I spend $ 10 on one juice, not a problem. At the time of purchase I ask for an extra cup. Once my order is ready, the manager tells her employee that he cannot give me a cup because is an extra $ 1 charge. But at that point they don’t even ask me if I want to pay for it. They just«apologize » terrible customer service. The manager said if I didn’t like their policy to email the company. Will do.

Super yummy ANDHEALTHY!!! It is such a miracle that this place exists! Nekter has really affordable, satisfying and fresh juices and smoothies… And their ACAIBOWLS are a great healthy snack or meal replacement. You can add HEMP, PEA or WHEY protein to anything which make it a more satisfying meal. Health conscious people really can benefit from this place. The only down side is that none of the produce is organic. But the whole vibe makes it a comfortable environment to hang out for a while.

If you’re looking for a smoothie but don’t want a creamy one like Jamba come here! The smoothies are more water juice based and aren’t loaded with sugar. I experienced Fast service and a good juice. Workers were friendly and helpful but gave off awkward vibes when we were trying to figure out scanning the rewards app and getting my points fulfilled. Overall liked this location cause the service was fast!

Smoothies are fine. But their fruits are all frozen, they don’t have anything fresh. I didn’t like that you can’t use the restrooms over there. It was good to grab sth and go just once in a while, not good for everyday.

Lovely smoothies, good prices, you can call your order in during the week. The staff working in the morning shift are SUPER cool.

Great juice bar BUT do not come here expecting a typical smoothie king or smoothie shop menu. The drinks are meant to refresh and rid your body of gunk that needs to go. Nekter has a good mix of fruit and greens for your juice cravings. I literally stopped in twice in one day. First was the pink flamingo which is super refreshing and the second was the orange crush which had a bit of an after taste but still good. **Disclaimer** if you are a fresh green smoothie newbie go easy on some of the smoothies that are majority green. If your body is not used to large amounts of green veggies and you go overboard… Well gassy and bloating feelings are waiting to hit you when you are likely no where near home.

LOVE! For some reason I thought this place was super expensive(like most smoothie & juice bars), but it wasn’t! I believe the smallest size was $ 6 ish? Whatever it was, it was reasonably priced. I got the Popeye’s Acai(per their recommendation) and it was so good. You can’t taste the spinach ATALL, yet you still get the nutrients from it. Next time I definitely have to try the acai bowls. The employees were very nice and patient, as well since I’m a very indecisive person. Great location too. Right by the beach so you can just eat/drink your smoothie there.

Hard to Stay away when your up early cruising around downtown SM. Been in there a few times and have asked some questions about ingredients and the cashier wasn’t able to answer them. I believe if your selling/making something then you should learn all about it! Only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. A little pricey but already know that before I walk in. However there are some real good things on the menu for a good price! Also there is usual a long line but now I believe you can order online! Went in today and grabbed two drinks and the cashier today(Mike) was on point! I asked a few questions and he walked me through a handful of things. what goes with what, why it’s good for you, where it comes from and how it effects you in certain ways. I’d give him a 5 star rating with two thumbs up. If your in the neighborhood and want to rejuvenate yourself this would be the spot!

I’ve been a fan of Nekter ever since my first time trying it! While walking through Santa Monica, melting in the heat and dying of thirst, I stumbled upon a Nekter here. I barely made it inside and immediately ordered a large pink flamingo(A pitaya smoothie). As I took my first sips, I felt bliss as it rejuvenated and refreshed me. Really good and flavorful pink flamingo here! Next time I’m in Santa Monica, I will definitely be back for more. I have always been a huge fan of their pitaya and acai bowls, and love the smoothies when well made. It is on the pricier side unfortunately, so expect to dish out a hefty sum for your smoothies. However, the bowls are definitely at a fair price, substantially cheaper than some of the $ 10 – 15 ones I have found.

Got the acai bowl– it was slightly disappointing… But I may have been spoiled by Paradise Bowls in Hermosa. The acai part was sour, ++granola and not very many fresh strawberries. It was ok but not the best…

Yummy! Got the tropical açai bowl. It was so delicious. I don’t really live close to this juice bar but the next time I’m around I’ll come back. I love that all their menu is dairy free. And just oh so delicious. I can’t say more!

During our 5-day trip to Cali, my friend purchased 3 large toxin flush, 1 large acai bowl, 3 of their bottled juices, and 1 small toxin flush on the way to the airport. On her first visit, she«flushed her toxins» in their bathroom after a couple sips and was infatuated with these juices. I had 1 large toxin flush. The hint of ginger fired my nostrils and I didn’t feel much for the lukewarm juice. It tasted very healthy though.

Ehhh. Wasn’t impressed with this Nekter just as I haven’t been very impressed with any other Nekter location. I had an acai bowl which was priced at $ 7 but not quite worth the price. It came with bananas, blueberries, strawberries, and granola on top. The first thing I noticed was that the portion of the actual acai base they give was very small. However, they hide it under a ridiculous amount of granola so you wouldn’t be able to tell until you got the first spoonful. The acai flavor wasn’t very good and it just tasted like a berry or fruit smoothie. The amount of granola made it really sweet and the bowl just didn’t do it for me. The restaurant itself though was spacious and well decorated, clean and hip! I would come back to maybe try their juices but no more overpriced Nekter acai bowls for me!

Oh Nekter, I love you and all your healthy goodies inside, but why are you so expensive? Juices and smoothies I make at home now to keep the wallet happy but acai bowls never taste quite the same. I think Nekter’s acai bowl is pretty good for the price. Actually compared to other acai places, I actually think that Nekter’s is a $ 1 or so cheaper. The line is usually long because everything is made to order but I’ve always found the wait to be reasonable. I think this particular location is a little more popular because it’s located right next to the gym. I usually stick to the Acai Banana Berry. It comes with acai, banana, nut milk and berries blended together on top of agave granola topped with bananas, blueberries, and strawberries. The perfect snack between two people because it’s absolutely delicious and it won’t leave you feeling too heavy afterwards. You could use it as a meal replacer too but I’ve never been able to do that successfully since I always want to eat something more«food» like. As long as my love for acai bowls continue, I’m sure I’ll be coming back to Nekter. It’s a chain but it’s pretty reliable. 4⁄5

Love this place! This was another juice bar I stopped at in California while I was shopping in Santa Monica. I had to get my juice bar fix in since MN barely has any…(crying). I had the açaí pb bowl which was DELICIOUS. I would eat açaí bowls every day if I could. I would definitely recommend trying them here if you’re looking for a place. I also hear the smoothies and juices are delicious so I will definitely give that a try next time I visit! Please bring Nekter to the Midwest, specifically Minnesota! :)

I love nekter! This is my favorite place to come for a pick me up drink or healthy snack. They have many healthy options on their menu and it’s all raw. Raw ingredients. Unlike Jamba Juice, Nekter doesn’t have added sugar only natures sugar; fruit and honey! They have fresh juices, smoothies, and fruit bowls. Their variety of acai bowls are very good and filling for a meal or breakfast replacement. They also have cleanse systems which are juices that you drink consecutively to clean out your body. These are great if you want to flush out your body from eating bad foods and start over. Overall a great place. Their prices might be considered expensive to some but you’re getting healthy and real ingredients that benefit your body. The staff is always patient and welcoming those who have no clue what to order or who have never been. It also is a great place to study as it smells amazing and refreshing. The indoor seating area is always kept clean and the seating is comfortable. Definitely recommend!!!

Acai bowls are my favorite thing to grab in the mornings here. I ask for EXTRA granola and they’re so nice about it. SOMETHINGFUNNY I NOTICED: I love how The Greenie juice has on the ingredients description, «all the appetite suppressant veggies» as the selling point to this drink. It does get rid of my appetite! Just so LA to me how they want to appeal to those who want to juice and not eat actual food. PERK: They are really fast so the wait is always minimal.

Pros: — High-nutrition juices, smoothies and bowls — One word: Pitaya. This super fruit is delicious, high in nutrition and neon pink! — The PB bowl is to die for, almost tastes like a chocolate-peanut butter shake. I also love the banana, strawberries and granola it’s topped with. — Large servings — Location right next to my gym, perfect for a post-workout smoothie. — Discount if you check in on Unilocal — Just recently added free WiFi Cons: — Pricey — Hour: it closes unnecessarily early, even in the summer — None of the staff have been very friendly; they need to smile more and pretend that they’re happy to have customers

After all the hype, I finally decided to walk in here and cave in to the whole LA juice crave. The person behind the cashier was really helpful in helping me decipher their menu. He asked questions based on what I was craving and my personal preferences. I ended up trying one of their juices. UPDATE: They have an app-rewards system on their phone. No longer accepting stamp cards! ACAIBANANABERRY: I really enjoyed this acai bowl! It’s a traditional acai bowl topped with bananas, blueberries, strawberries, granola, and agave honey. I love the texture and it’s perfectly refreshing! TOXINFLUSH: This juice is made up of parsley, spinach, apples, ginger, and lemon. I didn’t love it, but didn’t hate it. I think it could be due to the lack of fruit(as I’m a fruit lover), but I still enjoyed the drink. It also supposedly helps get rid of the toxins in your tummy and liver, hence the name. My body actually felt a little more refreshed after this drink, so it works for me haha! This is one of their best sellers of their juice menu.(Also a safe choice as the taste of the drink isn’t strong.) PINKFLAMINGO: I’ve never tried Pitaya before, so I was really excited when my friend ordered it(I know I’m not the only one out there that does this too haha!). I definitely prefer acai over pitaya. It has a weird aftertaste-I don’t hate it but I definitely don’t love it. This drink was a blended smoothie consisting of pitaya, strawberries, pineapple, coconut water and a splash of agave. Not a personal favorite. Prices are reasonable and definitely plenty of seating available inside. Check it out if you’re in the promenade!
