Taco Bell

I usually never go here, this time I decided to go because is on my way home and was my lunch hour. I decided to try the app and be proactive. I was supposed to pick up my order on the drive thru. The drive thru lane was out of control all the way out on the street (Mission Gorge) and decided to walk in. No line whatsoever inside, apparently the mngr was cashiering at that time, he seemed not to know how to retrieve the order from the app, then they started making my order, the girl was fast, BUT she didn’t do the order right so she had to re do it again. At this point 20+ mins had already passed from my 1hr lunch. Once the girl had done my order right, the «Manager» said to me… –Nxt time don’t get out of line and stay on your spot! (meaning not coming in if i had set up my order thru the DriveThru)… then right after he said — that is not always the smart thing to do… for which i replied, the only reason I did that was because the drive thru lane was out of control. Instead of taking ownership of the poor customer service he provided and the lack of professionalism by telling me that in front of customers waiting in line. This so called Mngr was not wearing a name tag and couldn’t get his name because as soon as he told me those things, He immediately bolted to the back of the establishment. For this one reason only I will avoid to go to this place, if there is one thing I’m big about is Customer Service and the way problems and issues are handled. Obviously this place lacks this if that «guy» is on the Mngr position leading by example. Shame they have posters every 3ft advertising to start a career with Taco Bell. I wouldn’t even have that as an option to a friend or someone I know who might be looking for a job.

Employees are some snakes. Been getting the 5 dollar box cuz they are good. And I been trying to get the gold ps4, but for some reason every time I enter the code it say it’s already been used. I tried it with 6 different boxes and they were all used. Employees are probably putting in all the codes themselves. No other explanation. It’s b.s.

Came thru last night to get my Mexican pizza fix (oh they are soooooo good!!!) and some other things and the server was polite. A little pushy but polite. Kinda felt a little hurried at the speaker box but hey, its fast food and I understand that they have to get things moving in the drive thru. When I got to the payment window, the young man there was polite and very careful with the money so good job for him. The food window, well thats another story. Not bad service but the little blonde twiggy tweaker made things really uncomfortable. She was noodle grovin around and seemed to step all over her words. Hey maybe this works for the speed of service but it gives this place a bad name and reputation.

I would not even give 1 star. 7÷9÷15 I went thru drive thru and ordered the steak catina bowl which I have ordered previously. I live about 6 minutes away, and when I went to eat meal, the lettuce was so bad I could not believe they were passing it off to customers. It was old, some pieces brown and yellow, some slimmey black, etc. Unfortunately when I took it back and showed them, they could see what was wrong. I had to point it out and pick up the slimmey lettuce and the bad pieces and show him and he told me it was from the heated meat in the salad. I told him it doesn’t make the lettuce go bad like that. No appologies till much later when another customer came in, and then a poor one. Bad customer service when usually it is ok here.

Not bad, not great. A few classmates and I had a craving and so I ended up going here on their recommendation. Ordered the Doritos Loco taco box. It was actually a rather large meal. Wasn’t expecting that. The taco was good. I don’t think the regular taco was necessary but it filled me up. The team manager (I forget her name now) was really helpful, though she described the boxes available rather quickly like a seasoned veteran, though it wasn’t helpful to me in making a quick decision. Tried a «Ninja Turtle» drink on her recommendation too. That wasn’t bad, though really sweet.

Great customer service. everyone is very friendly. our food came out to us in a timely manner. Our order was right & the food tasted good.

The worst. I went here for breakfast, there was a small sign on the speaker that said closed for repair. So I went inside, no sign on the door, and some old guy stares at me and walks off. A young lady chopping celery or something completely ignored me. The guy fixing the soda machine told me they were closed, despite the door being open and it was past the time noted on the door. Thanks for wasting my time Santee Taco Bell.

Ehh. Never gets our order right. Ever. Food quality is what you would expect from Taco Bell.

Seems like I can’t use the Smart Phone APP unless I let Taco Bell access all my contacts. What a NO WAY is that. Why does Taco Bell need ALL my friends Info just so I can buy a Taco???

I drive out of my way to go to this Taco Bell. They always make my food well. And the people are nice to me at least. Love this Taco Bell!!!

Been going to this place for years, but I encountered a rude manager! When I had asked for cheese on the side the manager he was rude and condescending by «saying it going to cost you!» No shit, I know asshole!

I had to buy a taco to get 4 quarters to air in my tires at the adjacent gas station
Why 5 stars?! Fastest drive through ever!!! Had 3 cars in front and don’t think my wheels stopped moving, I was the snag in getting my money out.

How can you not be open at 8:30 AM? I know, I know — it is Sunday. But how can I get to a fourth meal if I can’t start with my first? I had to go to the one on Navajo to take care of my «non-​authentic-​mexican food» craving — they open at 8AM. This was after finding out that Emma’s was closed on Sundays as well. Sigh…

O Taco Bell. We’ve been coming to this store for years, probably since we first moved to SD in 1994. Throughout the years, they have come up with new gimmicks, new products, and basically have tried every trick in the book. But the reason I come back time and time again is their consistency at this location. They are usually fast, accurate, and friendly. Now I get that this IS a taco bell and not a 5-​star top chef restaurant, but as far as taco bells go, this is a good place.
On the occasion they’ll run out of their popular product at night. Which is understandable. Its after midnight, everyone’s getting the same thing, I get it. But they are usually very helpful, and can recommend a different product for us.
Now over the 18 years that we’ve been coming to this location, we’ve come up with our share of problems here. But 18 years and only having a handful of mishaps?! Not bad! They usually can rectify the problem.
My jam is their Bean Burrito. Its like a buck 49, small, gets to the point. Also, try the dorrito taco. Its delicioso!

Okay, i’ll admit. I’ve never been to or eaten Taco Bell before moving to Santee. The food is great considering it is looked upon as «fast food mexican» food. They even have a special mountain dew flavor thats exclusive to taco bell. Sweet. The first time I ordered I got 2 burritos and 1 order of the cinnamon twists, the cashier was like «that’s $ 3.95.» I pulled out my card and was like «Are you sure thats everything?!» lol. Great place. Inexpensive if you’re not getting the special drinks.

The food is taco bell food. Don’t come walking in expecting food like in mexico.

I come here often… It’s close on weekdays.
The food is never astoundingly good, it’s simply fast food. The service is generally acceptable, unless a specific employee is handling drive through –she forgets to turn her mic off while she yells at other employees, and will take five minutes ‘preparing’ to take your order. That may not sound like much, but this is drive through, a simple order shouldn’t take more than 3 – 4 minutes from start ing to driving off.
All in all, I have no significant complaints, and they’ve only messed up my order once. Mistakes happen in fast food, and I go there a lot, so it’s not a bad ratio.

Taco Bell can be alright sometimes. Some OG crunchy tacos and some chips and cheese nachos can hit the spot and its less than 5 bucks for a meal. The only thing I cant stand about this specific Taco Bell is the way the drive through is set up. They have the menu where you order right at the front of the drive through. With all of Santees monster mud trucks, you can only fit one car in that space at once. It backs up everyone else and its just a clusterfuck. Very poorly designed. I pray for you if you need to exit that parking lot when not going through the drive through.

Ah. They reimaged this Taco Bell recently. Razed it to the ground and built it up all shiny and new!
The food still sucks. :P
