Our experience was first class. Tons of options, countless possibilities and expert advice from Sandy in Sales to Bill in Delivery. Highly recommended. Beautiful store.

I am so disappointed in the rug I purchased at Rugs for Art. I have had this rug in my family room for 8 years now. The family room gets used however there are only two people that live at the residence. We have had it professionally cleaned when necessay. There are missing carpet areas throughout the rug which are random and not in a high traffic area. We spent about 600+. I will never purchase another rug at this store because I feel the quality of the rug is poor. Disappointed :(

This is only the second review I have ever written about anything. I was so impressed by the inventory and store policies. I was even more impressed by the friendliness of the entire staff. Joe, my sales person, was extremely helpful. I would go out of my way to make this my first stop in search for rugs!!!

Great place to buy are rug or get a rug repaired. We were able to take rugs home to try in our room. Excellent service and they had a lot of patience as we tried multiple rugs before finding the right one.

Great family run business. They’ve been at it for longer than I’ve been in the area. Jesse knows his stuff and will tackle any custom job you can throw at him. The only place in town I’d go back to.

The best rug store in Florida, hands down. Prices are good, service is truly excellent, selection is unmatched. All of us in Sarasota are lucky to have such a great store in town.

My wife and I don’t live in Sarasota, but we only buy rugs when we’re there. Rugs as Art has two main things going for it. First, the selection. Not only is it massive, but it covers everything from the budget-friendly items(which are more my speed, at the moment) to amazing works of art I’d feel bad putting furniture on. Second, they are helpful. Like super helpful. I was having issues with a rug pad leaving marks on my wood floors, and they went out of their way to show me how a natural pad works different than the piece of junk I bought at Target. I was shocked that the price was better! So no more cheap rugs from Pier 1 for me. Despite the upscale feel, Rugs as Art is not just for the über-rich of Sarasota(though they can certainly acoomodate you if you fit in that demographic). :)
