Eh. A buddy told me to check this place out so I went for lunch the other day. I had a(cold) chicken gyro, and some random salad. The flavor wasn’t bad but meh, I mean, meh. and more meh. It was on the pricey side. I also remember my table /booth was pretty dirty all around. I didn’t even feel like moving elsewhere though(plenty of open tables), I just wanted to eat my cold, insipid gyro and cry my way back to work. Not a bad place, but as «meh» as they get.

I’ve been coming here for awhile and the chicken from Basil’s is so delicious! I’m not exactly sure what’s in the seasoning, but whatever it is — it’s so good. I love their chicken pita — a warm pita filled with chicken, romaine lettuce, and a very tasty dressing of some sort. The hot wings are also very good with a great flame broiled flavor which in my opinion is better than fried. Service is always very quick and Basil’s is a great place to grab take out for dinner with inexpensive prices. The only thing I wish they would improve upon are the sides. The side portions are pretty small with some items being pretty bland. The pasta salad is pretty good, but everything else on the sides menu could use some sprucing up. The important thing though(the chicken), is phenomenal. Basil’s is awesome if you’re looking for a delicious, quick, and inexpensive meal.

The sides are uniformly dire, but you’re not there for the sides. You’re there for the chicken. It’s delicious, especially the dark meat. My kids, who almost never eat meat, go crazy for this chicken. The pita with honey butter is good too. The only other side I’d want is salad.

Great food and What a sweetheart behind the counter. A little skimp on the meat but an extra buck made up for it. Will return

Yuck — spent $ 40 on lunch to try the chicken, sides, and gyro with my family. Besides the chicken, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING comes out of a can or jar and is processed. Mashed potatoes are the powdery mix, the side salad is smothered with jarred italian dressing, and the«pasta salad» as they call it, is wet noodles with the same dressing as the salad. No veggies, nothing. The gyro wasn’t even cooked properly, the tzatziki was from a jar and the mac and cheese my daughter got she said was the most disgusting thing ever. If you HAVE to under no circumstances go here for any reason — get the chicken and leave. The only reason I gave one star is because yes, the chicken is pretty good, but the breasts are very dry. We will not be back. Sad for a place that claims to be «so good for you» but if you only order the chicken. Everything else on the menu comes with this white creamy processed italian type dressing, or is a miss match of processed food.

I picked up Basil’s chicken after a long day at work, to avoid cooking at home. I got the whole chicken to take home– along with a few sides. The sides were meh, but after all its called Basil’s chicken for a reason. The chicken– delicious. Moist completely through– nothing like the rotisserie chicken from the grocery store. The white meat, per usual, wasn’t as moist as the dark. These people do an excellent job with chicken. Next on my list to try– the gyro.

Yum! I’ve been going to Basils since I was a teenager. I hadn’t been in years(I moved halfway across the country), but I was in town and hungry and happened to be passing by so I stopped in. Its exactly as I remembered it. I got the half chicken with pasta salad and baked beans. The chicken was juicy and had lots of flavor, the pasta salad was cool and has a tasty dressing on it, and the beans are kinda soupy, but that’s just how I like em. This meal also comes with pita bread and honey butter — so good! If you haven’t been — you should check it out!

The chix breast were tasty albeit a bit dry. The spanish rice was really good. The small Greek salad was actually quite large but run of the mill in terms of quality and flavor

If you like tasty, real, grilled chicken at an affordable price, this is where you want to go. This is nothing like the foam«chicken» that places try to pass off as a bird; this is the real deal. If you’re there for lunch be sure to check out their lunch special which includes a leg, a wing and a side for $ 4.99. Mouthwatering. They also have a buffalo chicken wrap that can get a little bit messy but is the best I’ve ever had; freshly grilled chicken tossed in buffalo sauce and put right into a wrap. Yum. Also if you like Greek Salad, be sure to check theirs out. It’s what I call«southern style»(fewer cucumbers and more iceberg lettuce) but it’s tasty & the dressing is to die for.
