Love Tina! She is really a perfectionist In all aspects of her work. I showed her a Pinterest picture and got exactly what I asked for (when does that ever happen?! Lol). She corrected all her mistakes before I even had a chance to point them out. With nail salons on ever corner, mediocre work has become the average. It is really hard to find someone who still puts time and effort into a solid manicure. Tina is the exception!

I absolutely love this nail salon so much that if I’m out of town, I will wait until I get back to get my nails done. They do such an amazing job and my nails always look amazing when I leave. I’ve never had so many compliments on my nails, as I do when I get them done at Lily’s! All of the ladies do amazing jobs on manicures and pedicures, and really take their time to make everything perfect!

I really wanted this to be my go to nail salon since it’s so close to my house, but after a few mediocre experiences I feel inclined to review. They have no regard for appointments. I called to make an appointment and showed up at that time and they asked if I could wait 30 mins as they just sat people, filling the pedicure chairs. It was very rude and not the first time I made an appointment and they seemed to have zero regard for it.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. Their services are decently priced, the shop is clean and everyone is very friendly. No ‘nickel and diming’. Great assortment of colors.

I have been to this shop before and had an ok experience. This time, however, that was not the case. I had an appointment at 4. When I showed up there were four other people waiting with 4 o’clock appointments. There are only 5 or 6 spa chairs in this place. I get people run behind but I was put in a chair at 4:30. The others around the same time and one after me. If that were the only issue that wouldn’t be that bad; however, I’ve never had my nails painted so badly ever. She had to keep doing ones over. I had originally requested a simple design on two fingers. They didn’t match at all and were so badly done, I had to ask her to remove them. I do not have gel or acrylic nails. I finally left the salon at almost 6:00 with barely any drying time. When I got home, my boyfriend asked if I was just going to take it off because he could tell it was bad.

Been coming to this salon for a few years now. Service is pretty efficient and staff are friendly. I get both gel and regular polish manicures and both really are well done and last for longer than expected (I’m the type to chip a nail a day after the normal polish manicure so any work that lasts longer than a week is amazing for me. Gels last two to three weeks and I usually change them only because of nail growth. Pedicures are always done well, with extra care to the feet (massage, callous removal, etc…). Color selection for both gel and normal polish is always on trend but they keep several fresh bottles of the classic colors available when you are in a neutral state of mind.
Brought my little girl in recently and they took time making sure she had a good experience. She’s definitely ready to go back. Suggestion to the salon is to prep Mother-​daughter packages in time for the holidays or Mother’s Day…

I hate to discredit a local Santa Monica company but I got my nails filled on a Sunday afternoon and two hours and a bleeding thumb later I had they most thin and flimsy nails ever. She only put one layer of powder over my nails.
Of course come Monday I had a broken nail, so I went back to have them repair, which they did. But the repair took an hour and my manicurist didn’t even make the nail the same shape and the gel was coming over my nail bed onto my skin (picture). Come Tuesday 2 more nails broke! I went back to ask for my money back and they refused. Said it was my fault and that I asked for a «natural nail» natural or not it should break a day or two later. By the way I never asked for a natural nail, I just asked for a fill with gel.
The manager said she would call her boss and to come back tomorrow. I asked her to call her boss right then and there and her response «I don’t have his number.» My jaw hit the floor! You said you would call him but you don’t have his number! Poor, awful customer service.
Why would I want this place to fix the broken nails when all of them are going to break this week?! I would give this place negative stars if it was possible. Such a shame the way they run their business, they don’t care about their customers, only making money.

Five stars for the manager Jennifer. She contacted me straight away to understand what happened and apologized for what had occurred. I loved that and wish that more people cared as she does about their business.

They recently renovated the salon and services seem better than ever. Definitely the best nail salon in this part of town.

This is the BEST and my FAVORITE nail salon in LA. I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years. Clean, beautiful work, a relaxing massage, and only $ 55 for a pedi and gel mani! I’ve had all the ladies, they all take their time and do the best work. I’m a regular client :)

I was in need of a manicure and decided to try this place out since I was in the area. I didn’t have an appointment but they were able to take me in right away. It was a relaxing and quiet environment. I really enjoyed the service. My nails looked clean and shiny. I will definitely come back!

My friend was having eyelash extensions put on at a place two doors down so I opted for a mani pedi rather than waiting.
The salon is clean, organized, and efficient. I was late for to traffic and when I called it went to voicemail. I left a message but didn’t receive a return call… But it wasn’t an issue as they took me right when I arrived.
I added on the sea salt scrub for my feet and it was the best decision! It started with a slice of fresh orange being rubbed on my feet and calves, followed with a sea salt scrub mixture and a ten minute run down. After that, she did the traditional lotion massage. My feet are soooo soft!
I wanted something a bit different for Valentines Day and they were very accommodating. The polish application was flawless … I’m super picky and they did a great job with it.
The total price was $ 71. The mani pedi was $ 55, and included gel on my hands. There was a $ 10 charge for the sea salt scrub and it was $ 6 for the special polish requests. I think it was a fair price considering I was there for almost 2 hours.
Give them a try…

The salon has a convenient location, so I gave it a try for a pedicure. But I was unhappy with the aggressive trimming and cuticle cutting that left my big toe throbbing for several days. The polish also started to chip off only after a few days when I normally have polish last for weeks.

Very friendly and sweet. I always love my pedicures there and the price is right. Go at off times if you want to walk-​in. I’m made the mistake of thinking I was going to get in withing the hour on a Friday afternoon.

You won’t have to queue too long as they are generally well staffed. Love the massage chairs. I deduct the star cos prices could be discounted particularly for regular customers.

Poor customer service, overpriced, and they close before their listed closing time which is unfair and false advertisement.
I give them 2 stars because the place is clean and well organized, they just need a better staff.

Reasonable prices and good service. My technician was very gentle with my nails and checked frequently to make sure I liked the color and design. It’s conveniently located so, I’ll definitely be back whenever I need a good mani.

This has become my regular nail place since I moved to Santa Monica in August! I tried out a few others that had good reviews on Unilocal in the area, but none had a better Gel Manicure than Lily’s.
I’m pretty picky when it comes to how long Gel Maicure’s last and mine last a good three weeks every time. And I don’t feel like I’m damaging them as much as other salons. When you go in to have the gel removed they will soak your nails in Acetone over warm water and cover your hands with a towel. No smell or discomfort! A Gel Manicure and Pedicure is about $ 55 but worth the splurge!
I prefer going on Sunday mornings because it’s less busy and parking is free on the street. Now, go treat yourself at Lily’s!
