I had the owner give me a polish change. I have acrylics on and just wanted them buffed and gel put over them. She took 30 min on filing them all perfect and pushing my cuticles back. I am a manicurist and I own my own salon out of town. So to my standards(which are high) she did a great job and spent time. I paid 30.00 and I think she was worth every cent, and more. Everyone one is complaining about the cheap job and fast. Go into a salon demanding cheap, you are going to get cheap. Pony up the $$ and get a better service. Common sense tells you that. Ladies these people are using implements that can hurt you. So pay a little more and they will slow down and do a great job. I’m my business I do not offer up services. I have one price and one price only. You get what you pay for! Do not give then 1 star when you are asking for 1 star price.

This review is for Summer. I was recommended by a co worker and I’m so glad I made an appointment. Summer takes the time to really make sure your nails look perfect and doesn’t rush through shaping them. Absolutely best gel manicure I’ve ever had and only $ 25! I will be back

Will not be going back. Manicure looks nice and has lasted, but staff was rude, the massage chair doesn’t work, water was cold and there was not jets. The only reason I won’t be going back is because of how rude the staff was. The best part was how they were just hanging out afterwards waiting for their tips. Unbelievable.

Staff cannot communicate in english. They dont understand what we say. I asked for spa padicure and they did basic one. I was asking the guy to stop and I was explaing him to do spa padicure, but he doesn’t understand english. He kept painting my nails inspite of me telling him to stop. Staff are very rude. They speak in their native language and laugh. Never go here. They are useless.

Usually have decent manicures but last gel manicure the polish had a foul, almost manure-like smell to it that was still radiating from my nails 3 days later. Went back in to have it removed with concern that there may be some bacterial issue or old polish. They acted like I was crazy and I reiterated the fact that I’d rather be safe than sorry since gel stays on your nails for a few weeks. Had to fight for a refund but probably won’t be back due to the rude service and lack of concern for health issues and or bad/expired product.

This is hands down THEWORST experience I’ve had all around. The pedicure was fine but the manicure sucked. They LIED and charged me way more than they had originally said it would cost. I first asked how much the mani pedi was. The lady said $ 22.00 total. She mumbled something about having lots of options under her breath so my friend and I went in. When it was time to pay, they ended up charging me $ 66 total! It was $ 27(mani) + $ 27(pedi) + $ 12 for a design that SUCKED. I also asked for change to tip the lady(which I probably didn’t need to do, and she rolled her eyes at me and gave me major attitude!) NEVEREVERGOINGBACK.

I came in because the prices displayed in the window were GREAT– $ 22 bucks for a mani and pedi… however the experience matched the price. The water for my pedicure was ice cold because the chair was broken. The whole experience was very rushed. HOWEVER, I do think that the atmosphere is cute and exotic. Overall, if you’re looking for a cheap nail salon I suggest going here… just know that you’re going to get what you pay for.

Prices are ok— the reason I give 3 stars: CONS: –the extra 30 min massage I paid for was terrible –massage chairs on the old side, and not all massage functions worked –hot(no AC) –no warm water or jets. it was cold and in a bag –did not put cuticle oil. i felt they could have done a better job cleaning them up. outweighing the PROS: –application of gel polish on toes was satisfactory –staff was friendly –floral décor inside was nice –plenty of chairs/staff, so easy to accommodate walk ins.

Eeek. Nicest staff, but probably one of, if not, the worst manicures/pedicures I’ve ever gotten. So much so that I came back the next day and asked them to do a polish change because it looked so terrible. They did it free of charge and it was much better than the first time, which is why I’m giving 3 stars. $ 22 is a great price for mani/pedi, but you certainly get what you pay for.

I have been coming here for 8 years… mainly because Debbie, the owner, does great waxing! For me, it’s not all about how luxurious the place is or how overly attentive the staff needs to be to me. I am not high maintenance at all. It’s about the whole experience… the kind people and good vibes – and of course the good prices are a plus. From my experiences, they do as good a job as any other salon I’ve been to. I have always felt warm and welcomed here. From my first day, Debbie and I had a great connection… she’s the sweetest lady and has seen me through all sorts of life changes and growth. She ALWAYS remembers stories I share and asks about how things are going. This makes for an even more pleasant experience on the waxing table. She’s such a hard worker(I don’t think she ever takes a day off) and cares about her customers and employees. You can tell because all the employees are so kind and have been there forever! You also cannot beat the price. In 8 years I have only seen the price rise twice from $ 18.99 to $ 22 to $ 25 for a mani/pedi. That’s still an INSANE deal for LA, especially in this part of town. Ivy is great on manicures and gel and Anne pampers my feet and does a clean job… but I don’t always make requests(other than Debbie for my waxing) and have had nearly everyone working there do my nails at some point or another and have never had a bad experience.

Great experience. Helen was very detail-oriented, a great massage therapist and did a great job on my pedicure. Nothing was overlooked, overall I recommend her!

They cut my cuticles! MORETHANONCE. I don’t want my skin to bleed. Girl doing my nails didn’t really talk to me, was too busy talking to other people. She took nearly two hours to do my nails. If they actually looked decent, I wouldn’t have cared, but two hours for this? My set was uneven, and she was mad I didn’t have cash tip, but she also forgot to tell me that the way I wanted my nails styled was an extra 5 $. $ 40 for uneven nails and cuts. Never coming back!

I wish I could give them zero stars. The lady was so rough with my cuticles they started bleeding and wouldn’t stop bleeding. They still forced me to pay for my pedicure. Never going there again. I would never recommend this place. Rude and worst experience of my life :(

NO! I went there as it is close to my work for a little treat. I was gifted a horrible foot fungus. I will NEVER return there.

Every time I come in here I’m rushed and my nails look like complete poo! So horrible. The lady cut all around my fingers then said it was because my nails were short. They don’t give a massage at all and are just flat out rude. Won’t be coming back, not worth the price.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I easily would. Debbie is the manager and does an absolute stellar job on my nails for a good price. I could not decide which Main Street place to go and get my nails done. There are so many options, I chose the most beautifully ornate one. Zumdior did not disappoint. The owner is respectful, meticulous, and humble. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Debbie is totally talented and delightful. Run don’t walk to Zumdior. I cannot imagine any other Main Street nail salon can beat their service and ambiance.

Waiting outside from 9a-9:40a(sign and website say they open at 9) and nobody’s here… At 10a, a crew showed up– very friendly staff, OK mani/pedi, but $ 22 for the combo seems the cheapest available in Venice/Santa Monica. I’d go back.

Zumdior is my new go to spot for nails and waxing! Finally! Friendly people working here, didn’t get hassled to purchase extra things, relaxing décor and music, professional, and affordable. They have a big selection of colors for nails. Vicky did my nails and Tiffany did my waxing. Both were extremely nice ladies who did an excellent job! I noticed another Unilocaler had a bad experience getting her gels off– I’m sorry this happened to her. However, I just had my gels taken off by Vicky, who did a great job. She took them off easily, kept asking if it was too painful, and did a great job easing the pain. Definitely will be returning and recommending this place. Thank you Zumdior!
