**Review is for the Phở.(5A-Small) First thing I noticed is that they raised the prices but the food quality isn’t as good as it once was. I haven’t been here for several months and I used to love this spot and didn’t mind paying for the already high price for a bowl of phở back then. I’m giving it one star due to the poor quality of the stake phở(the only thing I get), I had few pieces of meat and sadly the once tasty, pull-apart meat is now hard and overcooked, the noodles and broth wasn’t anything special anymore. It’s definitely not worth the price. I couldn’t even finish my bowl of phở due to the flavor and I just finished up my zumba class and I’m hungry… I missed what this place used to taste like.

Friendly service, yummy fresh roll and crispy rolls. I enjoyed the Phở very much. The only thing I would change is the Jack fruit in the dessert could be fresh rather than canned, and it should be cut small enough to eat… but the dessert was unexpectedly and uniquely delicious! I highly recommend that you try this place out. With gluten free and grass fed dishes you can’t get anywhere else it is the place to go for me now!!! note: they only have beer on the menu but you are welcome to go to the store next door and buy wine and bring it in the restaurant! They say many people do so… and we did!

This is my favorite local vietnamese restaurant. It’s reasonably priced and most importantly, the food quality is excellent. The best vegan dish is the lemongrass tofu, yum!!!

Combo beef phở is fresh and very flavorful. Fresh spring rolls are packed and some of the fattest rolls around. Lemongrass tofu was also good. Clean little spot with excellent service.

Their food is really good. Some of the best phở I’ve had in a really long time with very clean flavors and high quality ingredients. I understand that the beef is grass fed and the veggies are organic. The summer rolls are freaking huge! I highly recommend checking this place out for your phở cravings.

We love their chicken wings and chicken phos– really good. We go here because they use all-natural, no-hormone meat. They have some organic options on the menu.

i am a phở-aphile…i feel like the star trek mantra, in that i boldly go and search out new phở and new civilizations! hahaha… so each restaurant has unique qualities that set it apart from others in the«hood»…phở crazy is a little off the beaten path but actually freeway close at hwy 12 and dutton… as always, its in a little mini-mart next to a dry cleaners… the fresh spring rolls were awesome, with shrimp and veggies just bursting in the wrapper! a wonderful peanut sauce with fresh pickled veggies on top… mmmm sooo good! i think these are some of the best spring rolls ever! next up is a small beef steak phở… this is what i order for comparison to other vietnamese restaurants… excellent broth, rich and savory… great noodles… and the best meat i’ve seen used in steak phở anywhere! almost like they use tri-tip or a better cut of beef than other places… omg! i think i have to go there right now for lunch! my mouth is watering… hahaha… guess i’ll be writing another review update shortly!

The Fresh Rolls were spectacular. The Chicken Phở Soup was excellent but could have had more vegetables. Overall, top of the line place. You need to check in out

As a Seattle native, I’m used to a much larger selection of Asian, and by extension, Vietnamese restaurants than Santa Rosa offers. I was so pleased to find Phở Crazy recently — it’ll be my go-to for good Vietnamese from now on. I tend to order phở when I eat Vietnamese, and Phở Crazy has reliably good phở. Noodles are nicely and not overly cooked. Beef, if you order one of their beef options, is fresh-tasting and tender with a great texture — some of the best meat that I’ve had in phở. The broth is not as full-flavored as I’d like, but it’s probably because there’s no added MSG. It’s still excellent. Fresh rolls are pretty standard, though the sauce that comes with them is pretty good. Chicken wings with sauce, if they have them, are awesome — crisply fried and coated in complexly sweet sauce. One small phở should be enough for a good meal, but if you’d like to round it out I really recommend their che, a mix of coconut milk, pandan jelly, lychee, jackfruit and palm seeds. The different flavors and textures work supremely well together for a refreshing dessert. The owner is usually there and has always treated me and my dining companions nicely. She has a lot of pride in her food, and does all she can to make her customers happy, which I appreciate! So glad to have discovered this place. I’ll keep coming back for sure!

I only come on Unilocal when I feel the need to give credit to places that deserve it. I’ve only ever ordered take out from here so I’m not sure how the dining experience is. Everytime I order my take out though it’s perfect! Portions are perfect! They also give you utensils. Chopsticks, fork, spoon. I love the sauces that are added as well. They have also never forgotten an item I’ve ordered. I would love to actually sit here and eat but my togo is always so perfect I might just wait.

When I visited Santa Rosa, I was really craving Vietnamese food and stumbled upon this hidden gem! Not only is the food delicious, but it’s organic. You can’t say that much about Vietnamese restaurants. Our server Tom was also really helpful as I wasn’t too sure what to order. He was very attentive and suggested all of the delicious dishes that we devoured. We ordered the lemongrass chicken, combination phở, and fresh spring rolls. I will definitely visit Phở Crazy again as the food is amazing, the service is great, and it is organic. Definitely a must try when in the area. Yum!

We have a lot of really great Phở restaurants here in Sonoma County, but of them all, Phở Crazy makes theirs with the freshest local ingredients. Crisp Vegetables and locally grown meats contribute to their great tasting items. On our most recent visit, we started with the Fresh Roll as an appetizer. Steamed pork, tiger prawns, and fresh greens were wrapped in(edible in case you’re a novice) rice paper and served with a very tasty peanut sauce with some julienned vegetables. I had the Wonton Soup with added steamed vegetables and egg noodles. A tasty delight, the wonton were lovely flavorful pork dumplings. The steamed vegetables were fresh, crisp, and flavorful. The egg noodles were satisfying and added a nice bite. My wife had the Spicy Lemongrass Beef Noodle Soup(Bun Bo Hue). A strong hint of spice and a tasty broth complemented the natural top sirloin in the soup. Phở Crazy is in a small strip mall just off Dutton avenue and the 12 freeway. The parking lot is busy, but we’ve always been able to find a place to park. Bottom line: for tasty, fresh Phở prepared with local ingredients, you can’t beat Phở Crazy

This is a first visit and I asked what I should not miss. Jessica was very helpful. We started with the fresh rolls. They were ample size and very tasty with the peanut sauce. I had the Spicy Lemongrass Beef Phở. The broth was very rich and flavorful. Besides the brisket it had thick slices of a Vietnamese sausage. Wow, that was something new and I loved the variety of flavor it brought to the dish. It came with the usual accompaniments and a little dish of chili paste and a gray sauce which had a mild fish sauce flavor. I will make sure to add some of the gray sauce next time too. My husband had the Wonton Soup and was very happy with it. In fact he did not even give me a taste. He was fully immersed in the moment. I love that the vegetables are organic and the meets are grass fed, fresh and hand cut, not prepackaged. Excelent

Food is alright but one of the previous reviewer is right. Portion is rediculous. Cubed steak is $ 14.00 and pretty much came with maybe 2 – 3 Oz of beef. They used a lot of salad and bell peppers to fill the plate. Phở is good though.

Oh my gosh, this place is the best! You have to order the lemongrass tofu. Even if you don’t usually eat tofu. It’s amazing! Best place in town, hands down

Everything here is great! I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered here. My only real«complaint» is I wish the portions were larger. However everything being organic and gluten free I understand why they’re not. If they were I’m sure they would cost far more. So I can’t recommend enough the quality of food here!

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Santa Rosa. It’s even better than many of the Viet restaurants in San Francisco and San Jose. This chef can cook. Everything comes out perfectly cooked. I used to go to Simply Vietnam in Santa Rosa but this is my new go to for Phở and other grilled meat dishes.

I’ve been here several times now so this is not a «one time impression» review. They make great phở and the fresh spring rolls are the best I’ve had in the Santa Rosa area. I will agree with some of the other reviewers that the prices are a bit higher than one would expect, but then again, as with another phở restaurant in town, I don’t have to pluck out just about every piece of meat in the phở because they really are just hunks of pure fat. Disgusting.

Good atmosphere inside; staff are friendly and food generally taste good. But the portions are crazy small for the amount of money they charge you. I mean $ 9.75 for a small pork phở noodle soup that literally has 4 slices of pork, some green onions and a tiny amount of noodles. Feeling ripped off, anyone? Sure the food tastes good but is it worth how much you’re paying — absolutely not. I can get almost twice as much food for the same price else where. Phở crazy is truly crazy when it comes to their pricing.

The change of ownership has taken the food to a new level! Fresher, more flavorful food has pushed this restaurant up the phở food chain, and it now serves some of the best Vietnamese food in the county, IMHO.

Great spot! Looking forward to coming back and trying the phở. I had a house special stir fry with crispy noodles and the flavors were pretty good! Decent prices. The sauce was a little gelatinous for my taste but the side of sauce with the jalapeño slices was an awesome addition. Four stars for service and atmosphere, but with so many awesome Vietnamese places in town, the food doesn’t deserve five stars.

I was really impressed by this little Phở shop. The staff were friendly and efficient, the restaurant clean and the noodles just right. I’ll definitely return to try some of their other dishes. Great place to grab a quick bite or hang out talking to friends.

I really don’t like giving one star reviews. Let me tell you about my experience this evening. I walked in tonight to order something to-go. This was my first time ever stepping foot into Phở Crazy. When I entered, I picked up a white folding to-go menu. I was instructed to put that one down and get one from the front counter. One of the girls behind the counter said, «Our boss is cheap. He not made new menu yet. Dis one newer. He is cheap white American. But he can spend all dis money on new camera. Look at all of the camera.»(As she pointed to the ceiling) Ummmm…excuse me? Cheap White American? I am a white American. Alrighty then! There were 2 girls behind the counter. One that spoke little to no English. And another that spoke a few more words of English than the other girl. I asked for a «Phở Noodle SOUP with vegetables & tofu». I explained I had a cold and really wanted noodle SOUP. One girl pointed to the #16. Which had veggies and tofu. I noticed that there was rice in the description. I asked if I could have noodles instead of rice. No problem. I also ordered spring rolls with tofu. The total came to $ 17. Gave them $ 20 and told them to keep the change. The order came out about 25 minutes later.(There were only 2 people dining in) She said, «Your order ready. Spring roll, right?» I said, «Yes…and Noodle SOUP with vegetables & tofu.» I said, «My total came to $ 17 with the soup too.» She proceeded to argue with me and said I ordered the #16(which was recommended… since I emphasized, Phở Noodle SOUP with tofu and veggies) I was then corrected and they said, I should of ordered the #18(chicken noodle soup) and substituted chicken for tofu and veggies. I then asked if I could just order a large container of broth/stock. It took another 5 minutes for me to explain what a broth or stock even was since they couldn’t understand what the heck I was saying. I explained, «don’t remake the dish. Just add the container of broth so I could just throw it in a bowl when I get home.» She proceeded to argue with me again why I couldn’t order a container of broth because the #16 wasn’t a soup dish. I was completely pulling my hair out at this point. Once the girls understood, they brought me out a large container. And charged me an additional $ 4.00 for a quart of broth. So, my dinner is now a $ 24 dinner. I really don’t like giving one stars. But this place was unbelievable. I should of known right off the bat when they were ripping on their boss calling him cheap. This place was also over priced for what it is. Unfortunately, I probably won’t be going back because of that lack of communication.

Location is the former Anh Linh restaurant, which served mediocre Viet Namese food. New owners have done minimal room changes. Dining room is adequately clean and tastefully decorated. Though the corridor leading back to the toilets is littered with boxes, assorted junk and a daybed! Hey owners, clear out the clutter! My lunch: Combination beef phở and a shrimp/pork spring roll. Phở broth is immensely intense. Tastes like they baked at least 20 pounds of bones to make the bullion. The broth also was fairly spicy with jalapeño chili. The soup ingredients all had snappy fresh taste. I was told that the meats are all-natural, grass fed. The noodles were toothy. The meat combo quantity was generous. The side plate of mung beans, basil leaves and lime were crispy fresh. Spring roll was also generous in girth. At $ 4 it’s a best bargain. The roll wrapper had the right amount of chewiness and lightness. All the innards were fresh & delicious. Service folks /owners were all happy, pleasant, helpful. I like all the Viet Namese restaurants in Santa Rosa(Kettle’s, Phở Viet Nam, Simply Viet Nam). But gott’a admit that the food here is as good or better than those restaurants. Prices are a smidge higher than the competition. Worth the extra $ or 2.
