying a Tastee Freez with some pretty decent Ice Cream when the time are warm. Any kind of dog you get will most likely be good, but I always go with an order of the chili cheese fries, you can’t go wrong with them!
In short: Great for when in the need of a hot dog w/​chili or ice cream.

New management? Very disappointed on my last visit to «Wienerdude». It is obvious they do not used filtered water for their soda machine, because you can taste the awe-​full Santa Maria water stronger than the carbonated syrup they add to it. Also ordered some bacon ranch chili cheese fries, very disappointed in the amount of fries received considering how much I paid for it. I can and will definitely be making my own chili cheese fries and hot dogs at home for far less money at home from now on. Sorry Weinerdude.

I ate here at 7pm, the same new guy we had 2 weeks ago Issak couldn’t take our order without asking for help like 5 times, he asked me if I wanted cheese on both my chili dogs I said yes, the guy making the chili dogs even double checked and I said yes. I didn’t get cheese on them, but I paid for the cheese. I would have asked them to correct it but it took long enough to get the order taken. Also I saw at least 3 customers (groups) that were frustrated with your cashier. The boy with the braces was awesome and hardworking, 2 weeks ago I had the same issues with my order being taken for over 5 minutes for 1 person. I think something needs to be done. I come here every 2 weeks so I was very dissapointed

their all beef chili dogs are huge and BOMB! but was little disappointed in the corn dogs. those were not that good, but all in all great little Wienerschnitzel place

One of the VERY few Weinerschitzel’s on the Central Coast with the other one being in Atascadero. The only downfall to this place is that if you live in Solvang, you’ll be making a LONG trip just to get to a Weinerschnitzel. Otherwise, great food!

Expensive if you don’t have coupons, young but polite staff. Everything is made fresh to order so it’s always hot and delicious. Everything with onions please!
