If I could rate this place negative stars, i would. I went in to order the $ 4 special(burger, spicy chicken sandwich, fries and drink). The cashier told me that they did not have the spicy chicken patties so they would have to give me 2 burgers instead. I said that was fine ans we continued with the order. After placing drink orders, the cashier said they would have to charge me $ 0.30 extra per order(per manager’s orders) with an attitude because I would be getting the 2 burgers. I told them to cancel the order and I went elsewhere for better food and service. When I got home, I called and spoke with the manager. She basically had the«what do you expect?» attitude, but did offer to «replace the order»… the one that I told her I never completed. Will not be back

The customer service here is terrible. 2 out of 3 times I go here my food is not ready when I pull up to pay and they tell me I have to pull around out front and wait(which usually is another 10 minutes). They get our order wrong frequently as well. Not the best Carl’s Jr. I’ve been too.

Just got home and found out that my order was wrong and no receipt. Really disappointed. Tried to call store and there was no answer. FYI if you go here, check to make sure they get things right before you drive away!

Tried the Tex-Med Bacon Thick burger and although the presentation was not like the photo advertisements(big surprise… lol) the burger is actually very tasty and good. First time to visit this Carl’s Jr in Santee and happy to say the staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is as clean as can be expected because of the high traffic customers coming in and out. Hats off to the midday crew, although there was a line of cars in the drive thru and a line of people inside, the shift manager seems engage with the needs of every customers making the experience quite pleasant.

This place messes my order pretty much every single time, I shouldn’t have to look through my bag to make sure its right and when I ask them if that’s everything, they look at me like«c’mon man, its not that hard.» I go home my kids open there bags, and I have to go back and get it fixed I mean how hard is if to get a plain burger. Meat and bun that’s it. Well they mess that up regularly, I have to go through my bag, and show them, its wrong, all they do is apologize, only once did manager comp my next meal. Even with that I will NEVER go to that Carl’s again… BOOO!!!

Service sucks! employees are very rude! seems like all illegal Mexicans that can’t speak English. everytime I have gone to this place they have messed up my order. There food isn’t even up to restaurant standards! I have ten years in the restaurant business, I think corporate office needs to look into this location!

Went in to order and the customer service was okay, the lady was a little ugh at first but then became more chipper. I just ordered a kids fry which was a total of $ 1.29, which seemed a little ridiculous. But when I got my fries she didn’t ask if I wanted any sauce like they are suppose to do and there was barely any fries, when I pulled it out of the bag it was half full. The only good thing was that the fries were fresh and crispy! Never going back to this Carl’s Jr.

Meh. I’ve experienced better, staff was pleasent. Food was just eh… had the chicken tenders and jalapeño’s poppers, poppers were pretty disappointing chick was not significantly better.

So this is your typical Carl’s Jr — except this one stood out to me in particular today. It’s New Years and the place was pretty quiet. The employees were nice, probably the nicest fast food employees I’ve met here. In the back corners sat a homeless man bundled in clothes trying to get warm. I buy him breakfast and then watched as other employees also gave him food and water. It is SONICE to see people giving back and this place deserves 5 stars for the absolute generosity the employees showed him! You guys rock — keep it up!

Not sure what happened. I used to go here often because I work nearby. But, lately they just aren’t the same. The last two times I dined here I ordered their chicken salad. The first time I got grilled chicken instead of chrispy chicken. The second time I got cold crispy chicken. For the price I expect to get what I ordered. I really hate getting back to my desk at work only to find that they messed up my order.

So when I get out of work it’s late, my only option is fast food, being sick of jack in the box and McDonald I went to see if Carl’s jr was open late. I was excited to see a sign that says open 24 hours and a light up sign saying drive threw open. I rolled into the drive threw and sat for 5 mins with no one talking to me I drove to the window to see NO lights on inside. So I guess your NOT open 24 hours and I guess your drive threw is NOT open.

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. They get it wrong every time in the drive thru. After not going for a long time I stupidly gave them another shot. They screwed up and so this time I went to get my money back. I found out they charged my card for someone else’s order and when I asked for a credit receipt it was the most difficult thing in the world. When I checked my bank for the credit, there was no credit or original charge, but there was a random new charge for a completely different amount from the same day. I don’t know what is going on there but I will never be back. Their customer service is awful. They really just don’t care. From now on if I want a cheap burger that’s always good with great customer service I’ll just go down the street to In N Out.

Mmmmmmm I love Carls Jr.‘s guacamole $ 6 bacon burger and this location made it soo well with extra guacamole. Yummy. Almost every location I go to gets my fickled order wrong every time but this location does great at getting it right. Good job guys!
