Love this place! We always hit it once or twice for brunch or lunch while we’re in town for 10 weeks every winter with the opera. There is a nice outdoor seating/garden area in the back, which is where we sat on our most recent visit. My hub and I had omelettes(mine was brie, carmelized onions and herbs, his was chorizo and other yummy bits). Fresh fruit on the side as well as a toasted croissant. The coffee was damn good too. The service was relaxed, but there wasn’t many customers at the time we were there. Someone kept walking by, transferring baked goods from the storage outside to the bakery sales area inside and asked people how everything was… we assume this was the owner/chef? Not sure though. He sure seemed happy to be there, that’s for sure, and gave off a nice vibe that permeated the place. It was a nice place to be on a Sunday morning, when most places downtown aren’t even open — and the hot spots on the keys are overrun with tourists and snowbirds. Love it!
