I battle with melasma and needed a chemical peel. Laura is the most sweetest, kindest and generous person in the business!!!
I called around to different places in the SM and Palisades area for about a month. Laura was the one who would email me right back, answered all my question at length and even shared her personal experiences with me to help me better understand my situation and treatment needed for it.
I made an appointment, went in, and when you met Laura she’s even better in person! (If that’s even possible!!). She talks with you to make sure it’s the right treatment and offers options. She’s even very generous with her samples.
My plan was to get a chemical peel and drive to Oregon to lay low for awhile. I got the chemical peel and Laura asked that I text her a photo everyday so she could she how my peel process was going. So sweet! Even after the three week mark I get a text asking how it’s going.
I highly recommend Laura and her professionalism. She’s simply amazing!!!

Laura is amazing! I’ve been going to her for a few years and she knows my skin and keeps it looking young and beautiful! Recently had dermal needling (?) and results are incredible after only 1 treatment. She is responsive to any questions or concerns. She has very reasonable pricing especially considering the location and quality of services. I have had many many other facials and hands down she is the best!

I recently came to Laura & she is Awesome. I am very insecure about my skin since I grew up with mild acne with severe flare ups at times throughout my life. She was very honest & took her time to talk to me which is hard to come by. She really cares about you as a person & is honest about what your skin may or may not need. I liked how down to earth she was & I felt like I was talking with a friend. I would recommend anyone to go to her. She is professional & knows her stuff!

Laura is great, and it’s a blessing that she has her own practice.
Before your treatment, she always talks to you to see what you’re looking for and why you’re there. She wants to get to the bottom of your skin problems, not just «treat» them topically. That could mean a lifestyle or diet change. She’s very thorough and cares about her patients.
She also uses high-​grade equipment so you know you’re getting the best.

I’ve been going to Laura for about 6 months now and LOVE HER! I was used to getting facials done at places like Burke Williams or random salons. I have never met someone as thorough and that would take the time as Laura does. The first appt takes a good 2 hours because she sits down with you before the facial and listens to all concerns, problems with your skin, previous prescriptions you’ve taken for your acne, etc etc, talks in detail about her background (Worked in a dermatologist office for years) and what she think may be beneficial.
Never did she guilt me into buying her products or doing a service I wasn’t comfortable with. I now have all her products (I was a HUGE Murad fan before Epionce) and have her do the «Needling» on me every few months. I have never received so many compliments on my skin! I have super problem areas because of bad acne and had scars, old acne redness, etc etc. It’s going away faster than I ever thought possible because I am going to Laura. Love this place!

Laura is truly an expert aesthetician. I have been going to Laura’s for facial appointment since 2006. After many attempts, I was so glad when I found someone who has good experience working on sensitive skin.
And as a plus, it definitely feels good to be supporting a small owner-​operated business on the Westside such as Laura’s.

As someone who has struggled with problem skin, I was so happy to finally find Laura. She’s knowledgeable, professional, and completely dedicated to her clients. At this point, I’ve had a series of custom facials, as well as a chemical peel and I’ve been more than thrilled with my results.
Not only have I been pleased with my treatments, but I love the products that Laura has recommended (while I did choose to purchase the products, I never felt like she forced them on me). I finally feel like I have a skin care routine that I can stick with!

After reading all the rave reviews on Unilocal,my expectations of Laura were very high, but she exceeded every one of them! I booked her for a basic customized facial online (an extremely easy process) and was promptly emailed back, and even given a reminder email the day prior to my appointment. (I especially appreciated the fact that she has a 24 hour «common courtesy» cancellation policy – she doesn’t charge fees for missed appointments, but it’s nice to have that reminder that other people’s schedules are just as important as our own in the crazy flaky world of LA.)
Laura took the time to sit down with me and very gently ask about my skin and general lifestyle habits. At no point did I feel at all judged or shamed by the process – as Laura explained, she’s there to do as much or as little as I’d like. If all I want is a facial for fun, great, but if I really want to tackle my skin and get everything super perfect, I can contact her whenever with any questions, etc. When I told her I thought I fell into the latter category, she gave me a bunch of free samples, and a packet on nutrition and supplements for healthy skin.
The facial itself was very relaxing. The bed is divine, the décor spottless and very chic. Even the little robes she gives you to wear are soft and comforting. Extractions were very thorough, and she explained every step of the process. There were so many little steps that I can hardly remember all of the ways she pampered my face… two masks, a scrub, little modern machine treatments to disinfect and nourish my skin. She even gave me a free mini oxygen facial to finish up, unprompted!
I love love love this woman, and am so happy to have found her!

I would give Laura six stars if I could. Totally from selfish perspective, I am torn about letting the secret out on how awesome Laura is — what if I can’t get appointments with Laura anymore!??
Doing the right thing wins over and I’m compelled to share with all the serious skin fanatics out there what a rare find Laura is. She’s totally dedicated, honest and straight forward — and amazingly skilled. She actually talked me out of spending ten time what I was willing to spend on skin treatments because she had better solutions to offer for less (thanks, Laura, for the sanity check).
I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I’ve been to too many «best» skin experts in LA (and in NYC) — for a good part of 2007, Gwyneth Paltrow and I shared a facialist. I get a little obsessive about this stuff. Without a doubt, Laura has been best! She sets specific goals and delivers. I have found my facialist for life. She can never retire!

My most favorite Sunday in December 2009 was a 12 noon facial with Laura. 2009 was just not a fun year but on that Sunday everything started to change and ever since Life is good.
I absolutely love going to Laura’s tranquil little hideaway. I feel so safe, relaxed and pampered. It is not a flashy salon/​spa. It is a one on one experience. The facial bed is SO AMAZING you melt away. The sounds are so relaxing and peaceful! I so enjoy laying there awaiting my facial.
The facial itself is superb. You can’t get better I promise. I use products that she sells — my favorite is the lytic lotion! She is so great! I just love her.
