I walked into Mastroianni only planning to get an estimate for my wedding dress alterations. It has layers of delicate lace and a paneled lining, so I was really worried that it would be expensive to have altered, especially because his shop feels very upscale. I’ve been through many fittings… this was supposed to be only a research visit, but once he began working, I knew I would leave my dress with him no matter the cost. But I was pleasantly surprised when he said it would only cost about $ 120. The dress was done in two weeks and I was thrilled with the results. In all, if you’re looking for a quality experience from the time you walk in the door to the time you put on your freshly-​altered attire, Riccardo’s your guy!

I needed a dress hemmed for a wedding I was going to. I had no idea the dress would be so long on me until I tried it on the day before I was flying out. The owner was so friendly. Hemmed my dress is less than 24 hours. You would never even be able to tell the dress was shortened. Professional. Quick. Friendly. And good work. I will be using them for all my alterations.

Very Friendly and professional. Needed some pants hemmed in a hurry on spring break. Went to one place on Long Boat and said it would be 10 days. The place on St. Armand’s said it would be 1 week. Decided to try Unilocal.Saw the reviews and comments that they did things fast and called and asked. The pants were done perfectly and in one day. I would go here for alterations if I lived in the area.

Wow. Needed a dress shortened for a last minute event and called around in a panic. The owner was sweet and understanding, he took on the last minute project and said I could pick it up the next day! It was a double layered dress with a very expensive lace which he altered with ease. Very talented man. Worth every penny.
