Zumba with Rita

Rita is so energetic and an amazing Zumba instructor. You can tell she loves what she teaches. Her positive energy and spunk radiate when she dances. I like that she takes time to get to know her students and she doesn’t spend all her time dancing on stage but comes down and dances with them

Rita is the best Zumba teacher and a sweetheart too. Her class is fun, challenging and a great workout!

I attend at Santa Monica Place on Saturdays. Zumba is like a party drug. You are dancing not really exercising, but wait what’s that, sweat, muscles, hey this is a workout! I go withdrawals if I miss a week. This is a great start to my weekend. If you are looking to jump into a routine I would begin here. Now that I have established the baseline, I am looking to add weights and additional cardio until I can get back to my Happy Zumba place.

Zumba with Rita is exactly what she describes — «Exercise in Disguise.» It’s the most fun workout I’ve ever done. Love Rita’s music, love the dance routines, and love that I’m getting fit while having a blast.

I just started zumba for the first time in my life a few weeks ago and rita’s class rocks.
i go to the tuesday 2 30pm class in the capoeira basoura studio. she has so much positive energy and encouragement and makes me feel like a star even when i’m doing all the steps wrong!
it’s super fun and i leave drenched in sweat — so its a great work out for me without feeling like a work out.
it has become the highlight of my week.

Rita is the best!

Rita is an excellent teacher. She gives a great work out, but keeps her students safe from injury! One of the most well rounded teachers around!

I just took Rita’s class for the first time this Sunday and it was great! I felt immediately welcomed and I liked this low-​key studio and Rita’s enthusiasm for zumba. She is very spunky and energetic and it is felt through the whole class, which makes for a very energetic and fun workout. I really liked the way Rita interacted with the class and made sure that everyone was comfortable. I will definitely go back soon and would recommend this class to anyone who wants a fun workout on Sunday morning. It really kicked the day off on a positive foot for me, which was nice.

Rita is awesome! She really makes you feel comfortable and gives you a great workout without it feeling like work.
The classes are very reasonable compared to others I have seen. Tons of street parking available and right next to Starbucks so you can recharge right after.

Just started Zumba last week and have attended 3 classes to date now. Rita is exactly what I needed for the Sunday (10am) and Monday (9am) morning zumba workout! She’s super cheery, energetic and has a really good flow of the hour workout. She does some warm up stretches, kicks it into high gear, and cools you off with some more stretches and breathing exercises. For me, it really doesn’t feel like i’m working out until the song ends because my mind is too damn concentrated on what’s going on! Don’t get me wrong, the steps are totally doable because it’s so repetitious… but some of the moves are fun and fast and I just want to keep up!
Right now, the class is $ 10/​person (cash that you put in a can when you enter the studio), or (I just found this out today) you can prepay 10 classes at $ 90.
The class size now is super small (2 – 3 people) and totally awesome for new people like me who need the extra attention. You can’t beat it!!!
Free parking in the back and I see that there’s a menchie’s frozen yogurt being built 3 suites down. Sweet!
You’ll build up a nice sweat with an hour of zumba with Rita… but not to the point where you’re too exhausted and afraid to come back again.
Aimed for going to zumba 2 x a week. So far so good!

I took Ritas class and if you like to move this is the class for you. I exercise alot and this class even kicked my butt. Good job Rita

Took this class Sunday morning at 10am on May 30^th and it was FANTASTIC! I was looking for a fun fitness class where I could work up a sweat, get stronger, have a good time, and not be overly concerned with memorizing difficult moves. My dad had gone and invited me. We both had a great time, and Rita is a very talented instructor. Highly recommend. I’ll be going back next week. James.
