I am an un-reformable addict of the buy-this-get-that-free scam. I know its a scam. I don’t care. So I’m walking by, and I see the offer for buy this insanely expensive whitening toothpaste($ 30), get 5 of 8 choices of samplers– skin care, conditioner, lotions. Oh, and a free ‘beauty magazine’- basically a catalog of more overpriced stuff you can buy. But I’ll be darned if I don’t love everything a got, and will make this a stop the next time I’m in the area. Can’t say much about the staff. They were nice, but I just did a hit and run on that display. Probably wasn’t in there 10 minutes.

I agree with the other review… there are no true make up artists there. The manager is so useless. doesnt know his products or understand make up. Furthermore, he doesn’t act professionally. curses on the floor and talks crap to other co-works about customers who are shopping in the department. They also relaunched the department with stuff you can buy at Sephora… nothing special exists here and who needs unknowledgeable and not nice ppl to service you.

I love shopping here. Unlike some of the other areas of F.S., I feel like the staff has great recommends and do not hard sell any of the wares. I agree, the girls are great. Heather was amazing and helped me find just what I needed. Even matched a lip color that was a challenge. They carry many lines you can’t find elsewhere in LA. Worth checking out if you love beauty products, interesting fragrance lines, fab candles and unique body and face creams.

I love the girls that work here. Super sweet. I went in for a gift for mom and I ended up leaving with things for me. They were helpful without tailing me. Fred Segal has a reputation for a place where A-listers shop and they treated me like I was an A-lister. Nice way to spend a lunch hour.
