Mandeville Beer Garden

Awesome beer selection. Beer prices so/​so. Really tasty food. But the bartender seemed to want to serve everyone else in the whole restaurant while I sit there wait and watch. It got really annoying after a while. Could have at least said something about the wait or what’s going on. The parking situation completely blows. The fenced in parking lot gets full fast and if you park too far you’re parking only streets away from crackheads and bums.

Tons of beers on tap and a metric butt load more in cans and bottles. This place is awesome. Get off Main Street and discover better beer and great food. Über here if you have too. One word of caution. If you order a cheese burger you had better like cheese, cuz that mofo is going to be loaded with it. Food great, incredible beers and super staff. Don’t get suckered into the crap trap on Main Street. Use your head and point your feet here. I’m fat and if I walked here from the aloft hotel you can do it too.

I love this place. I have yet to order something I didn’t like… Steak n cheez (whiz), patty melt… Best beer selection!

Rolled in on a Sunday afternoon. Discovered it was Happy Hour until 7p so timing was good. Easy to find and park, good beer selection. Grubbed down on the Club sandwich, very good. They have a ping pong table outside, not something you see often. Looks like the kind of place that could be really fun on a Saturday night. I will be back.

This is the best spot is SRQ for a cold beer and a burger. Waitstaff was very friendly with great service. I’ll be going back to this beer garden until I’ve tried all the flavors of suds.

Fun enough place to take the kids and have them occupied with things to do. As far as the food is concerned $ 14 bucks for a Bratwurst is way over priced but maybe I’m spoiled because I just got back from Germany and had the most incredible sausages and Brats for 3 bucks!!!

Incredible beer selection in a wonderful outdoor setting and great service too. Highly recommend for any beer lover!

Great sitting indoor and outdoor with music and fun games on the outside patio. Many options for local craft beers. Food menu is limited but very taste. Enjoyed all the items we ordered. Played a few games of cornhole. Service was friendly.

Sometimes, I scratch my head. Why does Mandeville have only 4 star, when other craft beer places in Sarasota have 4.5? I dont get it!
I like Mandeville. Part of the reason is that I can walk here from my moms house. but seriously, I do really like this place and would drive here if my mom lived further away. I would love a place with this type of patio in San Diego!
I have been here a few times and always have a good time. The first time, I met a brewer from Cigar City. We still do bottle shares for his beer and beer from San Diego. The most recent time, the wife, myself, and mom played ping pong till late at night.
Great times.
But seriously, the beer here is awesome. I find a lot of beer on tap (and bottles) I cant find in San Diego. The bartenders, and servers, are always friendly and love beer.

Why 4 stars? Iffy food. I prefer the food truck nights (Tuesday) when compared to their own, overpriced menu!

Went 10−24−15. Very cool atmosphere. Great selection of beers on tap. Outside beer garden very inviting during «cooler» temps.
Didn’t eat here but food smelled good. Nice size inside. If I didn’t live in st Pete I’d deff return back here often.

Picked this spot to meet family. Glad we stopped in here. The atmosphere is fantastic. Very busy when we got there, but no problem getting a booth to fit the 5 of us, took our drink order right away, hardly any wait at all. They offer a bunch of different styles of beer, I decided on a cider style beer, I liked it. I ordered the fish & chips, the fish sandwich was very good & tasty, the fries were good & hot. Oh & the menu was easy to read & understand.
They have indoor & outdoor seating, with games outside. Very clean both inside & outside. The bathroom is clean & stocked. The waitress very friendly & attentive, even with how busy it was. For a Sunday night they were super busy, but no problem having a great time. 1^st time here I was extremely please with our experience, will definitely be back. Plenty of parking, they have both a parking lot & street parking, so shouldn’t have a problem parking.

If I wrote a review on every experience I’ve had at Mandeville, it would take more than a couple pages. We’ve been going there a few times a month since the day they opened. They had a rough start but have done an excellent job at working the kinks out. There are always plenty of beers on selection and they continue to be good beers. The food has always been top-​notch. We’re big fans of the German Board, the Steak Sandwich, and all the sales. The staff has gotten better over time and even come to know us. During the winter the outdoor seating area is awesome and great for kids. The owner has been very nice and shows a true interest in our satisfaction. We continue to go back as we love the beer selection and the food quality.

Pros: Amazing beer selection with a knowledgeable staff and a nice atmosphere during the daylight hours.
Cons: I had the pretzel with beer cheese and it was really really bad. I did not know that beer cheese can be made poorly but this was terrible. Also, in the evening, the lights are sooooo bright. Being in a bar at night, light is the enemy. Especially when it seems like there’s a spotlight on you. I don’t know if they have changed this yet, but I prefer happy hour here.

Went for the special flight of barrel aged beers. In addition they had a pork slider special. Staff is knowledgeable. The evening was kid friendly with an open yard area, and ping pong table. Vegetarian selections are slim, but the beer is abundant!

Absolutely amazing local restaurant and bar. There are plenty of beers on tap, but what sets Mandeville Beer Garden from the competition (like World of Beer) is the food. I’ve had a little bit of everything. The apps are great, but my favorite thing on the menu is the Fish & Chips Sandwich. It’s amazing.

Great selection of beer, cool ambience, decent food with a good selection including vegetarian options.
But the best part of the experience was the service. Our bartender, Brian, was excellent. He was friendly, but not overly talkative, had great recommendations, and was attentive right when he needed to be. Top notch service. We’ll be back!

Pretty good experience overall! I just tried this place for the first time and it’s great. They have a ton of beers on tap and bottled that it’s almost overwhelming. However, everything has a category and description to help you make a decision. Food is served as large portions and is really messy. I had the turkey club and my boyfriend had the burger with a fried egg and they were both great. Ginger beer is also really good and doesn’t burn like hell going down like a lot of ginger beers I’ve tried. We liked it!

This was my second time at Mandeville Beer Garden (we came right after they opened) and the only issue we had was how «stuffy» the area inside felt. It is stuffy no more! Last night they had the perfect temp and a little air flowing with the doors open. I ordered my favorite Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale and my friend started with a Duvel Single. For dinner — I had the garden salad with chicken. Perfectly grilled with tons of fresh crispy greens. My friend had the ribeye steak sandwich (I think they have the option to make it more of a Philly Cheese Steak, too) and she said it was delicious! We ended with the giant brownie sundae. You can tell the brownie was homemade because our piece definitely had those classic chewy edges! With so many more beers to try and eats to explore, we will be making this place a regular spot. Great addition to downtown Sarasota!
