I walk in at 11am with my boyfriend and think to myself… This place smells clean! Yes!!! That means so much to me. lol. Melissa greeted us right away and was a gem the whole time. We’re in town on vacation and wanted to hit a brewery and have lunch before the big cat sanctuary opened. Had a great time and I was actually able to drink their IPA! I guess IPAs up north are just too hoppy for me. The food was also great. I would definitely come back again if I’m in the area. Got the best flight, a pint of the IPA, and a chicken Philly cheesesteak.

Came here for my birthday. Waitress did not out in the order for our appetizer. We got our food and asked for the appetizer to go. She said we’d still be charged. I asked for a manager, git a $ 5 off next visit. Demanded the manager, they still did not come out but got our appetizer free. Then the tried to pack the rest of our food to go right away. Worst service of my life.

Good place to watch the games
We stopped in tonight for dinner. The place was busy but not overly so, March Madness games on the TVs. There seemed to be a little confusion at the start with taking our drink orders but that didn’t delay things for more than a few minutes. For dinner I ordered their SBC Burger, a mushroom and Swiss burger that is one of their most popular. We also got a half dozen wings.
We asked for all the food it be entered and brought out when it was ready instead of appetizer and then entrees, concerned that it would take too long. While not stellar, all the food arrived in just under 15 minutes, which wasn’t too bad either. The wings were delicious. The burger seemed a little bland, but I think part of the cause was eating the burger after those flavorful wings.
The place is a bit dark and when you enter you pass the bar to get to the host. This is a brewery but I don’t drink, so I cannot comment on that aspect. All in all, we like the place and stop in occasionally.

Great food! But awful service! The lady was training a boy and he was very good, she wasn’t as good.

6 beers on tap plus large selection of guest beers. Big menu — wings, salad, pizza, burgers, nachos large enough to share. Vince l, the brew master was gracious with his time. Our server, Kenny was very helpful in making bet selections. Week be back. .soon.

We ordered a pear cider, a holiday harvest ale and an order of mozzarella cheese logs. The cheese logs were delicious, they are mozzarella sticks on steroids ! I highly recommend. The beer was good with hints of pumpkin and spice and you can’t go wrong with Ace pear cider.
Overall a good spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat. Next time we’ll check out their dinner selections.

We went after we arrived in Sarasota to get a quick meal. The place didn’t smell clean but we sat anyway. Unfortunately we were sitting about 15 mins and none of the servers even looked at us, even after waving at them. After I heard two servers complain about the computer systems not working and no one looked at us, we walked out and no one noticed. Terrible service. Can’t comment on beer or food as we never got the chance to try it. Too bad, I like to give breweries a try when I’m new places but I won’t go back.

Wonderful food from Pizza to grilled Tuna. Awesome appetizers– try the Chicken Satay with peanut sauce. O yea! It also is agreat Brewery– try he Sarasota Gold!

Well-​we had high hopes by were let down.
Our appetizers came out quickly and were good (the calamari is delicious and spicy) but out entrees came out after over 30 minutes and were cold. No apologies and water glasses were empty for half of the evening.

We went for the first time after seeing their menu online. Party of 2, we were sat with a food menu (no drink menu which was odd since the intention was to try their beers!). The atmosphere was great for sports. We sat and waited over 10 minutes with zero service while the tables next to us were being served. We waited and did not even get offered waters so we left. *Cool place, cool sports bar atmosphere, Terrible Service, (can’t review the beer because we were never offered any).

My friends and I came and the service was not good. Our checks were wrong and it took 15 minutes to get our checks back. In fact the couple behind us got up to leave because they weren’t even offered drinks or waited on in a 20 minute time period.
The cheese longs are 4 per order and they are large. The Reuben ratio of meat to sauerkraut ratio is poor with excessive sauerkraut and minimal meat.
A beer is $ 5.50 and average.

Beers are good but not as flavorful compared to the other local Sarasota/​Bradenton breweries. Feels like a place where the staff focuses mostly on their regulars and not so much on new customers. Their flight is a really good deal though $ 5 for six 4 oz samples. Will go back again when I’m in the area!

Steak came out medium no red at all fixed that. Great atmosphere good beer as well. Although bartenders are well seem out of place and not friendly. Second came out great on the outside raw cold inside all I wanted was a good steak! Omg tried to tell waitress never mind she grabbed it anyway she is crystal would of been a good day to stay home.

Beers were meh. The price was cheap for the flight that included all their beers on tap. They were all drinkable but nothing rememberable. The food was awful. We sent back the spinach dip and chicken tenders.

Had lunch with my wife & daughter. Ordered a Chicago style Italian beef. Being from Chicago I was skeptical. It was great. Even the fries, crisp on the outside, were great !! I had a rootbeer, made on site. Yumm !! It’s a sports bar so its noisy but we’ll be back ((;

I am a craft beer girl. Beers were ok. I think the porter was the best. Most beers didn’t have a nose on them. I enjoy smelling the favors. That was missing. The bartender was kind and reasonably knowledgable. I did not try the food I was beer tasting. I like the tavern look but the place good use a good scrubbing from top to bottom

Amazing beer selection. We had a great 8-​beer sampler. Happy hour from 4 – 6 with great discounted wings. Potato skins and spinach artichoke dip were AMAZING!

We were searching for a lunch spot while visiting sarasota. We stumbled upon this place. Inside looks like an Irish pub. Our bartender was nice. The beer was okay… nothing to write home about. The garlic honey wings were very good. For an entrée I got the blackened salmon Caesar salad. It was pretty good.

My wife and I were on vacation on Anna Maria Island and happened to be in Sarasota and I looked for brew pubs. Score!
I had two of their beers here and they were both pretty solid.
The place is dark, but makes for great football watching and they sell big mugs that line the ceiling. I would totally be a mug club member here.
We talked with the bartender and the locals here for about 45 minutes about football. Good times.

I’ve been coming to SBC for decades. Last night’s visit was probably the last. The combination of poor sanitation practices and overall level of dirt sealed the deal. The bartender was using glasses that were floating in milky water in a plastic tub by the tap. There was an obvious ring around the tub, just not sure what the ring was.
The base of the beer tap towers is caked in black, and the plastic in the drip trays is cracked and broken. I can only assume that this level of cleanliness pervades the whole place and that scares me.
Plenty of other, cleaner options nearby. That’s a shame, Night Court judge Harry Stone and I both used to love the place.
Here’s hoping they get a chance soon to shut down and scrub the place up.
Ps — the beer’s not bad and the «hot» wing sauce is GREAT!
