just moved here from ny and was looking for my new barber spot /​/​this place hands down is great and i 100% will be coming back everytime !
i had the girl frankie cut my hair gave me a fresh fade !

We drive almost an hour to get a haircut for my son and me from Jose. Best place in the area for a haircut, shave, beard trim, etc. Straight razor bald or new style. Can’t beat the 941! Great place for men, better than gimmicky sport clips.

I chose this place for a first-​time head shave after having long hair for years. My hair had gotten too sparse on top so it was time for a change. Yanella was fantastic, friendly and playful. I got the royal treatment and and she expertly contoured my facial hair to work with the new chrome-​dome look. I left looking better than I had in years. Highly recommended. My only regret is that I can’t go back because I was here on vacation from the NY area.

Just started growing a beard and was looking for a barbershop for haircut and beard trim. This joint is the real deal! Great atmosphere, a friendly staff of skilled barbers. Yanella gave me an excellent cut and got my unruly beard under control. This will be my regular shop from now on. Highly recommended!

You don’t really know how much you were missing until you are here. Rudi certainly knows his stuff and quickly makes you realize that all your cuts before this were simply haircuts. Nice to now be confident that a true master barber is handling the scissors.

Best barber shop in the area! Clean, comfortable, nice area to wait and chill. Ive got my haircut by 3 different barbers there men and women and all have done a great job and had the attention to detail I was looking for. Additional extras are cool too, free beer and drinks and an Arcade to keep the kids busy. Believe it or not I’m a regular customer even after moving to Tampa I drive down once a month.

I was new to town and looking for a real barbershop, and it is that. Had mostly positive experience here a few times. It’s a good shop for guys to be guys. I prefer scissor cut, not chippered, based on my hair type. They prefer lazy, clipper work for boys. Very pleased to get cut and straight shave combo at a lowered, package price on Wednesday.
Administration of shop got weird over handling of fundraiser when Rudi was displeased that I did not wish to purchase tank-​top t-​shirt. Plus his instructions to Jose were nonexistence on how to take $ 20 towards raffle. Rudi is not a tight manager (yet). His confidence exceeds abilities at hand. Time will hopefully fix that. So, you’d be smart to wait a few years before visiting the shop.
I was additionally miffed & dissed when Rudi mocked my white loafer shoes. Chump Buddy’o, this is sunny Sarasota, they are hot Ferragamo, and you are a master punk.

Never have I had a barber that was beyond amazing until I met Rudy. He can make any cut, classic or modern and everything in between to perfection. I noticed my son had a super great stylish pompadour side part and this is how I found Rudy. I’ve had barbers all over Manhattan (I live in Sarasota FL but regularly commute to NYC) and nobody can give the look that Rudy delivers, and he fixes all the mistakes my NYC barbers make. If you care about your look and your style. you owe it to yourself to experience the best barber you will ever meet…

Found this place from all the great Unilocal reviews. My 9 year old had a terrible cut from a «chain» type store a few weeks ago. My son met Jose today and he cleaned up up great! We will be driving all the way from North Bradenton from here on out. Well worth the drive to get a quality cut. He spent a good 30 or more minutes on my son today. They go over and beyond here. This place is amazing!

I recently decided I needed to start getting my cuts done at a place that wasn’t a chain. I found this place on Unilocal.Went onto their FB page too and noticed a friend of mine gets his work done there. Immediate credibility. Everyone there was welcoming but the owner, Rudy, made a point to bring me in, treat me like a new client, cut my hair, and give me some history of the place. Hard to find that level of attention. Not a ton of history at that specific location, however, not all of the classics were written years ago (if that makes sense). Laid-​back and professional: The way all business should be run. 70’s funk playing on the speakers during my cut too. Naturally I’ll be back. Solid experience and I’m confident they make a point to be consistent. Call first.

Barbershop941 was beyond my expectations. They have a great staff and relaxing environment.
Yanella got my hair right! She does amazing work. Right before I hit the chair, she faded a young man cleaner than dish detergent. She is truly blessed at her craft and fun to visit with too!

«The Barbershop941» is the place to get a real man’s haircut. It’s hard to find a great team of barbers and stylists, especially when you’re new in town (like me). Rudy and his team ensures that everyone who comes in leaves and feels like a brand new person. Not only is the cut supreme but the vibe of the shop itself is next to none. It definitely reminds me of the shop I go to when I lived in NY. It has that cool and laid-​back, let’s-grab-a-beer and have my friend give me a haircut vibe. Will for sure be going back.
