I’d heard this place was great, so decided to give it a shot. They have a sandwich station, a grilled food station and a small salad bar. I decided to try the grill station where they had a couple of specials. I tried the BBQ chicken plate w/mac & cheese and grilled asparagus. Well, the BBQ chicken was raw. It bled as soon as I cut into it and it was extremely rubbery. I obviously couldn’t eat that. Not a fan of food poisoning. The mac & cheese was bland and not warm. But, I found a bottle of hot sauce and poured it on there to give it flavor. And the asparagus was not grilled. It tasted boiled(soggy) with a burnt flavor(I guess that’s the«grilled» part). Overall, disappointed. Maybe the sandwiches are better? I don’t know. But, I had a very bad first impression and not willing to take a second chance on possibly getting food poisoning. So, don’t think I’ll go again.

Cafeteria design with various ‘stations’ to order from. I went to the sandwich station and built my own! Nice selection of breads, meats and toppings! I got a grilled chicken sandwich with brioche bread(huge hunkin’ slices!), chipotle aoli, and the usual suspects. I also got a side-salad, which was a mixed greens and cherry tomato jubilee with olive oil vinaigrette. The sandwich was pretty good! Tasty meat and awesome bread! I got it pressed on the panini grill. The salad was quite plain, but they piled a large amount on. Had to add some salt and pepper, but after that it was enjoyable. They add sprouts to it – a bit of filler, just FYI. My bill was just under $ 10 with no drink. ‘*$ KA-CHING! $*‘ Overall, I had a pretty good experience. The location is cool and right by the new Exposition Metro rail near all the fancy art galleries. Nice eating area(both in and outdoors). It’s a bus-your-own-table kinda place, where you put your dirty dishes on a conveyor belt — very college-esk and nostalgic for me! Next time I wish to try out a burger or chicken sandwich from their grill or maybe a mini-pizza.

Citrus lunch spot names seem to be a thing now, if you know what I mean. Lime is a great for whatever you’re craving. I must have visited this spot over a dozen times now and have made my way through their entire menu. Pizza, prepared right in front of you, individual or by the slice, is quite decent considering the circumstances. Large salad bar, soups of the day, sandwiches, pre-made items, and more. Honestly there is no end to the combinations and although I can’t really say that I am blown away by how tasty everything is, the fare is fair, the ingredients are clearly of good if not great quality, and the people are nice. The location makes it a little unique as well, being placed in a super chic setting with plenty of outside seating and a few inside spots as well. Decent prices and good selection. What else do you need? Oh, parking, that’s right. Parking is a little bit of an issue, but if you’re creative enough you’ll figure it out. I promise!

Tried to park in the adjacent lot — security guy kicked us out when we were in the restaurant.

Finally got to try Lime, as it’s close to my office! I got the Earth Crunch Wrap with a side of the fruit salad. It was pretty good as it was, definitely healthy and light! However, there was a lot of lettuce and not much hummus so to add a little flavor and zing to it I put a little bit of Siracha, which made it perfect. The fruit salad was good. It had honeydew melon, cantaloupe, watermelon and pineapple, just the honeydew melon wasn’t quite ripe yet. Overall, a pretty good place to grab food on a lunch break and it’s fairly priced.

This place is really good and affordable! Highly recommend anything from the grill. Great salad bar too! It’s close by work and it’s healthy eating for the most part!

This place is so disappointing. It’s right by my office, which means is super convenient but honestly not worth it. Yes– I know you’re busy during lunch. Yes I know you’re going to run out of items. But if you have french fries, there should be no reason why you’re sending out RAW french fries. If you have something, please prepare it with some integrity. A sad experience and definitely not worth the money.

Wow. Very happy with this new find. My pressed wrap/sandwich and yummy house made potato chips were tasty! My colleagues enjoyed their salmon, burger, soup etc. as well. Nice and visually pleasing dining space and decent soup and salad bar. Offer daily specials and online ordering. A nice lunch alternative near the office. Not sure if there is any parking nearby. A good 10-minute walk from the Water Garden behind the Bergamot Station. But the walk was worth it.

I ordered the kona rubbed pork. It was tasty and a good price. My friend ordered the smoked Gouda and turkey wrap with home made potato chips. He enjoyed it too. Good spot, nice outdoor eating if you like or indoors. Good food reasonable price and good portions. Would recommend to park at Stewart park as the adjoining parking lot is for the Agenesys building only. I was warned that they will tow. I will definitely come back and try the brick oven pizza or one of their burgers.

Healthy, organic food at great prices. This review is based on 9 visits. The food has always been very good. I have eaten 6 different selections from the menu and they were all GREAT! The prices are great… especially for the quality and healthiness of the food served. I like that you can get a salad, mixed veggies, fries or fruit for your side of any dish. They have great daily specials… from all the different selections… pizza, sandwhiches, wraps, protein bowels. The staff is friendly and attentive and Lime is always clean with indoor and out door seating. It is cafeteria style and can be a bit confusing on your first visit… so take a minute and look at the menus.

This review is based on one meal at Lime. I had the Turkey Meatball sandwich with salad side. Fantastic meal. Really nice space. Indoor and outdoor seating, very clean. Most delicious sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Salad was awesome too.

Nice alternative to the normal lunch spots. Walking distance from my work office. Food is delicious & healthy, lots pf variety & a changing menu, prices are fair, staff is friendly, and atmosphere is chill. It’s a cafeteria style restaurant with a green focus. Great place to go to treat yourself.

As much as I love the décor and the proximity to my work … I can’t say I was truly that impressed with the food here. BUT I’ve only gotten their readymade sandwiches and their BBQ chicken pizza. The sandwiches weren’t BAD, but they weren’t anything impressive. They’re small and still cost about $ 7. Sometimes they can be a little dry. They do have a line to create your own or buy freshly made ones, but I was lazy and didn’t feel like standing in line. The pizza was a good personal size, but the crust was a little too thin and it didn’t seem like the ingredients really… melted together. It tried to taste like CPK’s BBQ chicken … but didn’t quite come up to par. Overall, our meals cost under $ 10, which is a plus! Food trucks nearby and other small Santa Monica cafes can easily run you over $ 10 for a small lunch. But, this place isn’t really worth 4 stars in my opinion. It’s clean and convenient for local workers, but there’s no parking except for some meters outside. If you’re nearby, not a bad option. But I’d suggest something else. P. S. don’t get the mango berry aqua fresca thing. Literally tasted like water that’s been soaking berries. Really not that flavorful.

The place was created as the cafeteria for the cancer research foundation next door. They had to make it a public restaurant instead of a private cafeteria to meet city requirements. As a result, there is no parking here for guests. So it’s only an ideal location for local workers. Lime is popular for its pizza, but I decided to try out their sandwiches. I ordered the herb roasted chicken sandwich. Must admit, it was a bit bland in flavor. So i decided to add sriracha sauce to it for a good kick. The sriracha did its job. It came with side of fruit salad. Delicious, healthy, and gluten-free menu choices. The highlight of the meal would have to be the cucumber and mint mia fresca. Unique and refreshing. Makes you feel brand new.

Lime just opened up literally across the street from my work, and I ‘d heard about it from a friend who works nearby. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and I pleasantly surprised! The interior is simple, clean and friendly and spacious, and situated next to what can only be described as a post-modern«art walk» with plenty of open air seating and crazy sculptures to look at. The food is meant to be healthy, but they have a surprising selection that includes a little bit of everything you could want for a light lunch, ranging from salads to poached fish to burgers to gluten-free pizza that was just pulled from their stone oven as I walked in. They have seasonal specials and even daily specials. I opted for one of the daily specials, which was poached tilapia served on a bed of quinoa kale salad and a bag of salt and vinegar potato chips. They poached the fish in front of me, and I was in and out of the door in 10 minutes. They were also very friendly. The most surprising thing for me was how inexpensive it was. Most entrees on the menu range from the $ 6-$ 8 range, and it is all organic/fresh made to order and appears to use quality ingredients. I will most certainly stop by again. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.
