Our son loved his time at Bright Start. We originally were at a Montessori preschool but there were too many children and our son didn’t thrive in the structured environment. This school is play-based with some educational focus. Every day, there is a new arts & crafts or other fun activity(like marshmallow igloos, shaving cream fun, or freeze dance) and then they also learn, say, counting to 30 or tracing letters. What I really love is the way they handle conflicts among the children by teaching them to voice their consternation and resolve the problems together. All of the teachers are great and have been there a long time — another indicator, in my opinion, of a well run school.
