Seriously anticipating one of my children attending New College in the future, but as often as possible during my wanderings; I find myself at this café alone. I thoroughly enjoy the welcoming spirit of all who wander through. The food is healthy, espresso delicious, and the company… divine. I hope to see more explorers finding their way to this hidden treasure.

The four winds will be forever dear to my heart. As a student-run café, the excellent vegetarian/vegan fare is served up for bare-bones prices. The menu changes often, but it never disappoints. And for those looking for the old classics(like the«Russian Princess», a bagel with cream cheese, dill, and tomato) or something custom, they’ll happily serve it right up. There is only one problem: the wait. While not as bad as previous years, the Four Winds can have you waiting an hour for a bagel and a panini. It’s inconsistent, but if you find yourself fifth in line, cancel any plans you had for the next two hours to be safe. Of course, last time I went I got everything in 15 minutes. Your results may vary. Drinks are faster. None of this will stop me from going here. Everything is great and really chill, but you should be forewarned.

Cute! This place is not open very often, but it’s kind of amazing. It’s entirely run by students and it’s a great place to get some inventive takes on healthy food, mostly breakfast-y or snack-y, but that’s pretty much how I like to eat. GF and vegan options abound.
