Thom gives an amazing cut and style every time. I take my 4 year old daughter and get a mommy-​n-​me matching style. He’s great with kids, and i bring an ipad for my daughter to watch while I’m getting my cut. I can see why people call him the best colorist in Santa Monica. I have many friends who would agree with that too. He is able to transform almost any color strategy into a flawlessly natural look. I can go many months after seeing him, and my color still looks natural and blended. I also have a friend who has grey hair, and her color makes her look 15 years younger. While he definitely excels in color, his haircuts are the excellent too. He has found the best cut for my hair type, and face shape. I now repeat it constantly, and I don’t have to go back right away either. It grows out beautifully. Thom Deem gets my highest recommendation.

Always a great cut! Thom is the only one I trust my hair with! Let’s see, I’ve been going to Thom since 2006/​200s7ish. Way back when he was in Westood and around the corner from Brewco. I have thick hair that grows way too fast and according to Thom, very healthy hair. I need someone who has the foresight to cut it right so that when it starts to grow like weeds I don’t have to worry about it looking super gross. I need it to be lighter and easy to manage. Heavy hair takes way to long to dry and manage and is inconvenient for my field work.
I am the laziest girl when it comes to hair. I don’t blow dry it out or style it. Ask Thom, by now he knows this. He tried so many times to get me to do fun things with my hair… but boring me wouldn’t upkeep it. I’m able to get away with only 1 – 2 visits a year. That’s how lazy I am. But he makes my hair look amazing! Layered and always perfect for my style — the roll out of bed and go style.
Over the years, I’ve followed Thom from Westwood to Beverly Hills to Santa Monica to his newest location in Santa Monica on Main. He’s friendly and witty. Someone I don’t mind talking with for an hour or so while my hair is getting done. Despite moving to Colorado, I’ve still managed to see Thom twice (Nov 2012 and last week) and haven’t been to anyone else!

Thom has been a life saver in helping me keep my light blonde hair! I have been to a lot of stylists and Thom is by far the best colorist I have found. He knows exactly what I want and gets it right every time! He is a such a personable person and really listens to your needs and wants, I would definitely recommend him to anyone! Thom has been coloring my hair for the past four years, and I couldn’t ask for a better hair dresser. I have had him cut, color and even style my hair for sorority events. He does incredible work with my blond high lights and I always walk out of there feeling like a million bucks! Thom is always flexible with my schedule and willing to find time for me. On top of it all, I look forward to getting my hair done just to see and chat with Thom… it doesn’t hurt he’s such a silver fox :) I highly recommend Thom for a great hair style/​color/​cut as well as an upbeat and comfortable environment. You can’t go wrong.

Thom does a fantastic job on keeping me a flaxen blond (under it all I used to be a brunet!) His coloring abilities are fantastic, he as taken the orange out of my color and it is not «Brassy» He does a great job with my base, highlights and hair cut It looks good right our of the chair and stays that way! I get many compliments on the color and cut. Thanks to Thom, my hair is in very healthy condition, not damaged. I highly recommend Thom Deem! He is very flexible so its easy to make an appointment, and I love the location and the parking at Salon Pomp in Santa Monica. Parking underneath YIPPEE!
