I love the concept of FruitCrate — all organic fresh fruits and veggies. They also offer other organic foods such as dried pasta, local honey & eggs, milk, yogurt, kombucha, etc. We needed a market in the Village again, so the demand for a grocer is definitely there. The couple who owns the business (and their baby) seem lovely and really friendly. FruitCrate needs to increase inventory, though. Last time we were in they only had two eggs for example. Otherwise, looking forward to shopping here more often. So glad this charming business made its home in Saratoga.

What a cute little space! FruitCrate is a little brick and mortar organic market. They’re brand new, so I imagine their selection will grow as they start to get more business. It’s a family-​run business. Both times I’ve visited, the husband, wife, and little baby were there taking care of customers (and just looking oh so cute). Apparently everything they carry is from local farmers, and the eggs come from their own chickens! I’ve never had organic eggs before, so I’m looking forward to trying them. I bought some eggs, beets, onion, & tomatoes. Saratoga is kind of far for me, but if I’m ever out in that area, I’ll be sure to stop in and see what they have.

Awesome choices of 100% organic produce! The quality is always great and the fruit and vegetable packages are amazing. Each week FruitCrate offers a mix variety of items so you never get sick of the same old items. The mixed variety that they offer really forces me to try new vegetables I’ve never had. They also offer great home delivery service!
