Great food and service! I ordered a roast beef 6 inch that was great at 11pm. Healthy alternative to fast food late at night.

Service at this subway is great. The food is always fresh. My partner always makes me stop here every other day to come get a sub on our way to work. No complaints about this place.

Used to be my go to Subway until the one on Lincoln and Ocean Park(just a few blocks south) opened up. Subway is always the same thing so you really can only judge on parking, access, hours, service. Well this Subway is right at the intersection of two huge streets and is not always easy to access. Especially with trucks unloading in the tiny parking lot. Which leads me to the next negative. The parking lot is small and sometimes there is no parking available. Also, TONS of bums/crackheads swarming the area. At times has made a late night dinner pick up very uncomfortable. I suggest sticking with the new, much nicer, Lincoln and Ocean Park location.

Last maybe 8 times they have random prices for 1 sandwich. It’s supposed to be around $ 5.40(says from corporation) and 1 time it can be $ 6.76 and next time it can be $ 6.03 then $ 8.94 then $ 7.57. And when confronted they say«I don’t know» or «it must be a error on another employee» or «that’s ridiculous that it’s that(supposed price) price» or just laugh it off. Called corporation few times and they say«we’ll contact the store and they will contact you very soon» and now it’s a few months.

This Subway is decent. The employees remember you and usually your order if you’re a regular. You always are greeted upon entering. The place is clean despite the local homeless sometimes stopping in. The quality of food depends on who makes it. If you want the best sub or salad, have the guy with the long hair tied back make it. He seems to know what he’s doing, and knows the proper Subway protocol. If you have one of the Hispanic women make your food, it’s a coin toss. One time, a woman made my Tuscan chicken salad and couldn’t understand my clearly-spoken English when ordering. Another time, a woman who was clearly sick(big puffy red cheeks and nose), made my Tuscan chicken salad, and the end result was terrible. The salad was half-chopped, the dressing wasn’t mixed in(she wasn’t listening to me), the chicken was hard and chewy(it was rubbery and off-putting), and she didn’t know her lettuce ratio to veggies. Today, the man made my salad again, and I told him my main issue(the rubber chicken), and he said it was because she microwaved it. They’re supposed to put it in the toaster, so if you have a rubber chicken problem, this is the culprit. Overall, they’re about a 2.5 but Unilocal upgraded them to a 3. ;)

Always open. Friendly staff. Some weirdos at times but that’s to be expected next to a 24 hour 7 – 11. Been really liking their breakfast menu.

I am such a fan of the broccoli cheddar soup… because subway is a franchise it is made differently at every location… a lot of time the soup is too watery at other locations… but this location makes the soup good, it is always creamy and they are not frugal with the crackers! Also very nice staff here.

This subway is just okay. Just the minimum of everything here is what it feels like. Oh, and unfortunately, this location does not have a restroom.

Although I like Subway and eat there frequently, I have always been annoyed at them for being SO chincy with their meat and cheese. Every time, I have to ask for extra meat and cheese just to bring the quantity to where it should be in the first place. Of course, I know the drill and expect to be charged something extra(their idea of extra cheese is to add 2 very thin, small slices to the existing 2 very thin, small slices). But how does a 6-inch roast beef(with extra meat and cheese, of course) that starts at $ 4.50 and is upgraded to a meal w/regular sized drink(21oz) turn into $ 8.75? That’s way too high IMO. If I want to pay gourmet sandwich prices, I’d go to a gourmet deli. And BTW the roast beef is tasteless. Wish Subway would take a clue from Quizno’s, they are a bit more generous with these toppings. Lastly, I go to several different Subway locations, and it seems I get charged a variety of prices for the same exact sandwich. It’s like the cashier charges arbitrary amounts as he/she sees fit. Or is it a lack of training and/or incompetence?

Thank goodness! Traveling, hungry. in need of something to tide one over without spending 12 or 15.00 for a small bite. Appreciate good old Subway with fresh veggies and a smile.

Ok, I guess it was my fault to think that going to a sandwich shop for breakfast could actually work. I mean, i saw the ads that they are open early, because I was there at 6:45am. They showed the sandwiches all fluffy & delicious looking. Anyway, when you get it, watching them handle the egg is just appalling. It looks like it was supposed to be a pancake and then they just give you slices of it. Eggs aren’t sliced unless they are hard boiled. Anyway, let me stop going off on a rant, because in the end the thing was tasteless. They didn’t even give you anything to give it some flavor & the bacon wasn’t even crispy. Anyway, I’ll never go back for breakfast ever.

What happened! My favorite guy isn’t there anymore, and all the other workers suck ass! I bet they hated his enthusiasm, and plotted a plan to get rid of him. The rest of the workers there now get your orders wrote, skimp on the toppings, and just make me depressed going in there. I guess i’ll have to start a manhunt to find my favorite subway employee.

I am not a huge fast food fan, but this SUBWAY may have changed my mind. The staff here is really nice and actually makes your order the way you want it. And the other customers here are always friendly and patient even during their lunch hour — amazing. I have also fallen in love with the veggie patty sandwich to the point that by adding a different topping and dressing I feel as though I have a completely different meal. A little absurd I know, but it is that good. Fast food or not, this is good stuff.
