I wish I could give this place NEGATIVE stars. Do NOT go here. The directors and staff are VERY rude. They use interns so these are people who are learning what to do by practicing on YOU. I went there for a week and ½. Even with insurance they tried to make me pay $ 4,000 for an 8 week program. Then they told me not to discuss how much I paid with anyone else because different people are paying different things. First red flag. Why wouldn’t they be charging everyone the same? This place is private so presumably people going there pay with insurance and out of pocket. They aren’t serving homeless on a sliding scale. I was suspicious and since they didn’t have very many reviews on Unilocal, and the ones they did have weren’t good, I decided to give them half and pay the rest later if I liked the program. Well it turns out, the program wasn’t for me because of the rude staff, because of the interns, and because of their constant focus on money. They started hassling me for the second half soon and would not meet with me for counseling before we discussed it. Then, one day I had to miss a couple classes and I showed up for the last class(I was working that night and couldn’t leave work). I asked if I could just sit in on a class anyway and was told no because they couldn’t charge my insurance for the whole thing. So they turned me away. After a while I decided to just find another program. I had only been going there about a week and a ½. I expected a refund of some of the money I had paid since it was actually supposed to be an 8 week program. Well, I left in August. They gave me the run around until about a week ago and would not refund my money. I got every excuse in the book. My insurance hadn’t paid them yet, no they could not get me an itemized list of what my money had been spent on. I finally called my insurer who said they paid them back in August and CR owed me money back. My insurer, with me on the phone, called them and the lady who handles insurances and payments there, Veronica, who had been giving me a hard time and had been rude and dismissive to me several times, was also rude and dismissive to my insurance rep. She told my insurance rep. that I had to call HER. I had been trying to do that for weeks and had gotten nowhere. Long story short, after doing this for a while, I finally got them to admit they owed me a refund of about $ 1,300. They said they would have the check cut and ready for me. Yesterday I went and picked it up. The woman who had been rude to me over the phone, Veronica, handed me a sealed envelope with a sweet as pie smile and told me to have a nice day. When I got home and opened the envelope I realized the check was $ 400.00 short. When I called to ask why, I was told by a different staff member that I had signed a form acknowledging they did not give refunds. I said«What?» I don’t remember signing anything like that! Send it to me. He said, «I won’t send it you». Well I am not going to their office. These people are terrible. DON’T GOTHERE!

Great place, I’ve learned a lot from this place. However the directors are stiff and rude, they plain and simply don’t know how to run a good program.
