Hampton Inn Sarasota I-75 Bee Ridge

WAY OVER PRICED. I’ve paid for way nicer hotels for the same price. The bed was horrible, still have to old spring mattress that you can feel with every move. Pillows were bad, used two and almost felt like my head was still on the mattress. The bathroom was fine but for some reason the coffee pot is located in there… Just hate paying $ 200 for a night and feeling like you got a bad deal. But luckily it was only one night.

Stayed here and the hotel is not the newest BUT it is very clean and the staff is extremely accommodating. It would not surprise me to see the hotel upgraded with the next year or so.
Definitely would stay here again.

Our company stays here often. They are so customer-​service focused, kind, helpful and friendly.
One of the managers Jennifer has helped us with several things. Dustin, who works at the front desk is super friendly and can solve almost any problem! And Miss Rosie, who sets up the complimentary light breakfast is a doll!
I don’t know what time Miss Rosie gets up but she’s always there with a smile on her face and everything is super fresh and super organized and ready to help you start your day! They have a really nice common area also!
While this might not be the newest property that you could stay at in the Sarasota area, you can NOT find kinder more helpful customer service!!!
And having traveled a lot, IMHO, the shiniest or newest anything never makes up for the lack of people support and generous spirit.
We could stay at pretty much any hotel we would like, but this property is the one we choose because of the staff!
And it IS a very nice hotel too! We love that they are proactive about giving you the choice to keep your towels for a day to help with the economy of our water resources and everything in the room is super fresh. All the linens are super fresh and they aren’t stingy on the towels! LOL The amenities in each room are really nice. Our rooms are great and we love they wWe can’t say too many nice things about this property and the staff!

I stay at a lot of Hampton Inns and this is like the rest but the customer service has been outstanding. Good location with several restaurants within walking. Very clean rooms. Can’t say anything wrong about this place. Had a great stay

Worst Hampton Inn in the United States! Stay away from this place. Hot water is intermittent at best. Silver fish in the bathtub. No soap dish. Only one chair for per room. No luggage racks in the room. No microwave oven in room. Scary elevators — they bounce when you reach your floor. Room key must be jiggled in order to enter your room. Only positive thing is the friendly courteous attitude of the staff.

The good news is that the room is clean! Always the MOST important metric. Down side. Last time I stayed here it was $ 107 a night. This time $ 259!!! REALLY??? Same room. Same place. I was told it is because it is «Valentine’s Day» bu – rother! No microwave in room. A super loud «air purifier». The iron is broken and ruined my shirt. Not at all happy paying 2 ½ times my previous rate. I feel like they saw me coming. Since when does the word «hospitality» mean «GAUGE»?

Booked this hotel within a month of my trip to Sarasota, wasn’t expecting much from looking at the photos and pricing but to my surprise, it was a pretty decent place to stay. The location wasn’t that good but the quality of service and the rooms was impressive. Would recommend if planning to visit the area for a few days

I’ve stayed here several times over the years and the service is always top notch. The fitness center has been refreshed, including dumbbells, bench and weight machine.
Nice big lobby with plenty of seating for breakfast. there’s a Starbucks across the street and an Ale House across the parking lot. Plenty of places to eat if you feel like driving and Big Top Brewery is just a few miles away.

The staff, especially Sebastian, were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast spread.

A nice basic hotel. The girl working the front desk was very nice, although she was beyond talkative. I like being greeted by someone with personality, but not someone who wants to tell me their life story while checking me in.

BEGIN RANT
We reserved a handicap room through
as well as another room with a king bed. Prepaid and called to confirm a month before. Upon arrival after 3 hours of driving, neither requests were accommodated.
The king bed, no big deal
The handicap room HUGE deal. The people at the front kept saying they had no record and we should not use
, which was neither here nor there. They pretty much treated all of us like idiots for our genuine need (our handicapped part had a Traumatic Brain Injury)
I asked for us to be notified and they said they would oblige of a handicap room opening.
The next morning when I went to ask, the AM person said there was no record of our issue. When I explained everything, the woman at the front desk only said I should not use

WAIT IT GETS BETTER
We were about thirty minutes from the hotel when my girlfriend’s brother showed up to the hotel.
A) They would not let him check in until 4:30 and it was going to be a smoking room, even though he requested non smoking
B) My Girlfriend was on the phone with her brother who was at the hotel. The room was under my name. My girlfriend talked to them over her brothers cell phone and by simply telling the hotel my name, the front desk gave them a key. WHAT??? How is that for BAD SECURITY?

I gave it two stars and not one because it’s in good shape. If you dont care about security or getting the room you reserved or hospitality, try it out.
