I’m guessing this Wendy’s won’t be here much longer. The fries were soggy. I’m not sure she gave me a medium Coke, like I ordered, because I didn’t get a receipt, or straw. Not going back. Miss the Arby’s. The sandwich was okay.

I suppose it’s odd to give a fast food restaurant five stars but if you’re rating fast food for what it is then there has to be 1 star and 5 star experiences. This was definitely a five-star experience. I walked in and was greeted. I also immediately noticed how clean this Wendy’s was. It was as clean as you would expect from a five-star restaurant — for a Wendy’s I found that to be very distinct yet admirable. When I got to the counter to order my food, I decided to get 4 for $ 4 and special. The cashier asked me which options I want it. I don’t drink the soft drinks because there’s plenty of drink and water at my office so I asked to substitute for it and he gladly let me. He also asked if I wanted any condiments with my meal. Lastly, he asked me if my order was correct on the menu screen that this Wendy’s has. After my meal was ready he thanked me for coming and I went about my way. Some of this experience might not seem like much but going inside of a clean restaurant 13, being greeted nicely, being asked if my order was correct, and getting a find farewell shit all add up to a very highly rated experience no matter where you are.

Used to take my son here every Sunday after church to share a frosty and talk about life. My son is gone(his mother took him and his eleven sisters away because of my gambling) but the memories of those refreshing dairy like shakes is something I’ll always have. I now come here by myself on Sunday’s and take advantage of their value menu(some many great deals to choose from). I recommend their nuggets golden and delicious! 10⁄10 would recommend this place for anyone with a tight budget but a large appetite lol!!! I took one star off because the frosty machine was down on my most recent visit!

I went today(3÷23÷16) between 2:20 and 2:40 at the drive thru and ordered a small #2. I get to the window and I’m not greeted. I wasn’t thanked for even buying food from there and worse of all, I felt as if the associate had an attitude problem when I asked for some ketchup. She was very rude, unwelcoming and had no type of customer service related skills or assets. I work in the customer service industry where we rely on providing great service to those that buy from us but this experience really ruined my chances of ever going back. By the way, the associates name was Amy. The worse customer service that possibly ever existed on the face of this earth! You guys should really train your employees to be more welcoming, just like they are at Starbucks or any restaurant.

Me and my family have always liked Wendy’s so we decided to come to this place when we visit Malibu, but it was such a bad experience, I don’t know if we will still come here again. My friends and our families(9 people in total) went there together, so we ordered 9 burgers, but when we were picking them up, the manager/the person helping us order(named Nohemy) gave us 7 burgers, so my mother and one of my friends father each didn’t get a burger. After realizing that they didn’t get the food, we went to ask the manager to give us the rest and received the words«I made 9 burgers, I don’t know where the rest went.» So we believe that what she was saying was that we «stole» 2 of the burgers and we’re trying to let them give us 2 more for free(which is not true). After that my mother’s friend starts to negotiate with her, she maintained her thoughts of that she made 9 burgers, and don’t care about what we say, of course we were shocked by how she twisted the truth and blamed us for smuggling 2 burgers. Then she turned around and walked away, so we asked the other workers for her name(Nohemy). When we finished up eating, we asked the managers to let her come back out and apologize to us, because we will not tolerate the act of libelous. When we starts negotiating with her again, I started to record our conversation, and we did tell her that we will record down every single word she is going to say the next second. She understood and repeated her words what she said earlier, but when we told her that we only received 7 burgers and asked for her apologies, she turned around and walked away. We were shocked by such manners and feel very bad for ourselves that from now on, we will not have any good impressions for Wendy’s any more.

The best burgers of all the fast-food companies. This place, however, doesn’t have the wonderful self-serving digital soda machine.

The lines are always too long. The bathroom inside the dining area is stupid and a huge waste of space, thanks Santa Monica.

I have always been given top service at this location. I always eat here while waiting for my car to be serviced at Toyota of Santa Monica.

I am a big Wendy’s fan. Having said that, I visited the SM location yesterday on an empty stomach. I had not eaten breakfast or lunch and it was 2:30PM. I ordered a cheeseburger and a baked potato with sour cream. I got food poisoning even though I have a cast iron stomach!

I regret eating here, all night long! The health inspector should head over there! I realize that many people just aren’t familiar or taught food safety. I recommend you don’t eat there.

This Wendy’s puts all other LA locations to shame. Especially the Hollywood one, where they can’t fathom a hamburger that doesn’t come with cheese. More often than not, this location has my order right and it’s ready right as I pull up. Extraordinary. They should be open later. If that Jack in the Crack right down the street can be 24 hours, getting that Wendy’s to remain open until midnight on weeknights and 1am on weekends wouldn’t be a bad thing. Then, I would remember they existed altogether.

Perhaps this is a rule or some sorts, I’m not gonna look this up or anything, but apparently, you cannot order at the drive thru at night if you are riding a bicycle. The cashier told me they are closed and only take orders from cars/motorcycle. There must be a legitimate reason, but in the middle of the night, it is laughable. Sure if they were worried that I may get hit by a car or something. Not to worry, I just head over to Jack in the box across the street. It is elitist of them, what happens if I don’t own a car or motorcycle. Wendy’s, you disappoint me.

Review for Wendy’s, something I have loved my whole life, I’m sad to say I wish you hey would just shut down already. First of all, when I was growing up they had a salad bar. I bet if they still had it they would be booming right now if they still had that. But wait now I go, and they can’t give me a loaded baked potato. Hold the phone, I know registers have + vaccine. Unless the guy in charge of the salad bars is now in charge of the registers. Failed. epic fail. I’m told sorry we can’t add baccon. So I reply you physically cannot add baccon??. They tell me no because the registers won’t let us. ok so I just want to say this will be the last time I ever eat at a Wendy’s. you will be loosing lots of bussiness.

I come to this particular location a lot. There’s not much to say… just another Wendy’s. But I must warn you: if you are paying with cash in the drive through, be careful that you don’t drive off before they give you change. This is the only fast food place that I’ve been to that will give you your food before the money is taken care of. It happens really fast. I once payed with a $ 20 bill and they literally gave me my food as I have them the bill. Of course it’s my fault that I wasn’t thinking but after I got my food, I drove right off. It was about an hour later that I realized that I didn’t get my $ 12 change. They have done this every time I’ve payed with cash. So beware. Don’t forget your change!

Wendy’s is on the west side of Lincoln, just north of Santa Monica Blvd. It is a small location — there is a small dining area which can accommodate about 20 people if absolutely jammed — but it is very clean. There is a drive-thru available as well. The staff is very friendly and well-spoken for a fast food establishment. And, considering the number of homeless patrons that they have, it is absolutely AMAZING how clean they keep this place. There is free parking on the north side of the building. We stopped in for a late dinner after a LONG meeting because we needed something fast and wanted to get home. The menu is pretty limited — basically 5 burgers, 5 chicken sandwiches, 4 salads and accoutremonts(e.g., chili, fries, etc.). DH ordered a cheeseburger with French fries($ 5.14). This came with a soda, which has free refills but is filled behind the counter. He said that it was a delicious burger and the fries were really fresh. His one criticism was that the cheese should have been melted. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad($ 6.99). It was a very generous serving of chopped romaine — 3 cups or so — topped with sliced cucumbers, chopped red bell pepper and roasted edamame as well as about ½ cup of chopped, grilled chicken breast. It is served with Manetti’s Spicy Asian Dressing, which is not terribly spicy and is a little underwhelming, and spicy cashews, which are not terribly spicy but are well seasoned and add some texture. The salad was a-ok. I ate the entire thing, and my hunger pangs abated. I am not a big Wendy’s customer — I have only been one other time when I was in college — but it is a clean, cheap place to grab a bite to eat.

I have been visiting Wendy’s restaurants all across the United States since I was young. In my hometown of Woodstock, IL we had a Wendy’s and it was always great. But I must tell you, this Wendy’s in Santa Monica is the best Wendy’s I have ever been to. The staff is friendly, the wait is short and the food is the freshest, best-tasting Wendy’s I have had. That is saying a lot. Kudos to their staff and team for bringing such high standards to the Wendy’s franchise! Thank you!

Nothing like an ice cold frosty on a hot summer day. From adding a menu selection that is more in line with the rest of the chain, creating a unique system that works with their limited space and having over half a year of experience under their belt; Wendy’s Santa Monica is starting to get their groove. I still haven’t found consistency in the quality of food when it comes to the freshness that this company touts in their advertisements, but if you’re near the beach, drop by and get a cold one(cold frosty that is).

We don’t normally eat fast food but when we have a nugget craving, Wendy’s here we come! There are absolutely no nugget selections on the Westside so needless to say, we had high hopes for this location. Avoid this Wendy’s, of possible ! They offer none of the regular promotional items such as 99cent 5 piece nuggets, no spicy nuggets, and a few other deals ‘missing’. Last time we went they were completely out of the dressing we had ordered for our salad and the salad was literally a piece of lettuce… I mean that is what you get when you order a Wendys salad it was just so disappointing. This will never be the Hollywood location but we don’t live in Hollywood anymore. C’est la vie! 2 Thumbs down.

I too mourned the loss of Arby’s, not for the roast beef sandwiches but for the seasoned curly fries with cheese sauce. Lo and behold Wendy’s has cheese sauce too but apparently tonight I was told they don’t have it for french fries. Hmm I said to the drive thru associate I ordered it last week(true story fat kid cravings). A squeaky voiced manager type gets on the horn if you will ‘that must have been a one time thing the last time you were here’ I’m sorry what?! I offered to pay for the damn sauce but I like the cheese sauce to accompany the ‘natural style’ french fries. I asked in a rather annoyed tone ‘well can you ring me up for a miscellaneous charge?’ Consent. I win. Didn’t have to pay for the damn sauce but I mean wow it is not much different than ketchup or barbeque packets in the grand scheme of condiments and overall store revenue. They are trying to appeal to the healthier side of fast foods, with half portion salads and grilled items. That is another damn old person gripe-I had a coupon to use on a full sized salad and oh what did I get when I opened the bag at home? A half size. I do get a hankering for chocolate frostees so I am sure I will be back but maybe I will choose to march into the restaurant rather than deal with the pip squeaks at the drive thru. I am not asking for tapioca or broiled lobster here… it’s not that hard to retain customers when you are a national franchise.
