I actually stumbled upon this place on my way to Taco Bell and I’m SOOO glad I made the decision to step inside! I had the paleo cacao avocado which was delicious, filling and guilt-free, plus I got to keep a nice mason jar! But what really blew me away was the customer service I received. Unfortunately I don’t know the name of the female cashier from the evening shift yesterday but she’s a saint and I want to give her credit for her act of kindness. Before walking into Chomp I had an upsetting phone conversation and despite my best efforts to look and act normal she could still tell I was going through something. So when my drink was ready she handed me a cookie(which was damn good also) and said ‘feel better’. Although it was a small gesture it made a huge impact on me and I hope her manager recognizes her for it. I will definitely be coming back here again when I’m in the area!

Always amazing and never disappointed by this great place. I just got back into town and got there after closing. An employee saw me and asked if I needed anything to my surprise. I was like I missed your watermelon drink but I will comeback when your open. He said no way you can still buy some and sold me the drinks I missed and was craving. Still by far the best costumer service there. Thanks Chomp!

My husband and I went halfsies on the bacon and sausage breakfast burritos. Both were really good, hearty and flavorful, though we decided we’d give the edge to the bacon one. Cute place inside, friendly and fast service. Only downer is that $ 10 for a breakfast burrito seems a bit steep. Nonetheless, we shall return!

This place is pure AWESOMESAUCE! Perfectly fried chicken, Anti boring burgers, superior cheat day options(chomp steak fries) and refreshing organic cold pressed beverages to wash it all down, with 7eleven and an elite donut shop nearby Chomp Eatery as the healthiest choice will be a no-brainier!

Truffle Fries! Burgers! Breakfast burritos! OMG! I’m gagging for more! I can’t wait to be back in the area and order the whole menu. I am excited this spot is next to DK’s donut shop landmark. They have this chipotle mayo Sauce that adds flame to anything you wanna dip in. Yeah meals can add up to more than $ 10 but you get what you pay for.

MOCHAMONKEY= Heaven! The mocha monkey was sooooo delicious. Espresso, with banana, and cocoa!!! Yummy yummy yummy. The guys behind the counter were so quick and amazingly friendly. I had never been there before so I awkwardly asked if we were supposed to keep the jars. Of course they said yes and I was just toooooo excited. The smoothie was super fresh(the banana) with the right hint of bitterness from the cocoa, and perfect amount of espresso. Oh and then just enough agave so that it wasn’t too sweet. Outstanding! I will come here EVERY time I’m in SM ;) thanks chomp!

Great eatery for this shitty mall. The mall looks really bad(road has lots of stains and trash) but it has great donuts shop. That’s how I discovered this place. The inside is really small and gets really crowded during lunch hours.(many medical staff comes here with their scrub cloth on, eww) I got a burger for $ 10. It’s a nice burger but the burger itself, no side such as fries. Isn’t it a bit overpriced for this location??? Other menu… most of food is $ 12-$ 18. Again, isn’t it overpriced for this shitty mall location??? This neighborhood doesn’t have much food choices within walking distance so the business still stands, I guess.

Simply put, pretty good! A few of my coworkers had Chomp delivered for a late dinner in the office. I had their take on the banh mi sandwich, and my coworkers got the namesake burger, and the steak sandwich. Portion size was reasonable, though the sandwiches were a little messy to eat. The salad and mashed potatoes sides were decent. My banh mi sandwich was savory and delicious. I also got the acai smoothie, which was good, but not out of this world. Would definitely order again!

It has been some time since l had a hamburger at this place and since I was in Santa Monica with friend, we decided to have lunch here. I noticed they took away the cute baskets they served the fries in and also the small skillet hamburgers were served in. However, the taste and service stayed the same. This place is famous for its on cold pressed juices that are served in bottles with their own name brand. Pricey, but for health nuts am sure it is worth it. +++PARKING+++ This is a small shopping strip with few parking spaces. You can find street parking if no space available. +++SERVICE+++ You place your order at the counter, pay and they will bring the food to your table. Service is good with a big smile from the lovely young lady at the cash register. They use to have a menu on the wall where you ordered off of it, that is no longer there. Now, they have a printed out menu that looks like a folded newspaper. +++FOOD+++ THEFAMOUSBURGER Angus beef, applewood bacon, carmelized red onions, tomatoes, argula, infused mustard and homemade mayo and pickles on a brioche bun with added egg, cooked md rare. The hamburger was huge, juicy and very tasty. The bacon was fresh and crunchy. We both ordered the same and we enjoyed very much. CHOMPFRIES French fries tossed in parmesan cheese, topped with shaved manchego cheese. This is really not a big serving, but it was hot fresh delicious. I would go back if am in that area again for sure.

I can’t say enough good things about Chomp. I love these guys so much. On a whim, I decided to order a platter of breakfast burritos for a team meeting today, and they were a huge hit! They created these adorable boo-ritos with very little notice and they were so delicious! Everyone loved them. I also recently used them to cater a party for 200 people recently for work, and they were amazing then, as well. I wanted to take pictures but everyone inhaled the food so quickly! I plan on catering with them whenever possible in the future. They are responsible, reliable, and always friendly. They are the rare combination of healthy, delicious, and affordable.

Came here for lunch with 3 other friends on a Saturday, and had no problem finding parking or a table. This little shop is small, but I think most do grab and go when they come here. Everything on their menu looks awesome. They have everything from Breakfast, lunch and dinner! And all served all day. Boyfriend got the Breakfast burrito, which is big enough to share btw! Comes with eggs, cheddar, tater tots, and your choice of bacon or sausage. We smothered it with their house made Sriracha sauce for an extra kick!(also available for purchase if you must have it in your household.) I got the super exclusive(only available until Oct 31st2015) Pumpkin Spiced Fried Chicken Sandwich. It’s a Fried Chicken patty with Pumpkin Spiced Aioli, Wild Arugula, Tomatoes, Provolone Cheese, in a DK Donut of Cinnamon Crumb as the burger bun! All the different sweet/salty/peppery tastes mesh together really well. I enjoyed it a lot! I recommend you try it before it’s gone! They have a large assortment of cold pressed bottled juices too! My favorite is the Balance green juice which has Apple, Spinach, Cucumber, Kale, Celery, Romaine, Parsley, Lemon, Lime, and Ginger. It looks scary at first, but its not too green tasting and it has a good sour and sweet taste from the lemon and the apple! With a small kick from the ginger! I can drink this all day! They have a private parking lot, so parking was not a problem for me. Food came out super quick despite them having a super huge catering order at the same time. Def a spot I would recommend friends and families to go to for good food and yummy juices that won’t break the bank!

I was part of a food blogger event to try out a few of Chomp’s offerings. All I can say is, ‘WOW!!’. No boring burgers here, only innovative gourmet burgers that are nothing short of delicious! We were lucky enough to try their limited time Pumpkin Spice Fried Chicken Burger only offered in the month of October. It’s Fried chicken, arugula, tomatoes, provolone cheese, housemade pumpkin spice aioli on a cinnamon crumb glazed doughnut bun! If this sounds ridiculous, it is… Ridiculously good! The bacon cheese fries are tossed in Parmesan cheese and topped with shaved Manchego cheese, Applewood bacon, fresh garlic, and garnished with chives. And who doesn’t love tater tots? The Cheesy Bacon Tater Tots are the Bomb Dot Com! Crispy tater tots topped with Applewood bacon, cheese, and garnished with chives. Wash all this down with their wide selection of cold pressed juices to complete an awesome meal! Chomp Eatery: 5-Stars for a job well done!

Schoolteacher is always tempting me with photos of food on instagram. Each and every day I’ll find a ridiculously unhealthy and exciting new image of food with my name tagged to it. One day I found my name tagged to a wondrous donut cheeseburger, with an egg and bacon on a cheeseburger in between donuts. A trip to Santa Monica was planned, and I knew what was for lunch! We arrived here after hiking up from the beach. The place is small, and cramped, but they do a good job of making space for the customers to dine. A carafe of water with cups was a welcome sight after the hike up here. There were a fair amount of people in here. Both seated eating and waiting for their to-go orders. I carefully approached the counter, and began my order. One donut cheeseburger please, and a Chompotle wrap for Schoolteacher. Strawberry Lemonade for the lady, and I’ll try this ‘Peace’ healthy drink thing to nullify each and every one of the Donut Burger’s unhealthy qualities. Apple, beet, spinach, cucumber, kale, celery, romaine, parsley, lemon and ginger juiced all up together into one peaceful super duper healthy drink. That will totally just knock the ‘unhealthy’ right out of a donut burger, don’t you think? The total was thirty four and change. I took my boring plastic bottle of juice and Schoolteacher’s cute adorable smiley face stickered mason jar of juice back to our table. I held onto my juice, vowing to pair it with the burger. It would be the good and the bad, and I would walk out of the place as if I had eaten nothing. Schoolteacher’s strawberry lemonade was indeed as delicious as the girl behind the counter had touted. Our food soon arrived. Schoolteacher’s wrap was accompanied by a healthy side salad to one side, and a large scoop of creamy potato salad on the other. My donut burger arrived. It was all alone on a plastic tray with a newspaper styled liner. It had no egg, nor the bacon as it did in the image that had lured me here in the first place. It was a sad lonely cheeseburger betwixt just a single donut that had been sliced in half. This was a sad and quite far cry from the donut cheeseburger I had grown to admire and love at Chicken Charlie’s booth at the county fairs. Somewhat disappointed by the burger, I excitedly opened the bottle of Peace and took a healthy swig.
Beet Juice. Just think about that for a moment. Beet Juice… …swirl that around in your brain for a lil bit. It’s absolutely terrible loathsome stuff. The other garden and fruit objects they added did not help the fact that it was Beet Juice. I might have tasted a hair of cucumber. I didn’t taste the apple, the lemon, nor the ginger. I tasted sour, repugnant unappealing beet juice. Blech. P. S. This terrible witch’s brew concoction was nearly eight dollars for the lone 16 ounce bottle. (But hey, you folks may enjoy it… who knows) I think Schoolteacher saw my reaction when I drank the juice, as she offered me some of her Strawberry lemonade again. I took a sip of her wonderfully delicious beverage, and then I soldiered on. I continued to eat my small sad lonely donut cheeseburger, and finish my horrible sour eight dollar bottle of beet juice. Knowing that bad tasting things are healthy for you. I’d like to believe I was actually in the positive for that day. So while the place was cute, the staff friendly, and in their defense, I did order the stuff. Schoolteacher’s lunch was wonderful. Mine was just a bit underwhelming. Both Schoolteacher and I liked the cute kawaii food artwork hanging in the bathroom. I think next trip this way, I’ll just visit the really cool donut shop next door.

I love this place! Please open a location up in Newport/costa mesa area in Oc. We are missing this. Every time I come to Santa Monica I can’t wait to eat here. I’m a freaky vegan and I love all the option they have for both meat eaters and non meet eaters. Thanks for putting out quality food! Please come to The OC with this!!! If I ever did decide to eat meat again this would be the first place I would have my first meal with meat! Love chomp! X

Chomp is Top notch for juice. They are tasty and healthy. I tried their cold-pressed Apple Lemon Ginger. It’s got good ratio of juices, not too spicy and easy to drink. Chomp Greens is also pretty awesome. Typically juices with greens are raw and earthy, but this one is extremely smooth and delicious. I can tell the recipes are very carefully put together in each bottle. They have a massive menu. I just could not read it quick enough standing in front of the counter for the first time, so I just ordered a bottle of juice first and sat down to go through the menu from front to back. I tipped girl at register 2 times hoping to brighten her day — 1st time when I ordered a bottle of juice. 2nd time when I ordered my food. A bit bummed out… obviously the tips did nothing. It didn’t bother me too much because we must not judge a place based solely on the friendliness of one single staff. However, my order was forgotten. I had to ask about my food like 10~15 mins later after seeing their other employees sat down next to me, started eating their wraps, yet mine was no where in sight. Thankfully Roland, whom I think is the owner, came out, apologized, and made sure my order was prepared as soon as possible. And compensated me with a chocolate chip cookie for the small hiccup. She just made everything okay. When I purchased my 2nd bottle of juice, the guy was also very friendly. You can tell he just enjoys working there and helping customers. Hope all their staff have the same type mentality. I am a huge fan of BBQ everything. So I got excited when I saw BBQ grilled chicken wrap on the menu. When it finally arrived to my table, it taste pretty fresh and chicken was moist. The wrap has good consistency. Not too hard/dry or too soggy. However, the BBQ sauce was so mild I thought it was a regular chicken wrap. I asked for more BBQ sauce. After tasting the BBQ sauce by itself, I can confirm that their Housemade BBQ sauce is VERY mild. Almost like a lightly flavored honey brown sauce instead of the typical heavy-flavored BBQ sauce. Which can be a good thing for people with delicate pallets. But for me, I ended up drowning the rest of my chicken warp in Sriracha sauce with some of their BBQ sauce. I’ll be happy to return to Chomp again just to support small places like this because you can tell the owner puts 200% into operating her business.

My friends and I came in for lunch. We ordered, paid, and when the food was ready, our names were called. Our party ordered the steak sandwich, chicken sandwich, and California sunrise. We all enjoyed our food. The California sunrise had all the flavors there. It gave me my boost of protein as well as carbs. We also got some juice and an iced tea. The tea came in a cute mason jar with a hole for a straw and I took the jar home with me. My friends really enjoyed one of the green juices. The juice label says it’s cold-pressed, but my friend said they had just made it quickly in front of her. I thought the process of cold pressing juice is time-consuming and is usually done earlier in the day, so I’m not sure if the juice here is truly cold-pressed. If it is, the prices are reasonable($ 7 per bottle). I’ve paid $ 8-$ 10 per bottle in Orange County. This is a great place to grab a bite, whether you want something filling, a snack, or something healthy.
