I’ve enjoyed all of my many visits to Yo Sushi! The food is always fresh, and the staff is very attentive. My favorite hot item is the Fire Cracker rice /cold, the Tuna Tataki. Ask for Taylor when you dine-in, she’s very knowledge and professional. Monday’s are $ 3.50 blue plates so check that out too! The concept and location keep me coming back — Diego,(the manager) does a great job keeping his staff focused, and his customers happy! I can’t wait to see this brand grow to other locations in FL.

We were at the mall and saw this place. It’s fun and the food was good and it depends on your ordering style to how much you spend we ordered and chose very reasonable items we had 3 children two teenagers and 2 adults and our bill was $ 40.00 The miso soup comes with free refills. We ordered 3 hot items gyoza, popcorn shrimp Roll and a yakisoba. The rest were cold items off the bar. All very fresh we did get there at 11 when they opened. It’s a fun concept and a good choice for mall dining. I would go back. We did have to flag down our waitress a few times could have been a little more attentive

Way way overpriced lowest grade sushi ever! Very disappointed. It looks like fun but the food is such bad quality. I won’t ever go back again.

Went there for lunch one day and the setup is nice. Although, the prices are way to expensive for the very small portions you get. I ordered the chicken fried rice and it was overpriced for the really small portion you get… probably won’t be back.

Couldn’t find a half way decent place to eat at the mall so we thought to give this spot a try. Didn’t have very high expectations, but thought it would be fun for the kids. Fast food sushi on a conveyor belt. Young kids making the sushi, young wait staff, and wild music blasting through the spot. I felt like I was inside an issue of teen beat or something. Here’s the deal though, I was pleasantly surprised. You can order food from the hot portion of the menu, and the conveyor has cold sushi. Yes it’s fresh and stays cold, that was my concern as well. Quite a few different rolls to choose from and they were some of the better sushi I’ve had. I’m not huge into this type of food but I did leave satisfied and the food was both delicious and fresh. That’s really all that matters. A little pricey, but we sampled more than we normally would because we had never been. Ended up about 25 bucks a person, but that was mainly due to us never being there before and wanting to try a few different dishes. Could easily have got out for about 10 – 15 a person, pricier for a quick mall spot, but the food was worth it, and if the alternative is a burger or some deep fried garbage, I’d say invest in your health and go here.

For the price I payed I wish I was more satisfied or at least full but sadly I’m only close to feeling underwhelmed I’m not going to be back here. I would gladly spend more money elsewhere.

I had been to this place back in July several times while visiting the area and it was awesome but I just went back today and was not impressed. The food just was okay this time, last time it tasted fresh and delicious and they even had Ikura! They’ve since removed that from the menu and the flavors aren’t like they used to be. Very disappointing. Service was not that great either.

I’ve been to rotating bars before, so I knew the drill going in. I got there right when they opened, but despite being the only one there, service www lackluster. The rolls were nothing special either, but they were fresh. Prices were a little steep too. But, for being in a mall it isn’t the worst place.

Love the experience at YO! Sushi, I think the whole concept is an awesome idea and sure makes a great first impression. Just like most sushi franchises it’s a bit pricey when you stack up enough bowls. The sushi quality isn’t amazing but fresh enough to return for more! I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the UTC mall. If your looking for a quick lunch and appreciate sushi Id recommend it!

I was a little hesitant about coming into yo sushi but I figured I’d give it a try since I was in the mall anyway. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly you could begin eating the moment you have a seat. The selection of plates white diapers and it was so easy to figure out what the price of each plate was because on the menu every plate is color coordinated with its price. You could also order fresh from the shop if you like. The serving staff was phenomenal I really enjoyed my experience and if I’m looking for a nontraditional sitdown meal and some wonderful sushi I will definitely come back. The first thing I had was the tuna and caviar and it was absolutely phenomenal. The salmon was fresh and tasty incredible.

Very disappointing. The look is great, the idea is fun, the food is way below average. The salmon sashimi was flavorless but the tuna sashimi actually smelled rotten. The server said it didn’t smell bad to her, but grudgingly took it off our bill. We will not be back.

If you like good sushi, friendly service, and NOT paying restaurant prices for things you could easily buy in bulk at target, then avoid this crap fest. It is a rip off. The food is bad, the service is slow and unwelcoming, and the management doesn’t care if you leave unhappy. You will think it looks like fun when you see the conveyer belts and bright colors, but don’t be fooled. The rice tastes like lean cuisine. The spring rolls taste like what you get in the freezer section of the grocery store. The sushi is uninspired and just below average at best. There were people I saw today that were trying sushi for the first time and my heart aches for them. This place is total crap. Please please please do not eat here.

I love Sushi and love the concept behind this place. The ramen bowl i had was good and so was the sushi. It was good but not great. I’ll go there again. The service was great with a friendly and helpful staff.

If you are craving sushi and are in a hurry this is a great little place. The sushi tasted fresh and the atmosphere is fun. I went for a quick lunch and had: Salmon dragon roll(4 pieces) for $ 5 Spicy tuna roll(4 pieces) for $ 4 Salmon avocado(soy) maki(4 pieces) for $ 4.50 12 pieces of sush for $ 13.50! Can’t go wrong! I will be back

Very cool place! Great idea for Sushi. The Good: — The sushi and the food in general are good. — The food belt is very creative and certainly keeps you entertained. Not so good: — I think is a little bit overpriced for the experience. — The variety of food in the belt is very reduced and you have to order custom dishes from the menu. Summary: I recommend it, you should try the experience. I would go again, yes, but definitely not my first option.

Very cute place, good graphics but the food is mediocre at the least. Had a Japanese eggplant salad which was floating in oil, some tasteless sushi rolls. It seemed like the food had been going around that conveyer belt for too long, it didn’t taste fresh. It’s simply another mall eatery. Disappointing.

Enjoyed a delicious meal here tonight! First time visiting, great fun! Service was awesome! Great personable servers with great menu knowledge. They were able to answer the questions I had about what I had thought to be somewhat complex menu. Once I was guided in the right direction it was very easy to find the items I wanted, and I just ordered the others I didn’t see in the belt… Fast, fresh, fun is a great representation for this hot spot! Can’t wait to go back! I will be bringing friends next time.

This was the only restaurant with no line Friday night @UTC mall and we were HUNGRY. Should have had a cup of coffee and waited somewhere else. The food wasn’t BAD just not very good. The selection of items passing by on the conveyor belt was extensive. By the time you spotted a dish to eat, you needed the menu key to figure out what was going by, the dish was gone. It was much easier to summon the wait staff and list what we wanted. My salmon & avocado hand roll was good. I ordered the shrimp gyoza and it was AWFUL. It was burnt. INEDIBLE. Found out that instead of steaming or pan frying, they were DEEP fried. One of the three of us ordered two two tempura dishes and they were 3 nice sized pieces. But, they were served on two teenie plates making it difficult to eat and dip into the sauces in teenie cups. When the server was asked what kind of sauce was in the cups, she said tempura sauce for the shrimp. :0 Good music but WAY too loud for the small space.

Great concept, really poor execution! I always feel terrible when I write a poor review of a food establishment because I don’t want to be ungrateful for the opportunity to have eaten out somewhere… however this place was really poor! Once the novelty of the concept wears out(that takes about 2 minutes), you are left with very mediocre food and amateur service. No amount of server enthusiasm can mask the fact that the food is pretty bad. The sushi pieces are very small with lots of rice and very little fish. DONOT order the ramen… it’s basically colored water with absolutely no flavor or meat(typically should be pork) in the broth. I guess the best part of the meal was the gyoza, but even those pieces were pretty dinky(also only three per plate). Unfortunately this place is a one and done for me. The sushi is a step above supermarket quality and the service(although very nice people) was very poor.(ex. the concept of sugar or sweetener with ice tea seemed to be unheard of — our server hand dropped two sweet-and-lows for the two of us once asked, but still was confused about it). PS. I was debating between one or two stars, but the fact that there were a ton of flies buzzing around really sealed it(never a good thing at a new restaurant, and especially bad at a sushi place). My advice is to enjoy this place from the window looking in…

Some things are pretty average but the Salmon is really pretty good. Ask for the Salmon sampler. Nice modern George Jetson vibe.
