Flavor is excellent, service is a little slow but its worth the wait especially considering the price!

So glad there is finally a legit bubble tea spot on Fruitville! While the prices are a bit high, they definitely don’t skimp on good ingredients here at Kam’s. Other reviews have said they use artificial sweeteners… I didn’t get any of that in my lychee smoothie bubble tea. They used actual lychees, not just the syrup– praise! And the boba is perfectly cooked. They might do better with a more accessible location and perhaps a rewards program? Or maybe that’s just me…(note– I have not had the sushi)

This family restaurant is a hidden treasure along our way from Siesta Key to Clearwater… their drinks have so much variety and the price is amazing too! We had their lunch specials — any kind of sushi rolls, bubble tea and soup! I have to say, their triple-color milk tea is a bomb. It is mixed with red beans, black beans and green beans. so milky and the sugar level is just right if you are not a big fan of super sweet drinks. After seeing how mich time and effort the owners put in making the food and drinks, this place totally deserves 5 stars.

I seldom give 5 stars. However, this place deserves it for the time and effort they put into making their smoothies and drinks. No cheap powder here. I saw fresh fruit cut up and put into the blender. The loud blender is forgivable after you take your first sip and chew the perfectly cooked black tapioca If you prefer the thicker, milky bubble drink, you may not like these as well. This is vegan, icy but very flavorful. There are chunks of fruit and they do not taste like the frozen type. Had mango, lychee, melon. Generous with the bubba and reasonably priced. Too many choices to mention so I took lots of pics for you. They serve food too(sushi) but we did not try it. The small but clean place is a little old house in the corner. Turn at the light. It’s quaint and there is a private parking lot, though small, with a ramp

I LOVETHISPLACE. 20% off on Thursdays and huge portions of sushi. their smoothies and bubble teas are delicious. The strawberry watermelon smoothie topped with fresh fruit is my favorite. Best sushi spot in Sarasota hands down

Excellent bubble tea made from blended real fresh fruit, not fakey flavor syrups. Can be made with no added sugar and still tastes great!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I wasted my time waiting until 10am for them to open, only to find the door locked when I got there. I called asking if they were open because their sign says they’re supposed to be, and I told them the door was locked, the guy laughed at me and said«yeah». I went to Smoothie King and now I’m late to work. Still a better investment than this joke of a place.

Love the bubble tea here, it’s probably one of my top 3 places for tea. I was craving bubble tea while visiting Sarasota, and was so glad to have found this place close by. In a week, I probably visited here 5 times just to get the same drink over and over, Mango Green Tea with boba. The consistency is similar to a slushie and has a strong tea and fruit flavour, which I love. Most tea places just pump a bunch of syrup and diluted tea to create your drink – not this place! If this is your first time visiting Kam’s, keep an alert eye as I must’ve passed this place 3 – 4 times before actually finding it. The business is actually a small house with a very tight gravel parking lot. The atmosphere inside is, well, a house with some tables for dining in. Not really a place for large groups of people; I see it more as a to-go place. Definitely try the tea here!

The sushi was off the chain good!!! But I really didn’t care for the tapioca pearls in the bubble tea.

Great little place, smoothies and boba are good. Owners are really nice. We have gone many times but hate the location and I think this is their downfall. The gravel parking lot and lack of entry points is tough. Black carpet in my cars are a mess so usually avoid for this reason. Hopefully they will move to a better location where their product can shine as I think this location is holding them back. Tried their sushi but not impressed. I think the volume is just not here and the food suffers. Also would love to see traditional boba teas. Just fruit laced green teas with boba. Hate powders and smoothies but love boba!

I love bubble tea but do not like it overly sweet. Here they control the sweetness and ask you first. It’s just nice, had a salmon avocado roll on a Sunday afternoon with mango green bubble tea. Nice combination.

Only ordered the bubble tea here. I got the Strawberry Lychee Boba w/no sugar –the boba was nice and chewy HOWEVER, The smoothie seriously lacked flavor, it was literally a couple of strawberries, 1 – 2 lychees and a shit ton of ice blended into this horrible slushie that isn’t the least bit satisfying. Now you might say that it is my fault for getting no sugar but a smoothie should not get its flavor from sugar alone. I wanted the natural flavors of the fruit. Also the boba was covered in artificial sugar that left a horrible after taste. I am so disappointed… will not revisit. I’ll just wait until I’m back in Cali to enjoy real boba.

When this first opened, I walked in but walked right back out due to the weird, sterile, cold vibe inside. I came back recently with a friend for the boba tea and prices were high, but pretty good boba tea. I still have no interest in ordering sushi here due to the prices and because it’s served like to go sushi from the grocery store and the ambience is off putting.

I did not order Sushi. I only ordered bubble tea. I think I went overboard and purchased: Thai ice tea with boba pearls Green milk tea with boba pearls Red bean milk tea with boba pearls They make good pearls. They taste awesome. My issue is that they use artificial sugar in the bubbble teas and artificial sugar tastes like metal. I couldn’t finish any of the bubble teas because of the fact that they tasted more like: Rusty Nail with boba pearls Dirty Penny with boba pearls Aluminum siding with boba pearls I really want to like this place and I am certain if they switched to real sugar I would return. If you cannot tell the difference between real and artificial sugar, then you shouldn’t have any issues here.

The smoothie reminded me back in Hawaii where they had authentic fruit blend organic Bubble tea smoothies! I had the Chocolate avacado smoothie. WOW was i very impressed! The combination of them both got me addicted to coming back every other day! And to top off with that i had the Dragon roll. The roll was right on delicious. They had the right amount of rice and filling. Can’t get a better dragon roll out there. These two Indonesian husband & wife might not have perfect english, but they a re very knowledgeable in their work and i appreciate them for opening locally in our area. Thank you. For the other negative reviewers, don’t expect this«Togo lodge» to be your typical fancy sushi dine in. It’s really sad to say people don’t have«logic» Mema C, you’re taking the sushi togo, of course it’s not going to look the same by the time its at home. Due to carrying it back and forth as well as temperature. Just because of that you’re going to criticise the taste? Get out of here. Your adding on to your disappointment for the broken roll«YOU» broked yourself, probably in your car ride going home. I am very tired of people being judgemental. Next time, go back and asked if they actually use«canned salmon» because the last time i checked, they are an open kitchen to the guests which they fillet/cut their fish infront of us all. Peoole really need to start appreciating more.

Excellent bubble tea and fresh sushi! I went with a friend who’s gluten free and they were able to make her a special gluten free roll. The service there is great and very inviting! The location is also very nice. It’s in amongst other little art shops which is nice to walk around in after. I will definitely eat here again!

Never going back. Ordered Sushi today and was extremely disappointed. Got the Philadelphia roll, which is usually my go to for sushi… not only were the rolls very poorly rolled, but the salmon was literally canned salmon! The taste was absolutely horrid. As you can imagine, canned salmon… flaky salty and try. Sad that I waisted my hard earned money.
