Terrible experience. Came here for lunch and they couldn’t even get my order right. Drove all the way home to find out they gave me the wrong burrito. My daughter enjoyed it even though it was wrong but I found it disgusting. I ordered a shrimp taco as well and the shrimp was over cooked. Barely any crème sauce and burnt Pico. I hate to give bad reviews but I couldn’t let this fly.

The last few times we came here EVERYTHING was horrible. Not only was the food bad, they couldn’t even get our orders correct. Never going back.

Lastly I discovered a really excellent Aloberto café around San Paul that is much like Chile Pepper/Mr. G’s in Yuma. They have really excellent tortillas. Bread asada chips are the crap. I got the machaca burrito, vegetable and dairy products burritos and Florida burrito, all of which were amazing and delicious. Getting excited about going returning again. I’m just scared I’m going to get really fat now, lol. Also, their support was amazing. It wasn’t active at all too but they were very awesome and useful when I requested concerns about things on their selection. Strongly suggest verifying this position out if you’re in the feelings for Spanish meals.

Newest taco shop in Santee, replacing Lucio’s III. Inside the Best Buy parking. Same set up as before plenty of seating inside. This place is not a retread or owners just changing the name of the place. Whole new menu, normal taco shop menu, with only a couple of items I haven’t seen in the area, menudo, and mini tacos. I got a Cali burrito $ 6.25. They have a full salsa bar with habanero, red, green and hot carrots. The habanero is super danger orange, not much flavor except, deep burn in the back of my throat. The red salsa was bland/hot/earthy and the green is by far the best. Got my massive burrito( ), was originally thinking it was over priced, but size wise your getting your moneys worth. The burrito was fresh, burning fresh! Inside Carne, fries, sour cream, gauc, and pico. After cooling down, the carne was good and juicy,. The fries were not crispy but I think the heat of the carne made them soggy and cooked the pico and I should have pulled it out the pico. Decent burrito, If I do go back I will try a just a carne burrito, and maybe leave out the pico. Taco shops need good salsa and the salsa here just didn’t do it for me…

This place is pretty good. I stopped in early on a Sunday morning and had a chorizo burrito for breakfast. I do not eat these often, perhaps only a couple a times a year, but morning was one of those times. Yippee… The burrito was of average size and I tried it with their green and red hot sauce( ). The eggs and chorizo were well mixed and cooked and the cheddar cheese melted throughout the burrito( ). The chorizo was milder than the ones I have experience, but it was still very good. The flour tortilla was great. It came piping hot with a soft buttery texture. I tried hot sauce, and they were both mild and had good flavor. I did not try their habanero hot sauce because, well because the guy told me it was hot! The two guys who were working were cool. They have some good deals, like you can get any burrito with a drink for $ 5.00. I like the fact, even though my burrito didn’t come with it, that they use Cotija cheese on many of their items.
