Richard was fantastic and the tour was all and more that was promised. We started from our Wyndhan resort and then took a 30 minute jaunt over to Santee State Park. All the while, Richard was telling us history of the park and the area.
On the trip we saw at least 3 or 4 ospreys, and 2 bald eagles perched high up in the trees. The history that Richard provided as we boated our way around Lake Marion was perfect. Highly recommend.

Leaving out of Santee State Park this 2 hour tour was much more pleasurable than I thought it would be. Richard, our tour guide, was very personable and provided a great deal of information that was very interesting. He pointed out a great deal of wildlife and plant life that was all beautiful. For all of the talking we never felt as though he was talking only to fill the time. There was beauty in the silence. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather. Even if you live in the area, I would strongly encourage you to take the tour to see and learn about an area that you may not have been aware of. Great for all ages, groups or even by yourself.
