The food continues to be great with good service. But they allow people to bring pets in. These are not service dogs. Emotional support dogs are not allowed in restaurants. No. Emotional support animals are only intended for in home companionship, whereas service dogs are given unique access to both private and public establishments.

Great staff and pretty good food at a reasonable price. Décor is unique but I liked it. Breakfast and lunch served all day. I had the Reuben which was tasty. My friend had the tuna salad and said the tuna tasted good. If u can get tuna right then that’s a great sign.

The food is great. However every time I’m here, the waitstaff is really pushy and impatient. I was having breakfast with a couple friends but one friend was running late. The waitress was very impatient with the fact that the third person had not arrived and asked us to order for her. Then we were given the bill at the same time as our food. To make matters worse before our bill was returned, the waitress asked us to move our conversation outside because they needed the table. I told her as soon as I got my debit card back we would just leave. I don’t think I’ll return here. I just don’t feel welcome.

Slow service. Food is mediocre. They burned the toast and two of three hamburger buns. Really not good and prices are high given the quality.

this place is one of the best breakfast spots to try! They have the BEST corn beef hash & eggs i’ve ever had. They also have the BEST eggs Benedict i’ve ever had. this time i had eggs benedict, with spinach and jalepinos added. BOMB!!! they have excellent customer service as well, this place is legendary. They ALSO serve the most amazing burgers EVER! I had the blue cheeseburger, added jalepinos and it was phenomenal.

A great example of what a small diner should be… great friendly service, good food, wide selection, and good prices. Just a local eatery, but with pizazz and style… well worth a visit.

The food was good! However, there were flies everywhere inside! Kinda weirded me out a bit, but maybe that’s where all the flavor comes from :) I had a tasty omelette with hash browns. It did not disappoint. Good, friendly service and pretty decent coffee. If I ever pass through Santa Rosa again, I will have to try again to see if maybe someone accidentally left the door open and all the flies in!

**You know this is a great café when you take a flight into Santa Rosa just to come eat their breakfasts.** When I lived in SR I frequented Piner café several times a month and would always bring my out of town guests to eat breakfast here. The portion size are perfect where you get the most bang for your buck. For breakfast menu — The omelettes, French toasts, pancakes, Eggs Benedict are simply delish! If you have kids the hamburgers and fries are good too but their milkshakes will have a kid wanting to come back for more. Every time I come to Piner Café the staff is always friendly and accommodating regardless if they are slammed with people waiting out the door. Recently I moved to Los Angeles and the one thing I can appreciate about Piner Café is that they embody what a diner should be and when you go there you are going to get a good home cooked meal which big cities like LA totally lack! Every time I come to Piner Café I always say I want to film a movie scene here because it is a magical little gem!

A small, family-style diner serving middle-America food. It’s bland but filling. The décor is like Carter is still president.

This place is great. My review is specifically on their breakfast. That’s all I go there for. The corn beef hash is amazing!!! They cook it perfectly. It gets this delicious crust that is perfect with a runny egg. I absolutely love their hash. The best I’ve ever had. I order it every time. The service is great. The ladies work very hard and quick to get to each table in a timely manner, all the while delivering great customer service, all except for one older blonde server. Looks and acts like she hates serving people. You’re probably in the wrong line of work lady. But all the other servers are so very nice and I won’t stop coming to this café because of the one bad apple. Next time I won’t sit in silence when not getting good service. Anywho, The food is cooked and delivered to your table quickly. This place gets packed for breakfast every single day and I am always impressed with how good the service is. They have really good deals and prices are perfect. Also the pancakes are delicious and super fluffy(I tried a few bites from my daughters plate). This is a must try place. I will have to try lunch and dinner sometime but I don’t know if I can go there and not have the corn beef hash. Lol.

Got a really bad attitude from owner? Older lady manager? Not sure her position but first thing she did was roll her eyes at me and my fiancé when she came up to the table.(I’m Irish and my fiancé is Hawaiian/Japanese) we ordered a light beer and hot tea, as we sat there for 5min. Waiting to order our food and get our drinks In the nearly empty restaurant I looked behind the counter and she was filling ketchup bottles. So we left and will never return. I got a very racial biased feeling from her. I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star.

Nice service and nice food. My boyfriend ordered the double patty burger. He is a burger lover and swore that that burger was the best he ate during the time we spent in America. I ordered the grilled marinated salmon, with a complementary salad as a starter, warm mixed vegetables and potato wedges. Good choice, but the salmon could have been less dry and the marinade less sweet. In this restaurant you get a lot of nice food for good prices.

Now why isn’t this place called the Piner Diner? seems so obvious. I visited a friend up in Santa Rosa. We had been wine tasting the day before — so safe to say we needed a diner breakfast, and this place sure hit the right spot. I got the french toast sandwich(french toast — which I upgraded for $ 2 to walnut cinnamon french toast), 2 eggs, 2 sausages. My man(at my urging) got the chile relleno casserole and man I will dream about it. The eggs were soufflé-like and just the right amount of heat and plenty of cheese. The hash browns were a bit of an(under-cooked) miss — but the casserole made up for it and then some.(maybe order it with French fries instead?) They really make sure you have lots of coffee — coming by several times to refill, and I always ask for a «huge glass of ice water» and this time they delivered — fantastic. Oh and important to note they serve the best kind of french fry — the crinkle cut! It is on my rotation now whenever I drive thru Santa Rosa. Lisette our waitress was a sweetie.

A tiny spot hidden away in an industrial park near the highway in Santa Rosa. We arrived a few minutes before 8 and were lucky enough to score a table since we were only two people. Several groups of 4 were waiting. Things were a little hectic since one of the servers had just arrived and they only have two servers for their first hour(they open at 7). This place is popular with locals and the food is good and relatively inexpensive. My wife ordered just one pancake which was the size of a plate-she couldn’t even eat half it was so much food. I had the most amazing cinnamon walnut French toast made from this rich bread loaded with walnuts and rich cinnamon and sugar. We worked the secret out of our server– they get the amazing bread from Costeaux French bakery in Healdsburg. Definitely a must have if you are near by.

Another locals diner spot with a hearty breakfast. Not being a local, I guess we stood out when we walked in. But the waitress let us know right away to sit any where. It’s a little dark and overly decorated. But it’s all about the big breakfast and friendly service. And was just down the street from our hotel. Portions were large with reasonable prices. I had a tough time finishing a single pancake, I swear it was the size of a hubcap. But it was fluffy. My hubby enjoyed the omelet loaded with fresh veggies. It filled over have the plate. The Piner is so low key the daily specials were hand written out. It was like eating in Grandma’s kitchen
