Next Salon was recommended to me by my coworker and I’m so happy I found this place!
I got my hair done by Noori who is very good and very nice. She did a wonderful job on dying my hair purple. She also made sure I knew what to do walking out the door in order to keep my hair purple for as long as possible.
I am very happy with my first experience at Next Salon and I will be back again! Thank you for everything Noori!

Nandu has cut my hair once a month for a couple years since my long-​time stylist retired, so when she moved from Floyd’s in Venice to Next Salon in Santa Monica, I followed her!
She is an efficient, kind, talented hair stylist who is able to deal with my cowlick-​ful head of hair with no problem. I heartily recommend her.

My stylist Barbara O’Neill at this salon, is GREAT! She listens to what I’d like, makes helpful suggestions, and gives a fab color and cut. Going to her is like getting a makeover — you walk out feeling like a new person! The salon is cheerful and cozy, and well-​situated on a central corner of Main Street.

I’ve been so busy moving, so this review is 2 weeks over due, but I really love this sweet salon! Miriam gave me back my Summer blonde highlights that I love so much, and made me feel alive again! :) She takes time with each client, to make you look your Best! My daughter went to this salon to get her hair lightened last week. She has light brown hair with really nice highlights already but wanted to go blonder. Not sure if the woman doing her hair didn’t mix the chemicals properly but her hair had a tint of orange to it and wasn’t at all what she asked for. She went back the next day and they wanted to charge her an extra $ 50 to fix their screw up. Even after they recolored her roots, it looks like crap. Would never never recommend this place for a color.

I have been going to Next Salon for the past 2 years. They are very professional and friendly. They are always on time. They really do a great job with hair color and hair cuts. Noori is wonderful. Love the place. Recommend it highly

I have been coming here since 2009 and Noori does a beautiful job on my hair color & highlights. The colors she uses are always natural vegetable based. Her hair styles are always modern and she makes me feel rejuvenated every time I see her. I always feel 25 (yr. old) every time after she is done with my hair. Thanks Noori for always having attentive customer service. The location of the salon is right in the perfect spot on Main Street and being two blocks away from the beach, always gives me incentive to come here to do my hair and take a walk on the beach when I’m done.

I have been going to Next Salon for almost 4 years! Love Noori! She is the owner! My hair dresser Manzi, she is the best hair dresser I have ever had! Her extensions are amazing! She is also super giving! She does guys cut as well! Def recommend her!

I am shocked to see such bad reviews for this place. I cannot speak for any of the people mentioned in these other reviews, (though I do know Pedro left NEXT), but I have been going to Valentina at Next Salon for over seven years now. She is amazing, and always delivers the haircut or style I want. She makes you feel like family and is warm and welcoming. She always keeps my hair healthy, happy and shiny! I recommend Valentina to anyone who wants a hairstylist who keeps you and your hair happy!
